Gullatte Acres

Gullatte Acres is a peaceful, secluded farm with meadows, forests, creeks, and a pond with the North Campground being a half mile from the road on the north side of the pond.  There we offer 4 full hookup sites and 4 dispersed sites with fire pits.  Nearby there is a dump station, and next to that a restroom facility.  We also offer laundry service.

On the south side of the pond, there is a South Campground (not available through HipCamp) and two cabins along with two boats.   Let us know if you have any questions!

12 secluded acres .. Waterfront, with  cove for your enjoyment. Watch eagles mate, forage for mushrooms and enjoy the songs of the birds. Make a fire  by the shore whilst reeling in Catfish for the eating. It is so quiet, it is loud. It is the perfect place to disconnect. Essentially, just you , your people and nature. 

Pine And Oak Campsite

Escape to a private campsite in rural Alabama.  The property is surrounded by forest and wildlife.  There are several places to hang a hammock and plenty of room for outdoor games like cornhole. 

The city of Columbus is about 25 minutes away and offers white water rafting, zip lining, axe throwing, a river-walk, and other activities.  There are plenty of lakes and rivers to go fishing.   Auburn is about 40 mins away. 

The site offers an outhouse, fire pit, fire pit grill rack for cooking, platform (which can be used for small/medium tents, or to hold a table and chairs) and a hiking trail that is about 1/3 of a mile.  

Small cars are able to access campsite and park at site pretty easily.   

The property also has natural wildlife like coyotes, snakes, spiders, ants, etc..   Alabama can also get very hot during June, July, August.  Please prepare accordingly. 

Meeting at the front of the property is not needed, just drive to your hipcamp and set up 🙂 Please message me about any concerns!

About us:

My wife and I bought this property in 2020 with the goal of turning this land into a homestead. We plan on building a home eventually and have cleared out our homesite.   My mom and stepfather live at the front of the property and can help you if needed. My stepfather is retired and my mother works as a nurse assistant in town.   It’s a nice country experience, I believe you will enjoy!

Hidden Branch Campground

20 acres for Private RV Camping

20 acres, mostly wooded, for your private camping escape in a quiet, rural setting. The level site is beside a charming, old stone house on about 2 cleared acres. Full RV hookups: city water, 30 amp & 50 amp electric, and sewer are beside the vacant stone house.  Trash pickup is provided.

Nice "yard" area for the RV. The RV space is very close to level. Many great spaces for tent camping and hiking.  Bring your camp chairs to sit around the small firepit (just a circle of rocks, really).  The property is very dark at night so if you arrive after dark, you will want to have a good flashlight. 

Pets are allowed. Please pick up after your dog(s).

Near FD Roosevelt State Park (15 min drive) and Callaway Gardens (20 minute drive). 

There is an additional set of full RV hookups available but it will not be occupied unless both sites are rented as a bundle. Two RVs can park and hookup, one behind the other, in the long driveway.

Description:

The property is 75 feet wide and stretches 210 feet back from the road. Shaded with trees, flat, plenty of room for pitching a tent. The driveway clearing large enough for a car plus camper or RV.  I don't have dimensions, but use the pictures of my Jeep for reference. For now, you must decide if your rig will fit.  The driveway ground is hard, but there isn't any gravel on the drive yet, so be mindful of parking during rain or soggy conditions.

There is a fire ring and a few chairs to enjoy socializing or plenty of trees to hang a hammock and relax.  Basically a quiet place to relax, in an undeveloped neighborhood, and pretend you are in a backcountry tent site, 6 minutes from Dollar General :) War Eagle!

Willow Creek Camping

Come pitch a tent or hang your hammock between the beautiful hardwoods. 

We currently have primitive tent camping that can easily fit 4-5 tents or hammock camping. 

Both options sit alongside Sofkahatchee creek. We have 15 acres of untouched forest to wonder through and help you reconnect with mother nature. It’s my favorite spot for meditation and grounding. 

The sky is amazingly dark around here and stargazing would be at the top of my list of things I love about the property.

This area is full of wildlife.  Raccoons, deer, turkey, possums, armadillo, snakes, and even bears. I haven’t personally ran in to any bears but they have been sited. 
So, who knows what you will befriend while in the wild.

The camping areas are very private. It’s part of a 50 acre lot that has recently been cleared and in the process of reseeding and preparing for a pond and farm life. So, sorry if you run in to anything that isn’t picturesque but your camp site will be beautiful and peaceful.

For an additional cost, we offer amenities such as tents, towels, bug deterrent, firewood, fire starters, hand warmers, s’mores kits, camping toilet, gold panning kit, games and more. There are so many little towns near by. Our little town of Wetumpka is only 9 miles down the road. It was featured on HGTV's Hometown Takeover in 2021, was featured in the movie Big Fish and is a picture perfect town, with many locally owned shops and restaurants. It's located right on the Coosa River, where you can kayak/canoe (coosariveradventures.com), launch your boat or fish year round at Gold State Park which also has a fantastic play area for kids with a nice walking trail that goes along the river. Stop in at Coosa River Craft House or Coosa Cleaver for refreshing adult beverages and live music. Look for the Big Fish house. It's the big white house on the hill. 

We are 9 miles from Lake Jordan and 11 miles from Lake Martin. 

Fort Toulouse National Historic Park is 25 minutes away. There you can tour over 6,000 years of history. You can tour the French and American Forts or the Mississippian Indian Mound site, or just relax and take a walk along the trails.

Just 15 minutes east of us is Swayback Bridge https://www.riverregionmtb.org/swayback-bridge-trail. There are five loop trials available, ranging from 1 miles to 11.2 miles. You can hike or bike them. The bridge is 290 feet long and goes over Lake Jordan. 

Wind Creek Casino Wetumpka is 10 miles and Montgomery location is only 16 miles from our property, if you want to chance your luck with some gaming.

We are 20 miles from Montgomery, which is jam packed with civil rights historical sites, museums, a zoo, fabulous restaurants, a riverboat cruise on the Alabama River, a sip and cycle pedal boat cruise

We are a small you pick berry farm...but that's only during April - June.You will enjoy the view of 17 lovely acres with a view of a nice pond and loads of flowers most of the Spring and Summer

This 130-acre farm has been used for grazing cattle for a long time, but is now under the watchful eye of owner and landscape architect, in process of becoming a sheep grazing operation with aspirations of ecological restoration. It has something for everyone - some exciting forests and beautiful thick grasslands to explore, apond for those looking to fish, lots of wildlife and excellent birding! Come explore!

Welcome to your RV community! Snow birds and seniors welcome! Bring your own RV and enjoy full hook ups including electric (50, 30, and 20 amps), water, sewer, and wifi! All sites are back in only and are 25 - 27' wide.

This mostly fenced in lot includes gravel spaces for 4 RV on almost a half of an acre in a safe, quiet, residential neighborhood. Monthly rentals welcome.  ($575./month)

Just 1 mile from downtown Phenix City, 4 miles from Uptown Columbus, 11 miles from Fort Benning, 2 blocks from a local coffee shop!

This property is wooded on 2 sides which means lots of squirrels and birds and the occasional rabbit or two to watch.
