What a hidden gem! This campground is incredibly relaxing and spacious - the perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. Each site feels private and peaceful, surrounded by nature and plenty of room to spread out. The walking trails are absolutely beautiful, winding through lush, old-growth forests that feel almost magical. You can hear the birds, smell the fresh pine, and completely unwind. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves quiet camping and stunning natural scenery.

Convenient Site for a Seattle Visit

Wagon Camp Site 1
We spent 12 nights here in September and absolutely loved it! We used it as a base camp while visiting family in Seattle. Their horse trail connects to a wonderful public trail system. The campground is scenic, secure, quiet, and private. We definitely plan to camp here again with our 26’ travel trailer. HELPFUL TIPS: 1) There is a dump station only 5 miles away at Carnation Storage Center for $9.00. 2) The entrance road to Rockin Z drops a very steep 10 degrees off of Hwy 202…out of an abundance of caution, I’d recommend disconnecting your weight distribution/load bars before arrival and departure to eliminate the remote chance of folding your A-frame (an event that wouldn’t be covered by your frame warranty.)

Site was ok. Super clean. Water and electrical too far from spot to be easy to use. Nowhere to walk. Prob me, but I thought this was a farm experience. Never saw the owners. But again, super clean and new. Great for a night or two if you’re doing things nearby

It was a beautiful campsite and well layed out. Unfortunately there was no 30amp or 50amp RV plug with the listing being offered for Class C RVs which we have. Thankfully there was plenty of standard outlets and we had a few extension cords to run to the RV. It was not ideal but we made it work. The host did not respond when we messaged for help regarding.
The host was apparently an adorable cat we nicknamed HipCamp Kitty who hung out with us for most of our stay.

Quiet spot in the area, the instructions were precise, so we entered and just hooked ourself up for the night.
The porta-potty could be in better shape.
But otherwise great spot to park safely around Redmond.

The campsite at Rockin' Z Ranch was a great choice for my two nights near Seattle, as it afforded a quiet camp-like experience only 40 minutes from downtown Seattle and very close to Remlinger Farms, where I took in a concert one evening. The site was well maintained, includes a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, a clean water source for each site and a fire pit that I did not use, but looked serviceable. There is a fairly antiquated, but serviceable Porta-Potty that was centrally located among the three RV sites and the tent sites. I would definitely stay here again with my little teardrop camper when I have events in Seattle and the surrounding area.

Stayed at wagon campsite 1 with a truck and 30 ft trailer. Very nice site but getting the trailer in the site was difficult and would have been nearly impossible if someone was parked at site 3. Standard outlet/power was at the front of the site but required more than 30ft of power cord and water hose to reach the hookups from my tailer. Overall awesome stay, clean site, beautiful views, and fun animals.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay!! Quiet, peaceful, well set up, easy to navigate, and lovely animal neighbors! This Hipcamp was awesome, with water, trash, recycling, firewood, picnic tables, chairs, fire pits, it truly has it all. It’s about a 35/40 minute drive to Seattle which was easy to do. My absolute favorite part of the camp was the little kitty who became my weekend best friend.

The tent camp site "A" was wonderful - enough tall trees around to provide both shade and a sense or awe, and pretty level, grassy ground. Yes it's 50 yards down from parking area but there are blackberries along the main path:) RV sites up top also spacious but fewer trees, pale in comparison.
Some prior reviews mentioned a hornets nest in the porta-potty - it was gone and the Honey Bucket was clean and even had TP, oh boy. Horses were absent when we camped but owner said they are back now (4 days later). Oh, and the cat - all those stories are true, it led us down to the site and wanted to sleep with us but was ok when we politely declined.
All in all, a gem.

Worked for a last minute campout, but the site had a lot of animal waste and you could smell rather than see the horses. Outhouse was clean, and it came with a very friendly cat and some friendlier mosquitos ;). Very well lit which is probably great for RV or trailer camping.

This was a great spot. The setting and privacy is top notch. I liked it so much that the next week I booked it again. The commute to work in South Seattle was beautiful in the morning too. Every morning an inversion over the fields. Even made friends with a great cat!

First time using Hipcamp and this tent site was perfect. Great location near the music festival we went to and easy to find. Well kept space, clean. Didn't use the firewood but it was nice to be able to buy it on a whim if we had the time.

Such a lovely spot to spent the night. Very flat, spacious site with a nice fire pit and easy access to water and a porta-potty. They had firewood available for purchase through the app too, which was really nice. We came and went without any issues. There was also a lovely cat who greeted us and was very friendly.

We arrived after dark. There were signs and lights, very easy to find our site. Perfectly level and enough separation from the other two sites. Benched around the property along with a super friendly cat. Very quiet, just keep driving up the steep hill till you arrive at William's paradise!

This was a perfect spot for us. We stopped in and camped on a night where we had to get up early the next day for a soccer game at the local soccer tournament.
Immediately, when we got there, a couple of cats come hung out with us, my daughter absolutely loved it. She named them Coco and Leo.

It’s a nice working ranch in the middle of a dense forest, great place to relax when you’re done enjoying your day’s activities, very close to Redmond and a bunch of wilderness. There were no horses when I visited, however I saw ducks in the pond, some small goats and two very social cats which my dog terrorized, then jumped in the swamp, bad dog…. There is a porta-potty to go in which was ok but there is an active wasps nest in it! Running water is clean and tasty, fire pits and firewood you can buy but the app was not working so I took a few logs, sorry! Bring earplugs because the rooster starts crowing at about 3:30 AM . There is water and electrical hookups, you can turn off the street lamp with the off button on the controls under the cover halfway down the light pole. The road to the site is fine for low clearance vehicles

We found a nice level spot for our campervan. It was nice to have a hose with water. While for most people the cat is probably great, for us, the cat was a little bit annoying, to keep her off the table and out of the van, but that was the only slight negative for us. Host was great, and when water system went out, he was very attentive to getting it back on.
