Comfortable, inviting, warm and modern. The huts are somewhere great to escape to.

Set in beautiful surroundings it was easy to feel a great sense of peace here.

Comfortable bedding which made for a great nights sleep.

Opening the blinds from a deep sleep to a new day looking over the fields and trees in front of you is a great way to start things off right.

When the day draws to a close, the huts are illuminated making the whole place feel much more special.

Tree lined walks and plenty of wildlife on offer at Hendred Farm Huts.

With a lovely kitchen area on hand it made cooking and meals so much more easier.

Making the most of the outdoor space, the owners have really thought well about energy use and kitted the huts out with solar panels.

Plenty of local friends are keen to say hello.

Haybridge Wharf Farm

Our meadow in the rolling Oxfordshire hillside has a beautiful view of fields and the Oxford canal. It has dark skies and a stunning show of stars. Peaceful, quiet and secluded, a perfect place to escape from the pressures of daily life.
The field is fenced in and has hedgerows and a baby woodland. 
You can enjoy hiking, walking, cycling and exploring this interesting part of the world, or head to any of the local pubs to refresh.

Our location has the best of both worlds, your shepherd hut is located in an ancient Roman village in the Oxfordshire countryside, yet just 5 miles from the centre of Oxford with all its history and university colleges. If you choose you can compliment your stay with an indulgent shopping trip to Bicester Village premium outlet (11m) or Blenheim Palace (8m) with all its history and events on offer. Jeremy Clarksons Diddly squat farm (21m) and his new public house have also become popular with our guests. If walking or running is more your focus then why not explore the beautiful RSPB Otmoor bird reserve, a haven for wildlife with many visitor trials to enjoy, it’s merely a short walk away. Whatever your visit has in store our cosy pub, The Abingdon Arms, is waiting only 100metres walk away, offering fine ales and fine dining or perhaps just a take away pizza.

A small family run site in Weston-on-the Green village located with a local pub 5 minutes walk away and on site cafe. The site also has newly refurbished toilet and shower facilities. Amazing location to access Oxford city and easy access to M40 (Junction 9).

Good things await for those who grab a berth at Weston Caravan and Campsite, in the Oxfordshire village of Weston-on-the-Green. For starters, space seekers should be pleased to see that there’s plenty of breathing room around this former dairy farm – excellent news for kids or dogs that need a bit of haring-about time after being cooped up in the car. Depending on where you’ve plonked down you may find that your nearest neighbours are the resident beef cattle, sheep or horses; it’s worth keeping your eyes open for sightings of the hedgehogs that often scuttle about the place too. Perhaps most crucially for those whose stomachs dictate a site’s success is the presence of a café that serves up a tempting range of freshly cooked goodies: breakfasts (no rush – they’re served all day), salads, cakes and coffees, plus cheeses, pies and the like to take away. And the crème de la crème – literally: homemade ice cream in up to 16 (yes, a lipsmacking 16) different flavours. Evening appetites can be sated with a barbecue out on the field, or trotting off to the local pub five minutes’ walk away. The site added a new toilet and shower block in 2018. And how to get to this little slice of rural loveliness? The village is just a few minutes’ drive from the A34 and Junction 9 of the M40, making it both a useful stopover on cross-country voyages and a handy spot for Oxfordshire breaks (perhaps taking in Oxford, Blenheim Palace or bagging bargains in Bicester).

Shotover Country Park Wild Camping

Our 7 acre property is a mixture of woodland and meadows with a fresh water spring and several fruit and nut trees. It is wild and mysterious with amazing sunsets and we are just a stones throw away from Shotover Country Park, which is the real Narnia. C S Lewis lived on the edge of Shotover woods and so we can fairly assume that Shotover is the inspiration for the Narnia trilogy. Shotover Country Park is one of Oxfords best kept secrets and consists of 280 acres of freely accessible woodland and open countryside. It is a paradise for dog walkers, horse riders and cyclists and also has natural sandpits for children to enjoy. 

We will be offering woodland rides from this location in 2026 as we need to do some fencing work first.

Goosey Paddock

Welcome to our little paddock with a slither of woodland to the side. The field is basic wild camping with no facilities! This is wild camping!! There is a riding centre; Asti Stud just around d the corner and delicious good available at the fox pub 1.5 miles away. The market towns of Wantage and Faringdon are a few miles away for supplies!
