On foot, explore the North Norfolk coastal path,it is a long distance national trail stretching from Hunstanton in the west all the way to Cromer in the east, views include Blakeney point, spit,marshes, mudflats ,and water channels where birds and seals are often seen .we have a great bus service along the coastal road so you can walk as far and as wide as you wish.We also have great amenities on your door step, such as great pubs a walk away try The Anchor at morston ,or walk the other way on the coastal path to blakeney where you can find great streetfood, a supermarket ,willie west fish shop with prawn sandwiches to die for .i also recommend you walk to cley which is a charming village it has a cool pub called The George and a lovely bistro called the harnser , i would definitely recommend The Smoke House ,Made In Clay ,The Secondhand Book Shop , and last but not least the famous Picnic farye full of great local vegetables and artisan foods.
You are beautifully placed at agar farm to park the car set up camp and not need your car for the rest of your stay,everything is on your door step

At a crossroads in the village of East Kirkby, The Red Lion has been refreshing travellers since 1841; more recently, it was a favoured watering hole for the men and women of Bomber Command in World War II, and the pub’s décor pays tribute to them. The staff are steeped in the history of the old coaching inn and the nearby airfield, and can point you towards the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, 10 minutes’ walk down the road and on the site of the former Royal Air Force base.
The Red Lion makes a splendid base for aviation and wartime history buffs, with the heritage centre nearby and the displays and memorials of the International Bomber Command Centre a 45-minute drive away. As it’s on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds and around half an hour's drive from the coast, it’s also well placed for walks, stately home visits and wildlife watching.
Most importantly, it’s at the back of a friendly pub (which has varied winter and summer opening days and hours, but is always closed on Mondays). It serves hot food alongside local beers and other refreshing tipples. Canine companions are welcome in the bar (it’d be nice if they bought a drink…) and on the site.
Electric vehicle charging is onsite in the public house car park this is chargeable through an app and full instructions are given for once you have booked and paid for your charging slot,

We purchased this peaceful secluded 15 acre piece of land, consisting of a 3 acre lake, in early 2015.
Our beautiful Log Cabin (KINGFISHER) was completed in May 2017 and the static homes style lodges, (LAVENDER AND SUNFLOWER) in April 2021.
Kingfisher is a more rustic vibe with log burner and oil filled radiators for heating and Lavender and Sunflower are more modern vibe with gas central heating.
Lavender and Sunflower both have ramp access.
They all have their own personal jetty and veranda to fish from. You can also fish anywhere around the lake as we do not allow day tickets.
Kingfisher has 3 bedrooms, so sleeps 3 singles or 3 couples. The other two have 2 bedrooms, so sleeps just 2 singles or 2 couples.
It is such a peaceful haven. All your troubles just disappear when you arrive. The calming beauty of the lake is inspiring.
We want this to become our very own nature reserve, encouraging nesting of all kinds to mature to full potential. We want you to share on our journey and progress along the way. We don’t look on this as a business, but a ‘home from home’.
It is our secretive safe haven, nestled nicely in-between Boston and Skegness in a peaceful surrounding – there is no traffic apart from the occasional Spitfire or Lancaster flying by! Also, depending on what time of year, the occasional combine harvester or tractor working the surrounding fields.
Please note that our fishing village and cabin site are for adults only, no children or pets are allowed. We may welcome well behaved and experienced fishing people from the age of 15 years upwards. Please ask beforehand.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Robins Nest in the middle of August. Although we only stayed for a couple of nights we were able to get the break we were looking for and left with the feeling of having been in the great outdoors. With two young children it was important to us to have the security of a caravan and convenient access to all the facilities needed for a stress free holiday. Our boys (5 and 2) really enjoyed playing in the campsite grounds and exploring the wooded area. The coast was only a short drive away so it was easy to spontaneously nip to a nearby beach whenever we wanted. There was also a fantastic zoo nearby, which provided a stress free, fun and entertaining day out for the family. The friendly campsite owners were welcoming and helpful and had obviously put a lot of thought into providing us with everything we might need for an enjoyable stay.

Campsite had a really lovely family friendly vibe. Location was great with easy access to the village shop. Facilities were super clean and staff very friendly / helpful.

Nice campsite in peaceful rural surroundings with good facilities and a pub next door. Be aware that if you camp on a Sunday the pub closes early in the evening and doesn't serve food after lunch.

I enjoyed my stay at the Red Lion campsite. It's a self-service style campsite as was well organised with gate codes etc. There was plenty of space and options for electric and non-electric, as well as a newly built children's play area.
I choose to stay in one of the non-electric grass pitches which extended right back into the site away from the centre hub, and it was lovely and quiet with beautiful views.
There are also fire pits to rent as well as a pub onsite directly linked with the campsite. The showers were lovely and hot too!

Where to go
Holkham Hall & Around
Within the NNR and south of Holkham village, this majestic early-18th-century, Neo-Palladian house and grounds were created out of formerly wind-blasted land transformed by the planting of thousands of trees. There is a pop-up campsite open between mid-July and mid-September near the lake on this majestic estate. Also on the Holkham Hall grounds is Ambers Bell Tents Glamping at Branthill Farm. Holkham Bay’s pine-backed sands are an easy walk north, where you can connect to the Norfolk Coast Path.
Scolt Head Island NNR
West of Holkham NNR, more of the same sort of coastline continues and here you find the sandy, shingly barrier island of Scolt Head Island NNR. The four-mile-long island is particularly important for its birdwatching and is accessed from either Burnham Overy Staithe or Brancaster Staithe. Deepdale Camping & Rooms at Burnham Deepdale is linked by footpath to the trail out to Scolt Head Island from Brancaster Staithe: pitch up yourself or camp out in already-erected safari tents.
Blakeney & Blakeney Point
At the eastern end of Holkham NNR, charming Blakeney is the village from where you can walk (or get a boat trip) to Blakeney NNR and Point, England’s biggest grey seal colony. Much of this reserve is off-limits to protect the seals, but trails run through the wetlands adjacent. Camping at the tranquil, informal Scaldbeck Cottage Campsite, near the departure point for seal-watching boat trips, is tough to trump.
Hunstanton & Around
Eleven miles west of Burnham Overy Staithe, 19th-century beach resort Hunstanton knows how to give its holiday-makers a good time: fairground, promenade, amusement arcades and aquarium are all here, alongside an array of camping and caravan parks. There is camping fairly centrally at Searle’s Leisure Park (camping tradition here dates back to 1934) but the best pitching is northeast of nearby Old Huntanton at the several sites along the edge of Holme Dunes NNR (more empty beaches, more ethereal dunes).
