The Coop at Crow Nest Farm
in Crow Nest Farm in Trumansburg NY, New YorkGreat spot! The cabin was extremely clean and Chris was welcoming and communicative.
Amenities
* Fast wifi in the barn (~15 feet away). No Verizon cell service in the cabin. This was great because I could spend my evenings reading without being distracted by my phone, but was able to post up in the barn and do some work during the day.
* Clean bathroom and shower in the barn
* Cidery next door which is open by chance or appointment
* Refrigerator in the cabin to store the bottles of cider you end up purchasing
Location
* 2 Minutes to Trumansburg - Grab a coffee and a baked good at Gimme! Coffee, lunch and local foods at Main Street Market, and a couple of slices of pizza for dinner at New York Pizzeria. There were other spots that looked solid but weren't open during the week when I visited.
* 8 Minutes to Taughannock Falls State Park - Well maintained trail with waterfall views. You could run the full loop without losing an ankle to roots or rocks, if that's your speed.
* 20 minutes to downtown Ithaca
