Lovely forest getaway! Plenty of space with two campsites merged into one: a fire ring with mossy benches and a grill, and a table plus metal swing overlooking a lovely redwood ravine.
We arrived at 8:30pm on a Friday and were greeted by the sunny Teri who helped us get settled in. If you have a 4wd truck or SUV you can get all the way down to the campground and do car camping; the turn off is immediately to your right as you turn into the farm, but pull up to the BnB first to check in!
Firewood was provided. We could use a real bathroom with toilet and shower and sink at the BnB. We also had access to the hot tub and pool (if it had been open; seasonal). Lovely peaceful grounds with chickens, turkeys, and a hutch with rabbits. You can see the animals fed and tended to if you like, and can pet the bunnies. There are farm fresh eggs for sale for $5 while supplies last.
Although we are close to the BnB, the site itself is very private as it is down a steep hillside partly in a shaded ravine. The redwoods are magical! Only 20 minutes to hiking in Henry Cowell or Fall Creek SP and 25-30 minutes to Santa Cruz for dinner.
I would highly recommend this place as a solo getaway due to the seclusion and peacefulness. Absolutely would stay again.

This place was so good! Exactly the âglamping â getaway I wanted. Super close to many beautiful county parks. Delma left a lot of helpful info for us. Internet was reliable so we could spend evenings watching our tv shows. I was also able to do a bit of work. It was quiet, cool, cozy, private, and peaceful.
There are a microwave, oven, stove, toaster, tiny French press, and pour-over coffee jug with own mesh.

The cabin is cool in daytime and warm at night. Very cozy. The surroundings can get so still and silent you forget the outside world exists.

We had a lovely girls' weekend at the yurt. Even though it's very close to the host's house, it's around a corner so you have a lot of privacy when you want it. The yurt was really lovely and comfy! And it kept all the mosquitoes out during mosquito hours. There's enough parking for 4-5 cars and space for tents so you can probably fit up to 10 people here comfortably. There are some dog barking, cock crowing, and even gun shooting noises periodically, but otherwise it's super peaceful out here. There are bears so bring a bear-proof cooler or lock all food in the trunk of your car overnight.
There is a hot plate and a two burner camping stove Anna-Thea was nice enough to carry out to us. Four plates, a pot, a pan, and basic utensils. If you want extra cookware or a kettle, bring your own. The compost toilet was a brave new world for me - it's a bucket to poop in. But the wood shavings really took care of any smells. Peeing is done outside.... it was a little difficult occasionally to find a spot obscured from the main house and my co-campers so if I had any suggestions, it would be a privacy screen set up somewhere.
25-60 minute drive to South Yuba depending which crossing you go to. 25 minutes from a Safeway.
Anna-Thea was very sweet and responsive by text (yes, there is signal out there! whaaaaaaat) and I would happily camp here again!
