Property is at the dead end of a shared (w/neighbors) and narrow driveway ~60 yards from street/entrance, with tight turning/backing radius. Trailers will need to back down the driveway from street into the spot. Trailer tow vehicle should also be able to fit/park in the driveway. Might be an option to park under Carport (11' tall clearance) depending on size/configuration. Rigs must be self-contained. ALSO: This location being in an urban neighborhood (with homes/neighbors around it) – you will hear some city ‘white noise’ from planes, trains, automobiles, etc. Owner/host is an avid camper and lives on-site. Situated along the banks of the Tye River, this is the closest location to Steven’s Pass mountain and all the popular sites the scenic corridor has to offer! 6min from Steven’s Pass Resort, 1min to Scenic Hot Springs, 2min to Deception Falls, 2min walk from Iron Goat Trailhead and Cat skiing pickup! Just 45min from Leavenworth as well! Guests have the option to add on the Sauna package and enjoy our wood fired river view barrel sauna! No better feeling than to take a cold plunge in the river after a sauna:) All tent sites are riverside and feature mostly level tentpads and riverside fire pits! Some with room for multiple tents. While some sites are close in proximity, the sound of the river over powers most normal conversations just a few feet away and each site has a great stretch of river heaven! Drive in vehicle camping sites feature river views but are perched higher on the bank and while not directly riverside, are just feet away from the river! The property has communal river access points. All campers have access to our communal kitchen area as well featuring propane grill! Please bring your own cookware. Restroom facilities are well maintained portable toilets.

Amazing views! The property is at the base of Mount Si. The property is at the end of the road (literally). On the other side is 220,000 acres of forested land. We live in the house on the property. The RV spot is on the corner of the lot offering decent privacy. The spot is also under and surrounded by large trees so it is well shaded. The spot is stone gravel directly next to the road (low usage from other automobiles). We run an Airbnb in the house on the property with 4.98 stars (top 5% in Airbnb listings) to give you a sense of the majestic property and our hosting.

Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. This is a gated property, protected with a code, which you will be sent 24 hours before your arrival. The campsites are at the bottom of a long logging road so an SUV or AWD vehicle are preferable , especially during the wetter seasons. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy pool along the beach. A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing. Pets are welcome, there are private outhouses at each campsite. These outhouses are protected with a code, which is sent to you 24 hours before your arrival. Campfires are allowed (when burn bans are not in place).

Visit Vashon Island and relax on a private estate property. Camp overlooking Puget Sound, walk the trail down to the secluded beach and enjoy 1000 ft. of peaceful waterfront. Vashon boasts great coffee hangouts, bakeries, galleries, wineries, restaurants (May's Thai, Lunetta Pizza, The Ruby Brink, The Hardware Store Restaurant, Snapdragon and others). Galleries, shops and restaurants in the town of Vashon and also in Burton. Vashon Center for the Arts, O-Space and the Chamber of Commerce have events that might be of interest. Outdoor fires are by permission only. There are sometime burn bans for air quality and/or high fire danger. fires are allowed AT THE BEACH, below the high tide line, between October 1 and June 15, but there are various reasons they may not be allowed (air quality bans, windy conditions, etc.) Any fire you light must be put out COLD (no steam, no heat) with water and buried with sand before leaving them unattended. You are responsible for any damage or injuries caused by a fire you start, so please be careful! Please note: It is very important that the number of people on site is accurate. Please contact Hipcamp to change the number of people - there currently is no way to do that on the site?! There is an additional charge per person above the base 2 person rate. There is no outdoor music at any time. Quiet hours are 8 pm to 10 am. There is no picnic table or any amenities, but you can fill up water at our barn if needed. DO NOT USE THE WOODS AS A BATHROOM. It is necessary to bring your own latrine. The water at (shallower) Dockton Park (about a 6 min drive away) gets warm from swimming in summer if you prefer it to 54 degree deep water here! Please clean up after your pet. Dogs must be leashed AT ALL TIMES in the field. If no one is around at the beach, they can be off leash, but leash up if anyone approaches until they pass. Please never leave your dog unattended outside where barking will disturb the peace. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Looking forward to hosting you! The campground is in the valley under the highway making it very loud and not somewhere we'd likely go back to.

There is some freeway noise and many people come over from the Seattle area for day use on the weekends. This isn't a camping area to "get away from it all."

Very convenient campground just off of I-90 on the banks of the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River. Friendly camp host, water is great and flush toilets with hand dryers are a bonus. This campground is very popular and is worse for wear though. Site was strewn with trash when I arrived, cleaned up the best I could. Tent pad was uneven with poor drainage and created puddles around my tent with rainfall. Adjacent trail to Franklin Falls was completely overwhelmed with groups of day hikers, more trash, dog feces left on trail. Verdict: Might be in better shape in the offseason, otherwise, trek further to less popular sites.
