I would very much recommend staying here, the owners welcomed me and went through all of the Where's and how's as we as giving me info on the surrounding area. Lovely views and near to a lot of the places you will want to visit.

Just spent three nights in our campervan at Wold Farm. We received a warm and friendly welcome and were invited to choose a pitch anywhere we fancied. It’s a nice, open site and the pitches are spacious. Toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. We knew there were no showers on site but would really have liked some!

Beautiful stop - stayed for one night needing a shower and the facilities were amazing. Tiled bathrooms and 1 separate shower room with a vanity and everything. Lush location and beautifully peaceful - highly recommend

Easy to find lots of space clean facilities. It is a little uneven so keep this in mind and take ear plugs - there were a lot of groups of young people who were noisy until way past 1am

Easy to get to, easy check in, basic amenities but still very good , hot shower, shared toilets but not an issue, only 1 shower so a bit of a wait, but, youre wild camping , nice trekking areas, local pub around 1 mile away, Buxton town centre around 4 miles away, nice and peaceful,

The lady who ran the site was approachable, visited the site twice a day and checked in on us after some epic weather the night before. She even offered us some logs.
Facilities were fine- enough flushing loos for the number of people, and a shower to boot. Cleaned daily.

I took my Grandson for his first ever camping experience to Sweet Knoll. He had a smashing time, and wants to go on holiday again next weekend. Location and views are beautiful. The facilities, whilst basic, are scrupulously clean, and everything you need for a classic camping experience. We didn't hire a firepit this time around, as the weather wasn't amenable, but that's just part of camping in the hills in the UK. Next time, and there will be a next time. We will definitely be back
