The glamping space is approximately 10x12, with a queen size log bed and wide rustic cedar plank flooring. The “stall” to the north houses an outdoor shower and sauna. There are a great many restaurants and spas nearby if you would like recommendations let us know. Please note that we do allow pets but they MUST be leashed at all time to protect our farm animals. The pull through RV space is on asphalt and has a 50amp hookup and water hookup, but no dump. Our property is nestled in between a flower farm, blueberry farm and dairy farm, and backs-up to the Skykomish River. Summer includes herds of heifers ranging the north. Minutes to amenities in "Old" town Duvall and swimming holes on the Snoqualmie River. Our family has lived and worked this farm since 1912. Originally the fields were used to grow peas (1940's), dairy (1950-1960's), black angus (1970-1980's), hogs & dairy replacement heifers (1990's) & fresh culinary herbs for the grocery stores (last 20 years). Every year our fields flood and hold at least 3 feet of water, hence we only offer seasonal camping. Weekend Trip to Simple Roots Ranch

We absolutely loved this Hipcamp. It was our anniversary weekend. The first night, it was my husband and I. It was a lovely romantic retreat with the grounds, lightning and a cute cabin to be cozy in. Our second night our 5 and 7 year old joined us. They loved it too! The kitchen was perfectly stocked with the necessities for cooking. We ate most meals out as the spot was only 10 minutes from the cutest town with great food. We made brioche French toast the morning with kids and they got to explore the gardens picking some blackberries to spread on the French toast. The s’mores set up, shared you basket for kids and jam muffins were a great touch. Even with rain, the space was perfect to read books, make outdoor breakfast and explore the grounds with raincoats. I suggest bringing easy to put on shoes to maneuver to the restroom in the middle of the night. I will be adding this spot to my faves list!

We enjoyed our time during our stay at ELKS Beach, and wished we could have stayed another day. The private lake front was perfect while the sun was out! The property was just enough for us two, I'd say max 4-5 people, depending on your set up. We tucked our tent closer to the building since it was where it was mostly leveled. Having a picnic table and chairs already there was such a bonus! Less for us to pack. Along with the other amenities they offered as add-ons. Loved the rental SUP and the fishing poles. Having a campfire would've made it even more special but we had a burn ban. We do appreciate the lights already on site. I'd be mindful of the stairs for anyone who has different accessibility needs. We didn't mind the walk from the car/portapotty to the site. It seemed safe as there's always traffic of people for the trail. But def bring your wagons! I'm a light sleeper so the waves crashing from boats was unexpected for me but my partner slept through that white noise cozily. Thank you again to the host, who was super helpful in every way. We plan to visit again for sure!

2 nights at McMurtrey Farm

We’d definitely stay again, when we come down for a show. The sites were all clean, as were the porta-potties. It was quiet, even though close to the road. The sites themselves aren’t private but the view of trees & flowers is nice. Jana greeted us when we arrived, explained how to navigate the trail to Chateau Ste Michelle. And, Pablo checked into make sure we knew how to navigate the trail. We walked the unpaved part from the farm to NE 143rd St & decided we hadn’t planned well enough to walk to/from the winery since the ground was pretty uneven in some spots. Recommend sturdy shoes, a good headlamp & enough time to walk - it’s about 1.5 mile walk each way.

We enjoyed our stay on Stephanie’s Novelty Hill Farm. Right on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail (30 mile rail trail!) and the Snoqualmie River. The camping area was quiet, but the cute town of Duvall is close enough for all your needs. We stayed for 2 nights and explored the Cascades nearby. Our dog enjoyed pretending to be a farm dog for a couple of days!

Weekend Trip to Novelty Hill Farm

We stayed here only one night on a family bike-packing trip. The site was nice and as advertised with easy to follow directions and a well marked sign from the highway. We met the host’s mother, Jeanette, on our ride in and she was very kind. During the summer months when the farm stand is operational, they let us use the flush toilets at the barn, which also had a spigot for water. Really saved us as we had run out of water on our ride and were prepared to send someone out to get some. It seems like there would be plenty to explore. My son remembered taking a field trip here to pick a pumpkin in the fall. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful spot. We took our young kids here as a teeny step into camping. They swam all day, fished in the evening, and we wrapped it up with dinner and games. There were some annoying neighbors in the evening, which is of course out of their control, but besides that it felt nice and private. There will be some street noise, but I actually appreciate that a bit to ease the kids into camping. Communications from the owner was super quick and so helpful.

If you need somewhere to camp close to Seattle this is a great location. As stated in the description you need to be self sufficient, so only really suitable if you have a trailer. The hosts were friendly and shared some lovely local wine. It’s in a quiet part of the city, but close to restaurants and bars etc.
