The campground is covered in tall old growth trees creating a beautifully shaded area to relax by the fire. BEWARE of the raccoons! They will invite themselves to dinner, rummage thru your belongings, and scoff at your attempts of scaring them away.

in Caesar Creek State Park, OhioChoose a site closest to the lake! The campground offers a variety of "types" or camping spots. Aside from the standard RV or tent sites, you can choose a site close to neighbors, or occupy an area with a private trail leading to the lake for an intimate viewing sunset over the trees and water. Plus, Ohio State Parks offer free launching of your personal watercraft so be sure to bring your canoe, kayak, or paddleboard!

in John Bryan State Park, OhioLow key and perfect for those not wanting to be surrounded by RV's. Smallish campground and fairly primitive - No showers or flushing toilets and minimal running water accessibility. RV spaces and tent camping areas are on opposite sides of the park. A great spot for bike packers to rest for a night and not far from Yellow Springs, OH.
