Family-friendly camping in a quiet countryside setting close to the beach at Whitstable Set within 4 acres of Kent countryside, this small quiet family friendly site is an ideal place to relax and unwind this summer. Ideally located for exploring the nearby coastal town of Whitstable or the historical city of Canterbury, both less than 10 minutes drive away. Explore the nearby ancient woodland of Blean Woods National Nature Reserve that has a wealth of wildlife and many great walking and cycling paths. Two pubs, a farm shop and village store can be found just over a mile away. The Kent coast is lucky to have some of England's coolest and finest seaside towns. And Whitstable, with its fresh seafood and annual oyster festival, ranks right alongside them. It's long attracted city-dwellers in need of a little sea air and relaxation. Whether it's wandering past its pastel-painted shopfronts or taking a dip off its sheltered beach, this is the ideal for day-trippers. There’s a thriving arts scene and a genuine community spirit with plenty of places to eat and drink.

Chapter Farm campsite is a large open space in the vicinity of the Blean Woods Nature Reserve. Guests will enjoy 1 acre of grassy space with only 8 grass tent pitches. Guests have access to communal facilities including flushing toilets and electric showers just a 2 minute walk away. There are no hookups but potable water is available at the communal area along with a small kitchen area which has a fridge/freezer and charging points. A BBQ/fire pit is available to hire as well as the purchase of logs and kindling in advance or on site.

Chapter Farm Campervan/Motorhome unit is a 60 sq ft space with views across farmland. There are no hookups or sewage disposal here, so guests will need to be self contained and take waste with them. There is a short walk to the facilities which include two separate toilet and shower rooms, two washing up sinks with hot and cold running water. There are charging points and also an outdoor tap for drinking water.

Absolutely superb trip. Tony’s a very thoughtful host, providing a warm welcome and providing great facilities. Tent was really well kitted out and the views and country walls in the area were gorgeous. Thanks Tony!

Tony was a great host. Lovely site with just 4 tents with own area and area for fire. Really peaceful and bright sky area. Really clean toilets and shower. Great location for visiting Whitstable. Bell Tent cosy with all we needed, poured it down but stayed dry. Will be back.

Host was very approachable and made sure we had everything we needed. Super clean area, and site. Large area to ourselves which meant we could spread out as needed. Lovely site and beautiful countryside around us.

We received a very warm welcome from Tony, he was so accommodating nothing was too much effort. Our first time glamping and we loved it. The kids enjoying the open space to run around and play games.The tent was great- clean, tidy and had everything we needed- plates, cups, cutlery etc. There was even a hob outside on the picnic table. Great facilities on site which wasn't far to walk. Great location 10mins to the beach and a short distance to Canterbury. We went to Howletts wildlife park which was a great day out. Couldn't fault our stay, we will definitely be back and will be recommending.

Great location, nice new tents and facilities, and Tony was a very hospitable host. We rode the Crab & Winkle way to Whitstable with the kids, which was fun. Would recommend!

Fantastic campsite - very easy to get to, and really close to local hotspots including Canterbury and Whitstable, but also peaceful with lots of space, great tents and facilities, loads of equipment, all set out in a really lovely field. Highly recommended.

First time we have ever been glamping. Could not ask for more. Stunning views, quiet. Half way between Canterbury and Whitstable. It feels remote but you are literally 10 minutes from the major tourist spots. Bed was comfortable. Little touches, like somewhere to put your bag so it’s not on the floor. Milk and eggs in a fridge for us. Toilets, showers immaculate. Washing up area spotless. Definitely, we will be back.

My husband, 2 children and myself came for 2 nights over a weekend recently. We have never tried camping/glamping before, but I am so glad we did, especially here at Tony & Kerry’s farm. Everything was to absolute perfection, we had such a warm welcome by Tony who was kind, helpful and great with the kids. Everything you could possibly need is provided, the toilets/showers and kitchen was pristine, the bell tent was set up beautifully, and your own personal fire pit was the cherry on top. Very close to Canterbury and Whistable, both towns full of beauty and character. We recommend to anyone who’s thinking of booking, as we will definitely be returning! Thank you so much.

We had a fantastic glamping experience over the August bank holiday at Bright Sky Glamping. Perfectly located, with easy access to both Canterbury and Whitstable with loads to do in the area. We stayed in a luxury bell tent, which was fully equipped. Impeccable facilities with wonderful hot showers, they have thought of everything! All we need was our clothes. Highlight of the weekend was sitting in a meadow around our fire pit gazing at the stars. Highly recommended. We can’t wait to go again!

Bell Tent

This was a lovely little site in a field in the Kent countryside. The owners have considered their guests needs thoroughly. The toilets and shower areas were clean and tidy and decorated beautifully. The wash up/kitchen area was also very carefully thought out with a fridge freezer with a shelf for each tent and a freezer full of ice packs for cool boxes. There is a charging point with traditional 3 pin plug sockets & also USB sockets- very useful! The tent area itself was again well organised with each tent having a noticeable boundary marked out by mown areas. the area consisted of a tent- more on that later- a picnic table/bench , a camping table with a 2 ring camping stove and a firepit with a bag of kindling & logs provided (which lasted us 3 nights). So the tent- just beautiful - one double futon with bedding and 2 single futons- we only used one so the other was set up as a chair. There are little crates as bedside cabinets and two shelving units with all the equipment you could ever need, mugs, pots, plates, cutlery, a washing up bowl, tea towel- basically if you needed it- it was supplied! Close by there is a nice pub where the food was reasonably priced and decent. you are also on the edge of the Blean, a local nature reserve and about 10 minutes outside of Whitstable. Overall a lovely little site with magnificent views over the countryside and a great base to explore Kent from

Excellent Shower rooms and kitchen area with 2 sinks and large fridge freezer all you need for your trip! I loved my first glamping trip couldn't have found a better place. Sofia xxx
