We had a great time glamping in Pridie's fields. It was very relaxing and lots of fun. The facilities were good.

3 nights at Camping at The Hollies

Paid a midweek (Tues-Fri) visit to the Hollies- yet another enjoyable time there. Hit lucky again with superb weather conditions, superb spotless toilets and showers, friendly family members call round to check if firewood is needed, and that all is OK. Pizza man was stocking up for the weekend (Fri-Sun) friendly chap and reviews for what he sells are all good. Look forward to my next visit to this superb site, next chance I get. Weekend Trip to Shire Camping

Harry was the perfect host! He met us at the site entrance when we arrived and showed us to our pitch. The pitches are huge with plenty of space around them which makes the site feel private and quiet. It is in a beautiful location with two lovely villages within walking distance and lots of other attractions a short drive away. The toilets and washing facilities are basic and clean. We loved the minimal impact on the environment. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and return.

A great site close to Chee Dale/Monsal Trail, had a great bank holiday weekend here, the only let down being the weather (typical). Would definitely recommend and come back again in the future! Toilets were very clean and maintained regularly. Thanks for a great stay!

Weekend Trip to Henbant Permaculture Farm + Camp

Beautiful camping spot in the Black Mountains. Loved the separate pitches in the meadow, with plenty of space for the kids to run around. The swing and the stream were a hit for the kids, and lovely walks from the campsite. The facilities were basic, but fine for our needs and perfectly clean. Thank you for sharing your lovely farm.

Absolutely amazing spot in the valley with great views of the sea and some spectacular sunsets. The site itself is full of things to explore and little hidden spots, it’s really laid back and chill and the on site shop and facilities are great. Such a great find, will return again!

Weekend Trip to Bolmynydd Camping Park

Fantastic campsite in a really great location. The site itself was lovely kept and facilities exceptionally clean - by far the best facilities we have come across yet. We arrived late so rang the number as requested and the lady was helpful regardless of the awkward late check-in. She did mention I should have received my pitch number pre arrival, which I had but didn’t realise as it was sent from the campsite itself and not through the booking agent, Hipcamp - something to look out for if you’re planning a stay. The beach was a 10 minute walk down a lovely lane, easily done with my small children. The beach itself is beautiful and had a lovely little bar/restaurant which sold Vegan ice cream which was a bonus for a plant based family!! They don’t sell fire wood/kindling onsite but the garage down the road sells it. Worth picking some up en route. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future, thanks so much :)

Gwersyllfa Glyndŵr Campsite

Gwersyllfa Glyndŵr Campsite is a small, peaceful, family run and adult only site for walkers and cyclists. Located within walking distance of the historical market town of Machynlleth, we're a great base for exploring all that rural Mid West Wales has to offer. We're on the Glyndŵr National Walking Trail and the Wales Coast Path. There are many cycling trails of all levels nearby - from the Lon Las and Dyfi Bike Park to Ystwyth and Elan Trails. A short bus ride from us are the Snowdonia National Park, Cader Idris and beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay. Our guests love the outdoors but like a little relaxation at the end of a day's activities, so we offer a some home comforts in the communal camping facilities barn which has a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, microwave and washing up area as well as an indoor seating area on the mezzanine level. Hot showers and toilets are available in the wet rooms also situated in the barn. You can unwind under the stars in the communal campfire area next to the camping field. There's an outdoor sink on the camping field for cleaning muddy gear and a place to clean your bike if needed. The nearby town offers independent shops, an art gallery and historical buildings. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, grocery shops and a petrol station where you can top up on supplies. You'll get the best of both worlds at this secluded campsite which overlooks the Dyfi Valley's stunning scenery whilst being within stone's throw of local amenities.
