Paradise on Lake Texoma (formerly Paradise Cove) is a beautiful, secluded commercial campground located in the "Big Mineral Arm'' of Lake Texoma. Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake! The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.  In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. Our staff works really hard to make sure everything is perfect for your stay and we can’t guarantee it will be if you arrive before then. Parking, we work really hard to keep our property beautiful. Be sure to park in parking areas only.

Ready to find your own space and enjoy primitive camping on Lake Texoma? At Paradise on Lake Texoma, our walk-in primitive camping area is perfect for a secluded escape in your tent away from it all. Whether you’re on a solo trip, looking for a way to truly introduce your family to the great outdoors, or have a larger group that you want to be together, we can accommodate groups of most sizes. We have 6 designated and private sites that are nestled in the woods surrounding a HUGE common area for activities and games. Our primitive camping area is right next to the water and has a private beach (exclusively for you) that you can enjoy. PLEASE NOTE: This area is designed for those comfortable with backpacking. It's a short, level walk to the area, but we don't recommend this for people who need access to their vehicle or bring everything (including the kitchen sink) when they tent camp.

It have the best views of sunset and sunrise. The lake water sounds so therapeutic. The restrooms are so clean. Would absolutely come back.

Wintery Weather Getaway

We had an amazing time during a wintery getaway during an ice/snow storm this past weekend. We had the entire cabin area to ourselves (yes I was told 100x by friends we were crazy to go to Texoma for a snow storm) and our Kabana 9 could not have been cuter. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Staff did a fantastic job making sure we had extra blankets to stay warm and jugs of water. The hosts even came by to see how we were doing on Day 2. Was a gorgeous location before and after the snow. The bathrooms were amazing and clean. We are sold and will be back again in the warmer spring weather.

Site 17 - Kasita Glamping Cabins Lake Texoma
Loved this spot! The view was amazing, right by the water. The cabin was cozy and the restrooms very nice, loved that there were individual restrooms/shower. The provided fire pit, sink, and grill at each site made it easy to cook campfire meals. Will definitely be back!

We tent camped for the Thanksgiving weekend and it was lovely! The wheelbarrow available for use was clutch for the walk-in site. Even though it was mostly flat, it saved us the hassle of carrying things down and back. They sell wood and are easily available for questions or if you need to place an order via text. The bathrooms were clean, had TP, and the water was hot! They are the main bathrooms for the whole property and are right next to our car park, so pretty convenient. Recommend a luggable loo otherwise. We were the only campers so had our pick of site. For this time of year, only appeared that half of the sites wouldve been useable. Some were muddy from deer and recent rains, plenty of room to spread out, though. There was unfortunately some glass spread around (user's fault, not properties) so be careful with pets or in warmer months, being barefoot. The beach was really clean and you can tell they do regular cleanups. Appreciated the extra social areas and walking the property was a great hike. It was super peaceful on the calm nights and cozy on the windy ones. Very much recommend this site and would return!

Due to unexpected damaging storms from June '25, my partner and I were unable to stay at Kima 8 during the holiday weekend. Our reservations were rearranged so I have no feedback for Kima 8, but the reservation team was extraordinarily polite and helpful. Grateful for their efforts and respectfulness.

The cabin and park is just amazing it feels so cozy and the view of the lake is incredible. Can’t wait to go back! If the wind is too high in the lake for paddling there is a cove next to the cabin area that is great for paddling and blocked from the wind.

Sweet little getaway!
Site 17 - Kasita Glamping Cabins Lake Texoma
My partner and I had a lovely spring break getaway here on Lake Texoma. We loved watching the sunset over the lake and walking along the coast in the mornings. It rained quite a bit our first two days in town, so we retreated into the nearby town of Denison where we explored bookstores, antique malls, and had the BEST pizza at Say When Brewing. We were grateful for the heater unit in our Kasita and later the AC when it started to warm up again. We had a wonderful time reading, playing board games, watching movies on the projector we brought, and enjoying each others company. Highly recommend!

It was so fun to go “camping” but have AC and a shower. It was a beautiful October weekend. Our dog loved playing on the sand and in the water and we caught a catfish! Bathrooms were very clean and the charcoal grill worked great. What a cute escape from DFW!

I would have preferred to be able to unload everything much closer to the campsite. I don’t understand why vehicles aren’t allowed to temporarily access the campsite for unloading and then move to the designated parking area. It seems like it would be more efficient and convenient for campers, especially when carrying heavy or bulky items. Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathrooms is a crucial aspect. Regardless of how primitive the campsite may be, the facilities should be kept clean. We pay to use these amenities, and they should be maintained properly to ensure a comfortable experience for all campers.

Primitive camping was absolutely beautiful here. I camped under a gorgeous pecan tree and had full beach access with my dogs. The fire pit was well maintained. The camp hosts were SO NICE and SO HELPFUL. I will be coming back here over & over again
