A peaceful idillc 10 acre organic orchard, set in the Shropshire’s rolling hills.
Nestled away on a quiet country lane, just a short walking distance from Tenbury wells. known as ‘the town in the orchards ‘ .
Our orchard boasts a wide array of native wildflowers, birds and wildlife. regular sightings of Buzzards, red kites, owls, deer, foxes and badges.
On a clear night the orchard is great for star gazing. We have fire-pits on site or you’re welcome to Bring your own.
We welcome you to light a evening fire, howl to the moon, and listen out for the resident owls ‘twittwoo’ in to the night…
We have recently refurbished our site. and now have lovely new facilities for our guests to use in the camp space.
Our pitches are well spread out to ensure families feel safe and private.
We sell our own firewood and our homemade charcoal on site..
We have a pizza oven on site.

Elevated open views over the Shropshire Hills AONB. Red Kites, Buzzards and Kestrels soaring overhead and Sparrow Hawks flashing by. Wild Deer, Pheasants, Rabbits and Hares, all regular visitors to the camp fields. Nature is very close here if you are quiet and watch. We are in a "Dark Skies" zone so star watching is a must. A small "Eco Friendly Site" with a low carbon target. Camping with modern touches. Power is generated from Solar-PV and all pitches have access to Hookup should you need it. The camp has open plan pitches to enhance the views (Pls book hardstanding in wet weather) All Weather 365 Hardstanding pitches. Great for winter or bad weather. If the weather turns bad you can upgrade after arrival (subject to availability)
To preserve the quiet, safety and grass hygiene we no longer accept dogs.

Approved Fire-Pits, available for hire may be used at the pitch.
Check-in is between 3pm and 7.30pm unless early arrival is pre-booked. If you are late please telephone reception. For your security, a time locked access gate operates after 7.30pm. Pass code provided after check-in for 24/7 access.
The Industrial Revolution World Heritage site started in Shropshire in the 1790s, with many UNESCO sites nearby to visit. Mines on the Stiperstones are good for trekking.
** The National Trust now operates (March 26) the Birthplace of Industry. Blists Hill Victorian town (54acres) and the 10 local museum sites. These ten sites include Enginuity, Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron, and the Jackfield Tile Museums as well as 35 other buildings. All free for members.

Guests to Rhos y Gallt describe the campsite as a little gem of a site - small, quite and tranquil with wonderful sunsets. The site can accommodate up to 5 caravans and 10 tents situated on a level 2 acre site within the beautiful rolling hills of Montgomeryshire in Mid Wales.
There are hard standing pitches with electric hook-up as well as grass pitches with and without electric hook-up. There is also a field bordering a river which is used for wild camping - but you'll have to share it with the sheep!
The toilet block has a family wet room with shower, toilet, wash hand basin and baby changing unit, a separate toilet, shower and kitchen area with freezer.
The site borders a river meadow where visitors can wonder down and take a walk down with the river bank, relax by the water edge, throw a few skimmers, do a spot of fishing or even go wild water swimming (at your own risk!).
Well behaved dogs are welcome (maximum 2 per unit).
We were delighted to receive a nomination for The Camping and Caravanning Club Best Hideaway Site in 2021 and grateful to our wonderful guests for the nomination.

Absolutely love this place and its surroundings!
Took my eldest daughter and 2 of her friends for their first proper camping trip and they loved it.
Nice walks along the river and the lakes and waterfalls all within an hours drive made a super weekend for us!
John was great also, greeting us with a fire pit and firewood for the stay.
The neighbours, who are regulars, were absolutely lovely too.

There is a large lake within a few minutes walk of the site, absolutely gorgeous scenery
Toilet & shower block nice and clean, separate bins available for recycling, access to microwave and kettle also
Owner John is lovely & helpful, brought our firepit & logs over quickly
Really recommend, had a brilliant night

Such a fab place to spend a few days. Absolutely beautiful. Loved the river and the facilities are just what I need. Also loved the addition of a kettle (for mornings so cold my stove wouldn’t work!), microwave and fridge freezer. Also plugs so you can charge phones etc. Lovely clean toilet and shower block. I’ll definitely be back!

Timothy's field was perfect for our group of 9. He has a huge field and we could choose where we wanted to camp within. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, and we followed Tim's recommendations to visit the Long Mynd for a 3hr walk and swim in the wild swimming spot, as well as the Stiperstones Inn for a delicious dinner. A highlight was visiting the Nipstone Rock (10 min walk from the site) at sunset, which had breathtaking 360 degree views. We were only there for one night but wished we could have stayed longer! We'll definitely be back, thank you so much!

Great campsite for easy walk into Knighton. Clean facilities. Hot showers, fridge and freezer and washing up areas. Didn't like the noise of the railway. Also didn't like the bird sing song in the morning. But what do you expect when you're in the countryside! But they're the only negatives. So a very good campsite otherwise.

Lovely area, beautiful and quaint. The pod was efficient enough bed and space. Only thing we did not like was the fact there was no window and the door (stable door type) had to be left a jar for air circulation. But the hosts we very accommodating. The compost toilet one of the best so far. Wasn't really keen with the shower door being connected to their property which meant we as a family felt uncomfortable using the shower room. But overall decent for a roof over our head whilst we explored.

This was an excellent camping location with so much to offer! We really enjoyed the beauty of the farm and the surrounding land. At night you can see all the stars you want! Treflach farm offers a number of amenities, with a stocked kitchen (utensils/single stovetop/fridge and freezer/etc.) and lovely bathrooms that you can shower in as well! Definitely check out the 24/7 farm shop after your stay for some delicious, local bites : )
