7 nights at Farrs Meadow

We loved it. The meadow is beautiful and during our week in May we awoke to the sound of cookoos every morning - joy. We were in the smaller Yurt which was really warm and comfortable. David was really available and bought us wood for the fire when we needed. Classic camping and a wonderful escape from the city! Thanks David.

1 night at Wolford Wood Camping & Cabins

We stayed in the glade glamping huts. On arrival we were greeted by Petra who is super friendly and helpful. Thr glade huts are lovely and comfortable and offer everything you need , they are set in a private area so you feel like you're in your own little woodland retreat with lovely views over a meadow with beautiful grey horses as neighbours. We loved the fire pits and egg chairs.

We loved our stay at Dorothy at Hendred Farm Huts. The hosts were brilliant and made sure that if we needed any help they would be available. The hut was immaculate and well stocked up. We would rebook in an instant, could not recommend more highly. Thank you guys so much for the great experience!

2 nights at Celtic Woodland Holidays

We stayed in Epynt and had a lovely couple of days. It was basic but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Double bed was very comfortable and the kids liked staying on the bunkbeds. The view from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sun set. We found it warm enough so didn’t need to use the log burner. The communal kitchen was great and the games room was a very welcome addition.

Really enjoyed our stay in Poplys. The podcast was comfortable, warm and well equipped and the whole site was pretty and well thought out, with a good "amenity hub" which is particularly useful in inclement weather. The only slight issue we had was we found the temperature of the showers to be inconsistent and they seemed to start off warm but quite quickly get much colder. It should also be noted that the owners' dogs are free to wander the site which may be a concern for people who are nervous of dogs: one of them made my daughter and I jump when it appeared from the veranda of our pod as we returned one night from the bathroom (although it was perfectly friendly) and the other dog, which was more nervous, was by our car on two occasions when we wanted to access it and barked at us as we approached the car - it did back off when we got closer but some people might find that unnerving. Overrall we had a lovely stay and I'd be happy to return and also to recommend it to others.

Straightforward check in and clear instructions given prior to arrival. All the stuff that you need is readily available. And the view waa splendid.

Weekend Trip to Hendred Farm Huts

Beautiful setting, beautiful shepherds hut! Such a comfy bed and only a few minutes walk to a lovely pub with delicious food. The views are stunning and the shepherds hut is beautifully furnished. Wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend!
