Ffynnonwen is the perfect spot to reconnect with nature and nourish your soul. We're a quiet site with dark skies and campfires, so you can relax in peace and tranquillity whilst watching the butterflies or stargazing at night.
We're a tiny camping and glamping site with just 5 camping pitches, a traditional Mongolian Yurt and 2 bell tents. Our pitches are all surrounded by flowering grasses and wild flowers and each have their own sunken fire pit. You can explore the winding paths where you might happen upon a hammock for an afternoon snooze or even some fairies (if you tiptoe!)...
We have compost toilets, a shower with unlimited hot water and a shared fridge and freezer. The camping area is car free after set up.
We're just 3 miles from the beautiful Ceredigion beaches and some great walks along the Wales Coastal path.

Our Yurt is set up in the trees giving you peaceful seclusion and a clear view across the sea to Wales and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. A huge range of activities are possible or you can lie in the hammock with a good book. We have very friendly dogs and rescue chickens who may come and visit. Wild deer wander past in the early morning mist and the odd buzzard picks an argument with a bunch of crows but nothing much else should disturb you. We moved here after an 18 month search 8 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

What a gorgeous place! The perfect place for a calm refuge to reset and re-enter life restored.
Lovely kind hosts, beautiful views and walks straight from the roundhouse enjoyed by us and our cat Blue. Absolutely magical.
Such a comfortable bed, cosy lights, cooking supplies, folk takes - all you would need. Can't thank you enough!

Lovely, well appointed camp! Great facilities and hidden gems to discover once you are there! Pizzas are delicious and a truly magical spot looking towards the Priselli hills. Spa was delightful, pigs are friendly and the hay bale barn was a big hit with the kids! Highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay at the round house. The location is incredibly serene with gorgeous views. The building is beautiful and has been furnished with great attention to detail. The bed is really cosy, the hot shower is great and the cooking area is well equipped. Meg and Benjamin were very attentive hosts and we would warmly recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful few nights. A great play to relax and loved the fact that it's so tucked away with so many walks straight out the door. A bonus was seeing the odd supersonic jet emerge at tree level at the end of the Mach Loop. Don't worry, these were a spectacle, not an irritation. Peace and serenity assured here and some wonderful beaches a short car ride away. Recommended!

A beautiful & enchanting place. Perfect to disconnect and reconnect with nature. The roundhouse itself is truly magical set in an almost mythical location. Will return and definitely recommend for those looking to tune out.

We want to give the best feedback possible for Tim and the yurt. Tim is a fantastic host, so helpful, makes himself available for any enquiries and local information, and genuinely cares that his guests are well looked after. It really wasa complete experience for us as Tim welcomes well behaved dogs too.
The yurt is a dream! So comfortable, everything you could possibly need to be warm and cosy and prepare easy food , especially with Tim’s own hens eggs, and breakfast and barbecue packs (much of which are from the organic farm just down the road) a lovely bonus . Super wood burner, a quilt which has had me looking online since we got back it’s so warm and comfortable and the setting is beautiful in its own paddock (which our dog loved!) with lovely views. The washing up, shower and compost loo facilities were so convenient on the decking next to the yurt, well lit at night by sensor lights, clean with all the all required products supplied, and eco friendly too.
The lovely bottle of Prosecco and fresh apple juice were a really kind and very much appreciated gift. We would recommend anyone to stay here and we shall certainly be coming back. THANK YOU!!

We absolutely loved our few days at Gurt Yurt and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our boys are aged 9 and 7, and this was a dream trip for them: beautiful views over the countryside, deer, buzzards, Tim’s hens and so much space to run around and play. They loved the tyre swings and hammock too. The beds were super cosy and the yurt is equipped with a wood burner, electric blanket and hot water bottles which kept us warm on the cool April nights. Tim is a lovely host - so accommodating, knowledgeable about the area, and goes above and beyond to ensure his guests have a great experience. We will treasure our camp fire memories and the time we spent here. Hope to return again soon.

This place is extremely special. Very remote, beautiful and tranquil in natural and peaceful surroundings.
If you're an eco-friendly animal lover you will be at home here. I wish I could have stayed forever.
The round house is so pretty, very clean, very well thought out, has everything you need and is the perfect retreat. I will return 100%.
Compost toilet is clean and tidy, not smelly. The shower is warm with everything you need and even the toiletries are amazing.
Megan and Benjamin are super lovely humans. Always there to help if needed, very kind and considerate.
I would recommend a pair of Wellies as is a little walk from the parking area to the round house. Definitely worth it though 👌
Also it's a good drive 'up' so keep going you're not lost 😅

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the railway wagon. Amazing place to just retreat by the fire and enjoy disconnecting from the busyness of life. We had everything we needed to cook during our stay. Tasteful decor inside and out.. Tranquil setting in nature. Beautiful views from the carriage and decking. The outdoor shower is lush and the outdoor bath is just dreamy 🛁🫧✨ Megan was responsive and on hand to answer our queries & gave us some great recommendations in the local area.
