Located just outside of Parker, PA and 25 minutes from I-80, our campsite is very accessible, yet still very remote. With 4 campsites on 75 acres, guests have ample privacy and space, with the freedom to roam this posted property that has no homes on it. Perched high above the Allegheny there are several spots to take in the wonderful views. There is also a waterfall with a 3’ deep pool below it. Great for splashing with kids or dogs, guests love exploring the creek bottom and making new discoveries. The more curious guests sometimes find the ruins of the original homestead, chimney and spring house that sit upstream. The property is teeming with wildlife. Birds and tree frogs will be the soundtrack of your visit, and often deer will be seen nosing along the outskirts of your site in the mornings and evenings. Turkey, bald eagles and even bear are occasionally spotted, so be prepared to secure your food and trash at night. For those coming to disconnect, you have found the right place. But if cell service is needed, you will have enough for texts at all 4 sites, calls at 3 of 4 sites and good internet at 2 of 4 sites. For those who seek an electrical outlet AND an EV charger, the Travelers site is for you, and included in the price. Within a 15 minute drive of your campsite you can find The North Country Trail, Rails to Trails Trailheads and Boat Launches on the Allegheny River, Groceries, dining and beer. Growing up and building on the back of our Family Farm is the best goal I ever set for myself! My Off-Grid 20 acres has raised my 2 kids and all the animals we could rescue! We run a Horse Boarding Facility along with Freezer Meat of all sorts. It's a small Hobby Farm but we love it all the same! Family environment that's down to earth! Learn more about this land: Sites 1 and 2 are for campers/tents. Sites 3 and 4 are tent only spots. No shade. Top tent spots up in field (3 and 4) need a higher vehicle to get to them. A bit Off Road. 3 has privacy with Antique Trailer but 4 is wide open. Fire ring at all of them/with wood. Horse stalls/guided trails available for the campers bringing their own horses. If advanced notice, an hour Lesson or Ride can be scheduled. Our animals are friendly and love attention. Dogs welcome but need a leash. Our Family run Farm is willing to accommodate your needs. Book a stay with us as you pass on thru. (Totally Off Grid livin my dream. Remember to burn burnables and take non burnables with you. Generators welcome) Thanx!

The toilet is not available when temperatures are below 32 degrees. It's pretty dark here. There are no large cities anywhere around here. My family moved here in 1957 and I purchased it from my father in 1975. My wife is responsible for much of the landscaping and home improvements that have been done since 1990. We are retired self-employed .

This is a just out of town with a wooded camp area next to bubbling Yankee creek. Just under the ridge of the last known Indian tribe settlement in Trumbull County ohio. Several old trees date back to the original settlers. Our property is located just off the beaten path with 4.5 acres of land. It’s close to shopping and turnpike/hwy access but still has the out-in-the-country feel. We have a half acre pond filled with bluegill and large mouth bass, a hillside with apple trees and blackberry bushes, and a large gravel turnaround for easy access. We are close to Cuyahoga Valley National Park as well as multiple metro park areas for hiking and biking. Nearby attractions include Blossom Music Center, downtown Cleveland, and Boulder Creek—an award-winning golf course just minutes away. Wineries, bike trails, and canoe adventures await as well. Ask about renting the entire property for events: family reunions, micro weddings, group camping. There is also a two bedroom Airbnb on the property for those who aren’t the camping type. The Roller-Coaster Road Ranch offers many maintained trails, perfect for hiking. The property is mainly forested, but does contain numerous open spaces perfect for a rustic camping experience. The farm has a few large open fields that are plowed and planted seasonally. Various wildlife populates the area; whitetail deer, turkey, black bear, and bald eagles. A stocked trout stream passes through portions of the property and connects to a larger stream with many options for swimming, wading, and crayfish hunting. The Trout Camp site is located at the confluence of two trout streams at the valley bottom, it is an open wooded area in view of a dirt road. The Main Bridge site is located along a trout stream in the valley, offers the most privacy, and is gated. The Valley View site is located at the top of a hill along side a cornfield, with spacious views, beautiful sunsets, and cell service, but does not offer direct access to the trout streams.

Welcome to Sawdust FarmCamp! Located in Geneva, Ohio. We have four different sites to choose from: one tent site, two glamping tent sites, and one cabin. New in 2026 propane heated hot water showers are now available for all guests located along the drive and a short hike from the sites. Included with your stay a Nature Mindfulness Hike, where we find a deeper connection to nature and yourself is upon request. Contact host to schedule. Need some additional relaxation? Book a Reiki Healing at the Jug House next to the pond for an extra fee. Reiki is a Japanese stress reduction and relaxation technique that promotes healing. Contact your host for availability before booking the extra. We also have the option to book all our sites for a 15-person retreat, with special extras only available for that booking, including a pavilion teepee tent. Portable toilets are available, pets are welcome, and campfires are permitted. Naturalist Isabelle H. Klein wrote a collection of letters from her home of Sawdust (named form the sawdust left by the loggers of the early 60’s) for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Explorer Magazine from the winter of 1969 to the summer of 1976. They then were published as the book “Letters From Sawdust” by the Press of Case Western Reserve University for the Museum. It is a lyrical voyage through the seasons at the Sawdust Tract in Northeast Ohio. She details encounters with the wildlife of the area as well as the changing seasons and plant life. Reminiscent of Thoreau's writings about Walden. In 1978 an additional house was moved onto the property from Sidley's gravel pit and joined with the existing Klein farmhouse. We decided to preserve almost 400 acres of the property with the help of the Western Reserve Land Conservatory for the Cleveland Museum Of Natural History, Natural Areas. Forest is home to the red-sided dace, and 10 rare species of birds, including cerulean warblers. The original small family farm and surrounding woods we have retained are being restored and updated. We are proud to call Sawdust home and would love to share it with you.

Purchased by my grandfather back in 1953 it has been a diverse fruit farm for many years. Currently we have almost 200 acres, a lot of it woods. We don't currently grow the crops that we did but we have planted some wine grapes in the last several years. As we also have a winery, The Winery at Spring Hill, we wanted to get some of our own grapes in the ground. We have several places for tent camping and we have a large parking lot at the winery for RV parking. Learn more about this land: Right in the middle of Ohio's Wine Country!  Enjoy an evening at our winery or take the day and explore the 30 wineries in the area. In the spring of 2024, we built and opened a fenced in dog park called the "Barking Lot". This is available for any of our guests at the winery or who are camping here. We also have a small dog menu that includes our signature "Pupcuterie board". Woods and fields surround the camping area.  Close to the natural beauty of the Grand River (State Wild and Scenic River). Just a few miles from Geneva State Park and Geneva-on-the-Lake. Lots of activities: wine tasting, covered bridges, boating/canoeing/kayaking, fishing, swimming, biking, hiking, birding, nightlife, history, golfing, and lots of natural beauty.
