We are a pop-up campsite, which means we are open most weekends during the summer with some longer stints at the beginning and at the end of our season. We offer different activities each weekend, varying from damper bread making to wild food walks and bush craft skills. CAMPFIRES We love campfires and see them as an integral part of the camping experience. Campfires bring people together at the end of the day, to cook, socialise and relax. The smell of the wood smoke at twilight and the excitement on the kids faces when the marshmallows come out are bound to set you up for a perfect night away from the city lights! We sell crates of firewood, and hire fire pits for you to use during your stay. MUSIC The Lower Fields are for quiet camping. We would like it to be the perfect place for children to sleep and adults to chitchat around the campfires. On the Upper Field and near the Centre Camp we do allow you to listen and enjoy any music. But please respect your fellow campers! We want everybody to be able to enjoy their weekend without being disturbed. We ask for quiet across the whole site from 11.30pm. Overall we are quite a sociable site, with things happening at center camp every weekend. and a public campfire to sit around for a few mins after your sauna. We have a great area for large family groups. We pride ourselves on helping new campers get the most out of the experience come and hay hello at center camp.

Great site. Amazing woods to walk in and find the rope swings. Showers and toilet at the entrance are ok. Proper toilets in the wild camping field are ok once you get over the size of the spiders. Trolleys provided to get luggage from car to camp site, can be a long walk but worth it. When it’s quiet at night you can hear the pylon nearby. Loved sitting out by the fire pit.

The Barn is the perfect set up for me and my dog. We hiked in from Ashtead Station (under an hour) and just had time for a coffee before 3pm check in. Really lovely and welcoming cafe staff. Everything is provided on the campsite. firewood and charcoal via an honesty QR code, washing facilities, toilets were clean and flushing! We had an amazing relaxing evening by the fire watching the deers and foxes in the fields. Cafe opens 8 which was brilliant because I dropped my cowboy coffee in the fire. Caffeine secured! We found our new favourite place and will be regulars from now on. Felt like being in the wild whilst still in touching distance from London.

Wonderful stay at this rustic retreat! The hot tub was easy to use, super comfortable bed, and (very) nearby pub was delicious - even a free community curry night one evening. We were also able to charge our phones at the pub and send a quick text since the site didn't have sockets/cell service (not a bad thing just something to note)! Unlimited wood and quick responses from Duncan made this an extremely smooth-sailing glamping retreat! Extremely private-feeling as well. Will definitely return for another needed city escape :)

Pitches are well spaced out. Each have a fire pit and a QR code that you can use to order from them shop (I didn’t try it out). I don’t know if I was using the right toilets as there was only one block but no signs for anything else. We were only there a night but would definitely come back.

We loved camping at Hook Farm Campsite. Facilities are basic but perfectly functional (including warm and clean showers), site is quiet and natural. The steep slopes are not ideal, as the mattress moves down while trying to sleep. It is however a great campsite with helpful and friendly staff and management.

We were impressed by The Barn KT9! Charlie was responsive and flexible, they had more facilities than we'd expected and it was a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. The cafe is a lovely addition to the facilities. The location feels very countryside, hard to believe that it is not that far from London! Would highly recommend it.
