A true escape in the wild, our secluded Orchard Wagon is nestled in the corner of the apple orchard. Close to delightful beaches at Dunwich, Walberswick and Southwold, and a walk to the local pub. Perfect for those that want to get back to basics in nature, the wagon comfortably sleeps 2 people and includes a private bathroom, washing and kitchen cabin. The Orchard Wagon has a double bed (1.5m x 2m) with a smart little wood-burning stove to keep you toasty as you watch the stunning Suffolk sunsets. White Egyptian cotton sheets and towels provided. Cooking couldn’t be easier with the well-equipped cooking cabin next door or the barbeque on the stone terrace in front. Fire up the Chiminea to keep you warm as you eat al fresco. Take the stepping stone path up behind the wagon to find the washing shed with three separate rooms for washing up, showering, and the composting loo. Plenty of hot water and for those who like communing with nature try showering with the door open - it’s a lovely experience and what a view. Lovely wagon

Shepherds Hut - The Orchard Wagon

The lovely wagon by the apple trees farm. Bed room, toilet, shower, everywhere is clean, tidy, and organised. Very quiet, no one distracted us. Lots of starts in the night, wake up with sun rise.. .... Everything was super perfect!! Caroline, the host was generouse and kind , too. We defnitly get back the wagon again!

Perfect spot for a motorcycle toure

Shepherds Hut - The Orchard Wagon

I loved Caroline's space. Me and my friend needed somewhere to stay where the motorcycles would be safe and had some privacy. The Orchard was ideal. The kitchen building has a gas oven, hob, utensils etc. The other building has seperate toilet, shower (which was great) and wash up area. The sleeping wagon was very clean and comfy and had a great bed. The only downsides were a complete lack of electricity, so nowhere to charge sat nav, comes etc. And the bugs. But as we are fairly used to the great outdoors, and sprayed some repellant the sheds and wagon stayed bug free. As for charging up equipment, we are self sufficient so no issue for us. There is a bit of traffic noise, but nothing much and all in all, I will be booking again next time I need somewhere to stay to explore the area and fabulous beaches like Covehithe. You are surrounded by AONB and historical sites. It was the perfect stop on our tour, other than the fact it delayed us moving on for a day because we didn't want to leave.
