Weekend Trip to Hastingford Fishery Glamping
A wonderful host, a stunning view, birds everywhere, my first view of a kingfisher in my 56 years of life, every comfort and a lovely lake just in front with a whole assortment of ducks. Just wonderful.

Lovely sheltered meadow with 6 or 7 bell tents nicely spaced out. You can have basic or comfort tent and a variety of extras can be provided by Kelly on request.
Excellent shower/loo facilities cleverly sited in a converted horsebox beside a little kitchen area - all with loads of instant hot water.
Each tent has its own area for dining/camp fires but there is also a communal campfire and bbq.
Set in the heart of the countryside but within a 5/10 min drive of some pubs, Hastings and the coast, with something for everyone in the surrounding area.
We loved it!! Signed 'young at heart' Granny, daughter + 4 grandchildren.

Very hilly but this was a great thing for us as it’s adds to the privacy you have from other campers. Showers were great but toilets needed some work (a couple of the doors were broken).
Huge woods surrounding the campsite for lovely walks. Would definitely recommend.

We had a really nice stay at Charles’s campsite. It was well organised with facilities for showering, proper flushing toilets and washing dishes as well as access to a fridge. We rented a fire pit and logs which makes the camping experience even better. It was a relaxed campsite with kids able to run around and make friends. We would stay here again.

Our second time here, we love the space, great facilities with clean toilets and showers, a huge fridge to store any food/drinks in. We were lucky to have some great people around us also staying there and plenty of place for the kids to run around and play. Extra bonus now it is dog friendly! The sky at night is so clear, I sat and watched the stars for hours with a fire pit cackling. We will be back again next year.

It’s one of the best camp sites I’ve been to and the pitches are in the woods, make a nice change from sitting in someone’s field, plus good shade when it’s hot.

Stunning location! The view was fantastic and there was some lovely walking routes around to local landmarks and pubs. The hut was great, plenty of storage and well equipped with everything you need.

Amazing shepherds hut with outstanding views of the surrounding area and lake. The hut itself was immaculately clean and has all you need within. Mark and Geraldine are really lovely! So helpful and kind.

Great campsite - toilets and showers were great, clean, large and hot water. Comfortable tent, it was huge! And then mattress was really comfortable. All the facilities couldn’t fault. Would definitely recommend this campsite
Only negative is that it could be easier to find as not on google maps.

I loved camping here at Fontmills, very friendly owners/staff, super helpful & welcoming. Very clean facilities with warm showers on site. Couldn’t recommend this campsite enough! Amazing!

We had a great time here. The facilities were faultless and there was a great variety of places to pitch your tent. It is quite hilly and finding a flat pitch isn’t the easiest, but it did mean the views were nice and each area felt secluded.
