The hot tub is fully undercover, making it safe to use in all weathers! There is also enough space for undercover seating. There is a manual provided in the hut which features local attractions and there is a private landscaped parking area located just at the back of the hut. The site is also located on the Leicestershire Round walking route with at least 5 off road walks commencing within 400 yards of the site. Weekend Trip to 7 Ducks Touring and Camping

We camped in a lovely field, with amazing facilities. Clean showers with plentiful hot water, clean toilets and a washing up area. We had an electric pitch right on the edge of the fields with lovely views of the sunset. It wasn't very busy during our stay, so was very peaceful. Close to some great restaurants which were very child-friendly. We paid extra for a campfire each night, but unfortunately, due to the strong winds on our 2nd night, we thought it would be safer to not use this! The campsite manager covered it for us to prevent it getting wet in any case. Lovely place, would definitely stay here again!

A lovely, small campsite. Very peaceful with great views. The farm cat, dog, ducks, peacocks and chickens were a hit with our kids.

This is how open the non-electric pitches area. Plenty of space, and still only a reletively short walk to the bathrooms at the entrance of the site.

My Husband and I really enjoyed our 3 night stay in our campervan the sight is easy to assess and the plots are quite spacious we ate a Sunday lunch in the restaurant which I highly recommend we will definitely be visiting the Red Lion again in the near future.

Weekend Trip to The Hide At Manton Bay

Absolutely loved every minute at the Hide. We stayed at the camp site for two nights. Had our own hedged in area close to the facilities. Hot showers,flushing toilets and washing up area. A beautiful view of the lake and plenty of wildlife. Probably one of the best campsites we've been to, so far. Communication with the host was fantastic. Nice campsite in peaceful rural surroundings with good facilities and a pub next door. Be aware that if you camp on a Sunday the pub closes early in the evening and doesn't serve food after lunch.

Weekend Trip to The Hide At Manton Bay

Incredible view from pitches. Secluded and quiet. Good facilities. Idyllic setting among vines & orchards, rabbits and pheasants seen on site. 2 mins walk to the reserve and fantastic day spent watching ospreys. Exceeded expectations

Weekend Trip to Oxcombe Campsite

Just spend a couple of nights here and its a little bit idyllic, with countryside views and a beautiful little church as a backdrop. Nights have zero light pollution so lay out under the stars for a while and relax. ( we spotted starlink) On site toilets and showers and washing up station.

2 nights at Purple Badger Camping&Fishing Lakes

Great stay at Purple Badger. The facilities were great, and the shower and toilets some of the best i've experienced camping. As a family we enjoyed the space for eating and spending time together under shelter, when not at our tent. The kids enjoyed the Fusball tables and books. Very enjoyable stay and look forward to returning again.

Fenton was a lovely shepherds hut. Fantastic location and surrounded by beautiful nature. Hosts were fantastic, great to have breakfast, coffees and pizzas within 2 mins walk. Loved it.

Weekend Trip to Brook Meadow at The Wrongs Farm

Had a wonderful few days here last week. Spacious site surrounding a fishing lake with the best toilet and shower facilities I’ve ever seen at a UK campsite! Staff were all super friendly and site is very well maintained. It isn’t the cheapest site and it does get busy with families during the summer but it is still excellent
