Situated on 160 acres within Exmoor National Park, campers are encouraged to take advantage of our relaxed, rule-free approach allowing you to pitch wherever you fancy. Sheltered corners and wide open spaces are aplenty suiting everyone from couples to large groups. Panoramic sea views greet every patch of our working farm while CAMPFIRES and DOGS are actively encouraged. If the views bring you, it's the inclusive facilities that'll keep you. Two blocks contain 10 toilets, 7 unlimited hot showers (try these!), laundry, washing sinks, fridge/freezer & a microwave. There are also freshwater standpipes in each field and a chemical disposal point. However, sometimes a shower doesn't hack it. That's where our converted stone Barn Café comes in-complete with Wi-Fi & charging points. Open all day every day, 'The Barn' provides an oasis away from the elements, where you can enjoy everything from breakfast in the garden to dinner by the woodburner. If DIY campfire cooking is more your style, we also have a fully-stocked farm shop onsite providing all the essentials & much more too! Drinks? There's only one choice... a pint o' Caffyns cider. Homegrown on our 3000-tree strong orchard, located next to the campfields, our apples go from picking to pinting without leaving the farm. From sweet to scrumpy varieties there is no better way to try this land's fabled beverage than in our cider bar. For the adrenaline junkies, onsite horse riding allows you to sample Exmoor's scenery from the saddle. Catering to all experience levels, from beginner to advanced, our range of rides (1hr-3hrs) gives everyone the chance to explore with a discount given to those staying with us! Wandering through Caffyns acreage will introduce you to some of the other friendly farmyard 'locals'. Goats (Hint: Goat Cafe?!), alpacas, chickens, turkeys & sheep are all dotted throughout the farm on the way down to the South West Coast Path on our farm's perimeter. The nearest beach is a 20min walk away (Lee Bay) while Lynton & Lynmouth are 45mins.

I picked a special plot, tucked in the corner of a field with far reaching view across the valley! So pleased to have spent anothet night under canvas in this gorgeous part of the Blackdown Hills. Julian is very approachable, making me a lovely cafetiere of coffee in the morning. The plumbed in Shower and WC's are tucked into the corner of the barn, very tidy in a rustic way, and much appreciated. I hope to return again in a couple of weeks .... Thank You Goren Farm!

Lots of space, big views, a fridge and phone charging point in the middle of a field... doesn't get better than that! Clean compost toilets too. And wild flowers... owls, wood peckers and lots more. Lovley shop with farm produce, imaginative products like blackberry balsamic vinegar. Very kind farmer.

Such a peaceful and beautiful campsite! Pitching up right among the wildflowers in the Blackdown Hills was absolute bliss. The site strikes the perfect balance between wild camping and thoughtful facilities, great warm showers in the converted horsebox, clean compost toilets, and private pitches well spaced apart. The cafe on-site is fantastic, too, make sure to grab a fresh cream tea before you leave! Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to properly switch off. Will definitely be back.

Idyllic campsite with acres of space, we saw deer, clouded yellow butterflies and enjoyed an incredibly peaceful stay in the Smokey Hole field. Hot showers, composting toilets and running water close by and because the ground was very dry we were able to drive right up to the camping spot to unload. I highly recommend Goren Farm if you want to relax and get away from the world.

Such a beautiful site, well kept and very helpful owners. I would highly recommend a stay here for a close feeling to nature and for being very isolated, its as close to wild camping as you can get! Julian was fantastic at recommending local walks of the area and some fantastic cider is produced at Goren farm. I will definitely be coming back again!

What space and what friendly people! The campsite is extremely basic, with a compost toilet, small fridge, shower, washing-up area, and the possibility to charge your phone. There is a swing for children. This was more than enough for us to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing holiday.

Just got back from a 3 night stay at Bredy Farm. We stayed in the Orchard and found it to be peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant was sadly not open Sunday/Monday/Tuesday nights but it looked beautiful. Compost loos in the mead field were fine and the outdoor showers were rustic but worked well. Our dog loved jumping in the steam that runs between the fields and it was great to have a campfire and do some star gazing with no light pollution. We had a really great time and recommend the campsite for a peaceful break Sunday-midweek. Apparently Friday/Saturdays have a very different party vibe!!!

We love it at Goren Farm! It was our second time and it was as lovely as it was before. We stayed in Bluebell this time, which had the most beautiful views. The land is gorgeous, and has everything you need including communal warm showers, compost loos, phone charging point and a fridge if needed. It feels so private, which we love. Will definitely come back! And definitely recommend to others.

We had our own, private pitch right beside the river and 200M away from anyone else. Beautifully quiet and secluded with a private beach for direct access to the river. However, be aware that there are NO facilities - no sinks, no showers and (importantly) no phone signal - so if that's what you're looking for, this ain't the site for you.

Excellent campsite, quite literally off the beaten track. Perfect if you're seeking some peace and quiet off grid. Loads of space with options to camp close to others or choose something more isolated (explore the site fully before you pitch). Facilities are very basic, but the trampoline, sauna and hot tub next to the river are excellent additions and make for great entertainment and a good way to wake up in the morning. Charles and his family made us feel very welcome and supplied a potential cleansing tea tree, lavender and salt mix for washing and sauna. Highly recommend visiting Bantham Beach, which is a 20 minute drive away.

Had a great time tent camping at Goren Farm. It was my 3 year olds first time camping away from home and she loved it. The spot was very tucked away with beautiful views out over the hills. Plenty of wildlife to spot and bugs to fine. The little toilet block was great and the washing up station. We didn't use the showers as we were only staying for a night but they looked good. Spot on. Our stay at Bowhayes was wonderful! The tenting pitch area was perfect…quiet, peaceful and private. Howard and Fiona are so friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend staying at their farm! The facilities were great too… covered cafe area, basic kitchen and sink areas and washroom and an amazing outdoor shower!

Amazing campsite!! The owners had thought of absolutely everything needed to make your stay comfortable . I normally don’t go back to sites as always on the look out for different places but I would go back to Caffyns farm time and time again . The views are simply stunning and the walk down to meet the coast path was great fun ! Coming back was interesting in a heat wave but lovely and shaded😅 !! Certainly worked up a thirst for a couple of first class pints of cider sat in the garden of the bar and restaurant .
