Situated on 160 acres within Exmoor National Park, campers are encouraged to take advantage of our relaxed, rule-free approach allowing you to pitch wherever you fancy. Sheltered corners and wide open spaces are aplenty suiting everyone from couples to large groups. Panoramic sea views greet every patch of our working farm while CAMPFIRES and DOGS are actively encouraged.
If the views bring you, it's the inclusive facilities that'll keep you. Two blocks contain 10 toilets, 7 unlimited hot showers (try these!), laundry, washing sinks, fridge/freezer & a microwave. There are also freshwater standpipes in each field and a chemical disposal point.
However, sometimes a shower doesn't hack it. That's where our converted stone Barn Café comes in-complete with Wi-Fi & charging points. Open all day every day, 'The Barn' provides an oasis away from the elements, where you can enjoy everything from breakfast in the garden to dinner by the woodburner. If DIY campfire cooking is more your style, we also have a fully-stocked farm shop onsite providing all the essentials & much more too!
Drinks? There's only one choice... a pint o' Caffyns cider. Homegrown on our 3000-tree strong orchard, located next to the campfields, our apples go from picking to pinting without leaving the farm. From sweet to scrumpy varieties there is no better way to try this land's fabled beverage than in our cider bar.
For the adrenaline junkies, onsite horse riding allows you to sample Exmoor's scenery from the saddle. Catering to all experience levels, from beginner to advanced, our range of rides (1hr-3hrs) gives everyone the chance to explore with a discount given to those staying with us!
Wandering through Caffyns acreage will introduce you to some of the other friendly farmyard 'locals'. Goats (Hint: Goat Cafe?!), alpacas, chickens, turkeys & sheep are all dotted throughout the farm on the way down to the South West Coast Path on our farm's perimeter. The nearest beach is a 20min walk away (Lee Bay) while Lynton & Lynmouth are 45mins.

Set on a working farm, the pitches have easy access from the main A475, giving you good connections with the coast at Aberaeron (25 minutes’ drive) or the indie shops of Carmarthen (40 minutes).
Simple on-site facilities include a shower and loo block, plus recycling and waste-water disposal. With just a handful of pitches, there is loads of room for kids to let off steam safely and have a run around with (well-behaved) dogs.

Your hosts Michele and Chris developed this unique 1-acre forest garden over the last 25 years creating a wildlife habitat and growing fresh food all year round. They have chickens ducks and a very friendly cat! So unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs.

Another lovely stay at Secret Spot. Steve and Jo have included so many nice touches to make their guests comfortable. Even during a heatwave, the evenings can get cold - the hot water bottles are welcome!

I stayed here with my 4 year old and we loved it! It had absolutely everything we needed. She enjoyed walking to the shower hut and sitting in the chairs on the deck in the morning listening to all the birds. Fully equipt inside for cooking and it was nice to put a kettle in the stove for a cuppa. She didn't want to leave and neither did I! 20min drive to a beach in any direction and although we didn't visit them close to some nice looking pubs.

We really enjoyed our stay — lots of spacious pitches and plenty of room to spread out. The toilet block was great: clean, roomy and with lots of lovely hot showers. The views are beautiful and the walk down to Lee Bay is gorgeous, although we didn’t realise dogs aren’t allowed on the beach, so worth knowing in advance. Lynmouth and Lynton are only a short drive away too, which was ideal.
The only downsides were that the barn wasn’t open for evening food during our stay due to the heat and how busy it was, and we were surprised there were no recycling facilities on site. Having to take all rubbish home could be tricky if you’re staying for a week.
Overall, it’s a good site with great facilities and lovely surroundings.

What a gorgeous campsite! Generous flat pitches, so much space in between, tall grasses with paths mown in between areas. The site is beautiful and beautifully looked after. There is loads of useful local information and no officious laminated signs. The dome was perfection - comfy beds, tons of space, cozy woodstove and plenty of outside space for fires and cooking, etc. Really thoughtful to have picnic tables and benches on each pitch and a supply of firewood. It was just dreamy, all of it.

Excellent campsite with loads of facilities. Great little shop for essentials, fresh eggs, and a cafe with meals and beer and farm made cider on tap.
Lots of variety of animals on the farm safari for little ones to see and horse riding available.
Water in showers was hot and good pressure, lots of space for free camping spots, however ground isn't particularly level if you are fussy

Great pitches, spectacular location, lovely staff and fellow campers, clean kitchen and bathrooms, a useful shop, a cafe with nice cakes and cider, horses, goats, an orchard, and last but not least, Bosun the hound. This was our second time staying here, and it was even more special than the first time.
Every second is something to cherish.
Hosts are lovely, warm and very welcoming. Facilities are outstanding, with communal kitchen and games rooms with had a pool table, air hockey and the means to play table tennis.
The pod was warm, comfortable and homely. We cannot wait to stay again. Perfect getaway.

we went camping in nic and leighs site and it was beautiful, we was the only ones on the camping site but either way it was peiceful and amazing facilites including the comunal fiepit. my kids and my dog loved the area and rubnibg through the trees. the toilets,showers ,game room, the park and the kitchen, was amazing. will 100% be comming again and recommending to others. amazing place to be
