There are only 25 pitches available. We have a mid wild pitch on the outskirts of the woods, lovely grassed area between trees. Our top field is perfect for motorhomes & caravans.
Plenty of space to breath and relax. Located on the stunning heathlands of the Sutton Heath. We are surrounded by beautiful woodland walks, including the Sandlings walk and just 10 minutes from the river Deben.
We have a bus stop at the top of the track and Melton train station is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There are access points onto public footpaths, leading to Rendlesham Forest. A famous site for UFOs! Sutton Hoo is a stone's throw away. Bring your bikes and explore the area on wheels.
There is water access and portaloos. We do not have showers yet. Blue/grey waste must be taken away. LEAVE NO TRACE

We had such a lovely stay at this magical campsite. The man at reception, Joe, was incredibly helpful and accommodating to us! such a genuinely lovely person and a great welcome when we arrived.
Because it’s still early in the season, we were actually the only ones staying there, which made the experience feel even more special. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and magical all around. ✨🌲
We decided to drive further into the forest with our van and made use of the wood provided by the campsite. It was really good value for the amount we received and made the whole experience even nicer.
There are lots of great walks all around the area, and we left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed , ready to head back to busy London.
Afterwards we visited the nearby UFO landing site and saw the UFO sculpture, which was great fun and literally just around the corner. 🛸👽✨
We would definitely book this site again. 🌲🚐⭐️

What a wonderful place! Stayed here last night for a solo camp. I love the idea of wild camping but I’m not quite confident enough to go alone. This was the perfect balance because it IS wild camping but with permission. Joe was very helpful and welcoming and the groundsman (I’m not sure of his name) helped me with my camping stove issue. Wonderful walking trails all around, pigs in the field opposite, drinking water and a couple of portals. What more could you want? I’ll be back.

Exactly the experience I wanted, wild camp. We camped down the bottom in the woods end of February, a bit wet so was aloud to have a campfire off the floor. Lots of owls to be heard and woodland behind to explore all the way to Sutton hoo! Excellent quiet just what we wanted, wild camp.

The cabin is perfect!! It was well equipped, everything works well, it’s clean and self sufficient with everything you need for a weekend stay (or more). Mark is also really friendly and helpful! Second time staying here and will be rebooking again soon. Grass pitches are nice and level, the provided portaloo is clean and well maintained. The hosts are super friendly too. On a clear night the stars are amazing, last time I stayed we saw Mars as well as a host of other constellations. Easy for me to get too and a relaxing stay….would definitely recommend

What an amazing find. I love this place. Back to basics, left me alone , the woods to myself , tranquility at its best . Met Mark who brought the wood to me in his 1930s tractor , lovely fella . First of al Mark is a real gentleman and a great man. We stayed as wel in the granery as in the treehouse. Both are realy beautiful places to stay. The granary has more luxure and specialy the woodburner in wintertime is lovely. The treehouse is les luxery but a great cosy place to spend the night.

Mark is a gentleman. His property is lovely. The tree house is very cool. The walk into Elham is only 20 min. My girlfriend and I commuted from London to Marks property without a car. It was more than doable, £25 taxi from Folkestone west train station . Just mentioning this in case other carless people are hesitant. There is an electric cooler, I wish I brought a steak to throw on the fire. Great speaker in the tree house. Even in November with high winds we were warm. Thanks again Mark!

Holistic Woods is exactly that.. the tranquility, no light pollution.. it was amazing, quiet and the first time for as long as I can remember my brain switched off from the noise of life.. can't wait to get back and chill out

We had a great time camping here in early November. It was just us, and the surroundings are really nice. You could hear the nearby road at times but otherwise it was everything you’d like from wild camping. We’ll be back.

Had very chilled 2 nights accept for the wet and windy night and was just me on site, Joe was helpful when arrived, just me and my hammock can’t wait to go back.

We loved the site the toilets clean excellent showers. really nice barn for washing up and chilling in. We had our own pitch/space and was lovely and well maintained area. A nice private walk into southwold that was about 20 minutes to the pier. would recommend. When there was a little problem they didn’t hesitate to help and sorted it all out. ☺️ overall wonderful place to stay.
