We look forward to welcoming you to Setts Wood Farm and will provide you with all you need for a relaxing and rewarding visit to Tenterden and The Weald.
We offer a selection of bell tents or you can bring your own tent. The camping is set across 2 fields and extends to 12 acres. We have a maximum of 30 tents so it is never crowded.
Come and meet the alpacas, sheep, pigs, goats and horses!
We also have a small fishing lake which guests are welcome to use for a small donation. We restocked last year and there are carp and several species of smaller silver fish. It is ideal for beginners and children. Any children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Setts Wood Farm is perfectly positioned to explore Tenterden and the surrounding villages, and is less than a 20 minute drive to the historic town of Rye, with the beaches of Camber, Dymchurch and Littlestone just a few minutes further.

Great little site, only saw and spoke to Raf but he was cool and helpful , perfectly adequate facilities, the bucket showers are fun in the hot weather for sure . Nice views , peaceful and fun experience, great to disconnect for even just one night ! Would recommend to anyone 100%

Great views! Nice and quiet - only sound is birdsong of an evening. Staying in Esmarelda was a cosy few nights for me and a great experience. Alex is a great host and always at hand if you need any assistance. I highly reccommend.

We love this place and have come here every year for the past 4 years. This time, we came with a group of friends and while some of us did glamping (which they said were amazing), my family stayed in our tent. The grounds were dry but not hard, and flat. It rained while we were camping but drainage must be good as it did not get muddy. Our kids enjoyed playing badminton (there's a net erected), swinging in the hammock, looking at the chickens and going up the tree house. The toilets are clean and there are hot showers! Alexandra is a great host, and responds quickly to queries. I love this place as it is not prescriptive (no grids as boundaries for your tent), not built up with concrete (wooden cubicles for toilets and showers), and that there are no cars driving through the campsite so no worries about our kids running around. It has such a lovely vibe. The noisiest thing at night were the nightingales!

Fleets Paddock is a peaceful rural idyll within easy reach of Canterbury as well as the beaches of Margate, Whitstable and Herne Bay. The setting is perfect - especially with younger children. There is a badminton net, clean flush toilets and an open air hot shower. We stayed in the Bell Tent this year which I can't recommend enough. Thank you to Alexandra for her care and attention.

Fleets Paddock is a truly magical place. We were a group of families returning once again and had the best time - the kids didn’t want to leave.

The cabin is perfect!! It was well equipped, everything works well, it’s clean and self sufficient with everything you need for a weekend stay (or more). Mark is also really friendly and helpful! First of al Mark is a real gentleman and a great man. We stayed as wel in the granery as in the treehouse. Both are realy beautiful places to stay. The granary has more luxure and specialy the woodburner in wintertime is lovely. The treehouse is les luxery but a great cosy place to spend the night.

Mark is a gentleman. His property is lovely. The tree house is very cool. The walk into Elham is only 20 min. My girlfriend and I commuted from London to Marks property without a car. It was more than doable, £25 taxi from Folkestone west train station . Just mentioning this in case other carless people are hesitant. There is an electric cooler, I wish I brought a steak to throw on the fire. Great speaker in the tree house. Even in November with high winds we were warm. Thanks again Mark!

My son and I had an amazing time at Angela's Shepherds hut. It was so cosy and a lovely adventure for us. Having the hot tub made it even better. There was a heater, thank goodness 😁 and all the amenities we needed. Angela was so welcoming too. We will be going back.

My experience at fleet paddock was everything I had hoped for and more all the facilities were clean and well kept , I shared the family bell tent with friends and it had everything we needed for a memorable evening, the campsite was pretty busy but still maintained a peaceful family vibe, I would highly recommend this camping site to anyone wanting to escape the chaos of city life and connect with nature.
For me the highlight was the clear sky's at night which revealed the most stars I have ever seen it was amazing 👏 🤩
