We are a small, peaceful. secluded campsite bordered by woodland and a stream, set amidst the wildlife country of the Ceredigion countryside on the edge of the Cambrian mountains. With only 20 camping pitches and 'The Bothy' shepherd's hut, Teifi Meadows is a place to relax, unwind and appreciate the calming beauty of nature. This is a dark sky zone with stunning celestial views on clear nights, and near-zero light pollution as well as pristine air and water quality. Our guests tend to appreciate the quiet stillness here and we don't have a lot of disturbances...so all you will hear is the wind, the birds, the rushing streams and perhaps the odd cow! :) Everyone, even the cynical, should have a little romance in their lives. Teifi Meadows should warm the battery of your camera as well as the cockles of your heart: this is wildlife country – look out for red kites overhead – in the midst of the greenery of the Ceredigion countryside, and close to the walks, dolphin spotting and beaches of the stunning west coast and Cardigan Bay. National Trust sites, River Teifi fishing and canoeing, mountain pony trekking, Roman gold mines and blooming great gardens are in the area too. Lampeter, about three miles away, has plenty of food shops, independent stores and a farmers’ market, and the pub at Cellan, also three miles away, serves food and Sunday lunches - another romantic highlight…

Weekend Trip to Teifi Meadows

We were the only campers for one night on this very quiet and beautiful site. Absolutely silent and completely dark with only the sound of birds and the wind and rain in the trees. Excellent loo, shower and washing up station and very kind and welcoming owner. A healing and restorative experience. Recommended .

Weekend Trip to Great House Farm Luxury Pods

We had a great stay in the Wye Pod at Great house farm. Communication was fab and super speedy! All info was sent over on email before our stay and made it very easy for checking in. The pod was cosy and clean, as well as the hot tub being the perfect temperature for arrival. The views are amazing and we all wished we could wake up and use a hot tub with that view everyday! the animals are all cheeky and fun to watch, my favourite was the donkeys! We had a really great dog friendly stay and would defo stay again! The only thing we wouldn't have minded more of was the tea, coffee & sugar. Otherwise a stunning stay!

Weekend Trip to Upper House Farm Glamping

Fantastic weekend at Upper House Farm glamping. We stayed at the Mountain View Bell tent. Pleasant surprise to see a picnic bench and extendable parasol, which weren't mentioned in the listing. Very comfortable double bed. Great that you have a camping stove, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery. Very thoughtful of the owners to have a bottle of water, wood and kindling. Stunning view of the Black mountains from the field and the stars at night were really a sight to behold. Would highly recommend. You'd be hard pressed to find anything else like this anywhere for an absolute bargain price

We had a lovely time in the Irfon pod, everything was exactly as described and our hosts were wonderful. The animals, who were very cunning and hatched their escape were so delightful and really made the trip special, I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a break from city life and some time around friendly farmstock (I wish I could have taken your goat home)

Weekend Trip to School Farm Holidays

We stayed in Stag Lodge. Delighted with our accommodation. It was comfortable, stylish, and had every facility. A wonderful hot tub. Helen was a great host, e mailing a really useful handbook, about the Lodge, & area. I appreciated the fact that all the essential items like soap, dishwasher tablets, salt, pepper, teabags etc etc were supplied…! A great base to enjoy visiting an interesting area.

Absolutely stunning location with beautiful views from our pod and hot tub!! Pod had everything you could possibly need and more, we found it comfortable for me, my husband and teenager. Really enjoyed watching the animals grazing and loved seeing the Pygmy goats!

Beautiful view. The sky at night is unlike anything I have ever seen; so clear that I could see every star! The hosts were personable and helpful. They offered activities and provided advice for food orders. The hot tub was stunning and located right next to the pod, so it felt very private hopping from one to the other. It was a well needed relaxing weekend! We will defo be going back :)

Weekend Trip to Cae Nant Glamping

Fantastic stay with lovely personalised attention and details. Great quiet tucked away spot and perfect for getting out and about... we had outside hot tub baths on both nights, made pizza on the terrace one evening, and enjoyed movie nights in front of the wood burner (with our nephew with special needs). We were out for pony trekking on the Sunday morning (30 mins away) and then Sunday lunch overlooking Lake Vyrnwy (10 mins away). Lovely cooked breakfast supplies and generally fabulous hosting. Highly recommended.
