In order to comply with countryside planning policy, we operate as a Greener
Camping Club members-only campsite. The Club was established by people with a passion for sustainable, eco-friendly camping holidays. When you book your holiday with us, you will be enrolled as a member of the Club. Membership costs £12 for the calendar year and gives you access to some of the greenest campsites in the UK. It also includes participation in the Club's 'Trees for Life' scheme, whereby a tree is planted for every member we enrol.

Guests to Rhos y Gallt describe the campsite as a little gem of a site - small, quite and tranquil with wonderful sunsets. The site can accommodate up to 5 caravans and 10 tents situated on a level 2 acre site within the beautiful rolling hills of Montgomeryshire in Mid Wales.
There are hard standing pitches with electric hook-up as well as grass pitches with and without electric hook-up. There is also a field bordering a river which is used for wild camping - but you'll have to share it with the sheep!
The toilet block has a family wet room with shower, toilet, wash hand basin and baby changing unit, a separate toilet, shower and kitchen area with freezer.
The site borders a river meadow where visitors can wonder down and take a walk down with the river bank, relax by the water edge, throw a few skimmers, do a spot of fishing or even go wild water swimming (at your own risk!).
Well behaved dogs are welcome (maximum 2 per unit).
We were delighted to receive a nomination for The Camping and Caravanning Club Best Hideaway Site in 2021 and grateful to our wonderful guests for the nomination.

I stayed on David land and he was very kind and welcoming, I got to know his horse George and muched out the Stall and walked George on his head halter and lead and also was allowed to feed and brush him and clean his hooves, I was very much in my eliminates, wildlife and so much nature

A truly wonderful place to stay amidst a landscape that resonates within the breath of those who love the outdoors. The site is well laid out but still with the feeling of being in the midst of a rewilding experience. The shop, coffee area, market garden are just some of the areas of loveliness to spend time in. The views towards Yns Mons are a joy for the eyes and the soul, all this and more are within a short (but lovely) journey. Total respect for the ethos of this community. Highly recommended

I really enjoy staying Henbant, it is set within a landscape that calms the soul and feeds the spirit. There are various areas to explore and enjoy being apart of something that actually is a positive force for good in the environment. I can highly recommend this site for anyone who enjoys camping.

Nice piece of land with a wild camp feel. I met Dave when I arrived, he seemed like a lovely chap.
The field will be muddy when wet so if you’re in a van beware. I chose to spend my second night on the hard standing as it was very wet and I’m glad I did. Even if I avoided getting stuck I would have churned up the ground pretty badly

Camped for four nights. First two were perfect with a cracking real fire all to ourselves at night under the stars, fresh coffee in the covered barn in the morning and inspiring views of sea and mountains and bright yellow gorse blossoms (April). Second two nights I was on my own and the weather turned gale force winds with heavy rain and hail, but there are plenty of sheltered camping spots surrounded by gorse bushes, so even when some gear took off in the wind it was caught by the bushes and easily rescued. I found a cosy chair in the barn during one of the storms and read from their amazing book collections with the farm cat snuggled up on my knees. Peaceful and restorative for two nights and invigorating for the last two nights. Well built compost toilets with sink and tap and a covered washing up hut with sink and tap made a semi wild camping experience comfortable. Waterproofs are essential when camping in early spring and many layers at night.

It was a fabulous experience. The site is so nicely developed and is very relaxed. All the facilities are really lovely - showers are perfect!. My children loved the woodland walks and just being able to explore safely. I will definitely go back as it is so secluded and yet a nice walk into Pembroke.

Weekend Trip to Felin Uchaf Meadow Camping
This place is so unbelievably whimsical. we stayed in the roundhouse bunkhouse and it was just perfect - even through storm Dave. We woke up to the sounds of animals and the stream just outside our patio each morning and it couldn’t have been any better. The volunteers at Felin Uchaf are just amazing - they keep the place so clean and tidy and it is perfect for anyone to visit. The only thing I would add is we could’ve done with a heater/heated blanket etc as there was a storm when we was there - but that is our own problem for becoming unprepared. I will 100% be returning to this site.
