A small family run campsite located on the famous ice cream farm, Roskilly’s. On the Lizard in South West Cornwall, the farm is remote and tucked away with a Cornish feel, yet there is plenty to do.
The farm has a vast array of animals that you can feed, a large woodland and ponds walk where the cows may be grazing. There are also many stunning beaches and Cornish fishing villages a small walk or drive away. We have a restaurant offering lovely food all day from breakfast to dinner.
During the summer season there is also live music performed by local bands on selected evenings.
Our campsite offers large grass pitches for tents and camper vans as well as a pristine toilet and shower block and communal area.

The site is a unique woodland valley folded around a clear, spring-fed lake created from the old Tregildrans Quarry. Our tipis and tent pitches are dotted about this secret 20 acres full of ferns, bluebells, oak and meadowsweet.

We established CTH in 1996. This was the first and we believe still is the best tipi holiday site in the UK. We know our area inside out and can always help with local knowledge or contacts if you need them.
We want to offer our guests a sustainable holiday. A return to real camping means the lowest possible impact on the land and environment - our tipi poles don’t even break the surface of the earth. Your footprint while here could only be bettered by a survival expert. Such a magical and beautiful campsite. Nestled within a small private woodland you feel like you're in another world. Quiet, serene and private with everything you need for an off grid getaway. The hosts were incredible and took us on a tour of the site. As we were the only ones staying at this time we got the pick of what we felt was the best spot. (You'll have to find out when you go) The site was operating a no fire rule as was the Devon county rules at the time of our stay due to the threat of wildfires, however there would have been firewood and kindling for sale in the little honesty shack. On offer were freshly laid eggs from the hosts, leaflets for the local area, and all the local wildlife to look out for. The site features large plots and most use a communal compost toilet and solar shower bags. These were clean and easy to operate and no hassle at all. If you want secluded and private woodland in a magical setting then look no further. One of the best campsites we've ever stayed at and will be recommending to all our friends. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!!

Such a peaceful and beautiful campsite! Pitching up right among the wildflowers in the Blackdown Hills was absolute bliss. The site strikes the perfect balance between wild camping and thoughtful facilities, great warm showers in the converted horsebox, clean compost toilets, and private pitches well spaced apart.
The cafe on-site is fantastic, too, make sure to grab a fresh cream tea before you leave! Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to properly switch off. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful camp site, peaceful and the views are stunning! Richard is a top host and will do absolutely anything for you if you need. Very friendly, very clean, perfect spot for if you want quiet & relaxing vibe. We will 100% be back next year! The kids loved every minute of it, and made some lovely friends.

Lovely camping in an old forest, pitches are distant from each other, so it is perfect if you want privacy and silence. Deer wandering through the camp. Really good rustic toilet and shower structure. And the owners were really kind and welcoming. 10/10 will come again.

My partner and I stayed here a week but could easily have stayed so much longer! We found ourselves right at home amongst a really lovely down to earth community of people. Willow has done such a fantastic job of creating a wildlife haven here. So many animals and birds. Every night we fell asleep to the soundscape of tawny owls and crickets. A lot of the facilities have a rustic, homemade feel and are powered by solar and wind, so if that's you're vibe, then you'll love it. Hot showers and fire pits available. It's a great place to base yourself for exploring that part of Cornwall. We will be back!

Idyllic campsite with acres of space, we saw deer, clouded yellow butterflies and enjoyed an incredibly peaceful stay in the Smokey Hole field. Hot showers, composting toilets and running water close by and because the ground was very dry we were able to drive right up to the camping spot to unload. I highly recommend Goren Farm if you want to relax and get away from the world.

Excellent site! Amazing views to wake up to on a morning. Lovely walk down to the lighthouse, could see the sunset and the moon rise at the same time.
Will definitely be back.
Didn't try the showers, but they looked pretty good. Although charging a quid for 3 minutes seems pretty tight for hot water. Maybe like 5 mins would give time for a better wash.
Toilets in our field were portaloos which were alright, not the best, but did the job and were cleaned and topped up. Might be better with a couple of extra considering the size of the field.

Such a beautiful site, well kept and very helpful owners. I would highly recommend a stay here for a close feeling to nature and for being very isolated, its as close to wild camping as you can get! Julian was fantastic at recommending local walks of the area and some fantastic cider is produced at Goren farm. I will definitely be coming back again!

What space and what friendly people!
The campsite is extremely basic, with a compost toilet, small fridge, shower, washing-up area, and the possibility to charge your phone. There is a swing for children.
This was more than enough for us to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing holiday.

Just got back from a 3 night stay at Bredy Farm. We stayed in the Orchard and found it to be peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant was sadly not open Sunday/Monday/Tuesday nights but it looked beautiful. Compost loos in the mead field were fine and the outdoor showers were rustic but worked well. Our dog loved jumping in the steam that runs between the fields and it was great to have a campfire and do some star gazing with no light pollution. We had a really great time and recommend the campsite for a peaceful break Sunday-midweek.
Apparently Friday/Saturdays have a very different party vibe!!!

If you like space, this site is fab. We were also able to camp to avoid the morning sun on our tent which meant no more getting up at 6am!! Facilities clean and the kids loved the rope swing and tyre swing.

Lovely, peaceful site. The fields were flat and the site didn't feel overcrowded at all. The facilities were very clean and well kept. The tiny shop was well stocked - great to be able to buy milk and fresh meat each day. The wood fired pizzas on Saturday evening were delicious too!

The adventure starts at the driveway, Jurassic Park on the Jurassic Coast!!
Campsite was fantastic, facilities were immaculate and the showers were amazing!
Treat yourself at the on site shop too, ice cream and lollies went down a treat.
Take a walk down to the ford, soul cleansing, perfect spot too cool, calm & wind down.
Prey for a clear sky at night, might be a little chillier but it will be worth it, ive never seen so many stars!
10/10 Superb.

When to go
The most popular time to hike the South West Coast Path is from April through September, but the trail is accessible year-round. Come in spring to spot lambs and colourful wildflowers or in summer to swim at the beaches and admire the headlands blanketed in purple heather. Warm clothes and wet weather gear are essential for autumn and winter hikes, but this is also one of the best times for bird-watching. Book at least three months in advance if visiting in July-Aug.
Know before you go
- The South West Coast Path runs for 630 miles from Minehead in Somerset to Poole Harbour in Dorset. Most towns along the trail are easily reached by public transport, and baggage transfer services are available for hikers on multi-day walks.
- Although the trail has some remote sections, longer hikes typically pass through towns where you will be able to buy groceries and stock up on water supplies.
- Most campsites require advance booking, and many ask for the full payment in advance. Be sure to check opening dates, as many campsites close in the winter months.
- Wild camping is illegal throughout Cornwall.
