Off the beaten track on top of the Mendips in an area of outstanding natural beauty. A mixture of four acres of wild woodland, orchard and field set on a hillside. Our Yurt is set up in the trees giving you peaceful seclusion and a clear view across the sea to Wales and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. The Yurt is big and sleeps up to four very comfortably. It has its own stove and outside is a washroom just for you with hot shower , toilet and sinks. Your own meadow allows you to just relax and be. Up on the campfield you can bring your own tent or hire a Belle tent from us with all the fittings to camp contentedly. Our new Wash House has hot showers, flushing toilets and basins. You can light a fire and cook up a BBQ or maybe just watch the world go by. A huge range of activities are possible or you can lie in the hammock with a good book. We have very friendly dogs and rescue chickens who may come and visit. Wild deer wander past in the early morning mist and the odd buzzard picks an argument with a bunch of crows but nothing much else should disturb you. We moved here after an 18 month search 11 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

A very warm welcome to our guests at Little Eden, a restful and relaxing, riverside campsite for tents and campervans with grass pitches. We’re in a great spot if you love fishing, kayaking, gorge walking, cycling, seasides, fossil hunting, wild swimming, fell running, bird watching, archaeology or even Viking history! We are 9 miles from the mystical Glastonbury Abbey and Tor and directly on a Sustrans 33 cycle path route. The River Brue runs alongside the campsite with damsel flies fluttering by and kingfishers darting back and forth. We are on the Somerset levels so the sunsets are amazing as well as night time stargazing. We have a private, wooden jetty where you can launch your own paddle board. It’s a perfect get away for campers and nature lovers. Bring your own raised BBQs and logs or buy firewood on site. A family run campsite around 30 miles south of Bristol on the banks of the River Brue, it has a relaxed vibe and we try to keep things simple and straight forward. It’s ideal for doing some day trips nearby, then lighting the BBQ and playing Frisbee (games box you are most welcome to use). Beautiful site right on the river. Well spaced pitches and a wonderfully hot shower! Left to do as you please, clean facilities and easy to access. We had a fantastic time kayaking down the river and appreciated the toiletries available in the bathrooms. Would 100% stay again and very sad to have left!

Weekend Trip to Oxwick Farm

My partner and I have a crazy 2026 Resolution to camp at least one night per month all year. We work in Bristol, and booked Oxwick due to its easy access location from us as we were leaving after work on a Friday. We arrived to Oxwick Farm in the evening sunshine and were in awe! The grounds are gorgeous, and driving past the old 1702 Georgian main house was quite breathtaking. Catherine was so quick and friendly to respond to my messages, and we were welcomed by Nigel on arrival who gave us a quick tour, and invited us to poke around. The venue is really fun - it is also used for festivals (Inglefest - which we will be looking into) and also is equipped for weddings (which would be gorgeous). Bohemian, relaxed country vibes. Very pretty! They have glamping pods on sight which are so cute inside, and they have an outdoor ‘kitchen/barn’ which is fully equipped for making a full dinner (put our jetboil to shame, although I am not complaining because there is nothing quite like having a kettle for coffee in the morning 20m from your tent, I must say. We actually ended up with the whole place to ourselves, and spent a lovely evening watching the sunset, and calm morning reading. What a way to tick off our May camp! Thank you Nigel & Catherine for sharing with us. Definitely visit if you get the chance!

We arrived late due to a delay on the A36 but arrived at 10pm. We was able to find our space easily and set up. People were friendly and it was very chill.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The indoor skate park is an incredible feature, and we had a great time in the tree net and playing big chess. We stayed in the lovely converted horsebox and it had everything we needed. I would happily visit again to stay for a weekend or along Offa's Dyke Path.

Wookey Farm was an absolute delight! We visited on a sunny April day and it was so peaceful, with the sounds of birds and farm animals all around us. The land is beautifully maintained and everything was very clean. Such a relaxing escape, would highly recommend! And the goats were incredibly friendly, which made it even more special 🐐💛

Weekend Trip to Romantic Country Glamping

The shepherds hut was fabulous. Lovely quiet, rural location with some excellent dog walks close by. The hut itself was well appointed with fantastic ‘extras’: a fresh crusty loaf, eggs from the owners chickens, butter, milk, huge marshmallows for toasting, biscuits, jam, etc. Great fire pit with wood and firelighters. The hit has an ensuite bathroom with flushing toilet and hot shower. The bed was really comfortable and extra blankets are provided for chilly nights, plus a wood-burning stove and a plug in heater if needed. There is a regular fridge, with ice-box and a 2-burner gas hob for quick fry-ups. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place - we had a fantastic stay.

Just returned from an outstanding stay at Wookey Farm campsite. The grass pitch we booked could not of been better spacious, level, incredible views, its own fire pit area tucked away but adjoining the pitch. Loos were great best kept composting toilets if seen. Quiet yet relaxed site decent farm shop and great walks. We will be back need to try out the communal wood fired oven next time 👍

Had an absolutely magical two night stay here for our anniversary. The bed is super comfy. The bath was so relaxing I'm afraid it might have ruined every other bath for me from here on out! The outdoor shower is superb, I've never felt so relaxed and energised. The area is absolutely beautiful, we went for a walk on the gorgeous bluebell woods and the woodland commons. Hostess was super friendly and helpful, I can't recommend it enough.

We loved Noxon Farm! The facilities were lovely and it was a wonderful adventure to walk into the woods, make broomsticks, roll balls down the bike ramp, and play in the stream.
