There are only 25 pitches available. We have a mid wild pitch on the outskirts of the woods, lovely grassed area between trees. Our top field is perfect for motorhomes & caravans.
Plenty of space to breath and relax. Located on the stunning heathlands of the Sutton Heath. We are surrounded by beautiful woodland walks, including the Sandlings walk and just 10 minutes from the river Deben.
We have a bus stop at the top of the track and Melton train station is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There are access points onto public footpaths, leading to Rendlesham Forest. A famous site for UFOs! Sutton Hoo is a stone's throw away. Bring your bikes and explore the area on wheels.
There is water access and portaloos. We do not have showers yet. Blue/grey waste must be taken away. LEAVE NO TRACE

We have a shared under cover space and also an outdoor fire-pit to gather more than 20 people comfortably. There is a simple compost loo for your use with hand-washing and dish washing area outside. And the rest is all Mother nature! There is no running water or drinking water. You will need to bring your own. No electricity points or WIFI are in the campsite and no masts nearby so enjoy the EMF cleanse.
Whether you chose to stay in the ancient woodland or the herbal pasture, you will feel the benefits of reconnecting with yourself in nature, breathing the clean air and hearing the birds singing. The parking is 800m away and there is minimal tractor use so you can imagine yourself roaming the fields and forest of England in days gone by.

Cleghorn Farm is a mixed farm just north east of the market town of Lanark. Comprised of 250 acres of fields and woodland and bounded to the south by Mouse Water, it is a beautiful spot to get away from it all without having to leave it all behind if you don't want to. The fields are grazed and cultivated but the woodlands are much as they were at the end of the last ice age with spectacular walks along Cleghorn Glen with the chance to see badgers, bats, deer and all manner of birds among the towering pine and beech trees.
The Mouse Water (pronounced moose) tumbles down along the edge of the farm and has some glorious pools for swimming, shallows for paddling and some spectacular water falls before it joins the River Clyde, all a gentle walk from the sites.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.
Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven.
Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements.
We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests!
We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know.
We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay.
Litter:
You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are recycling bins on the campsite, it is your responsibility to recycle.
Pitches to be left as you found them.
Noise:
Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning.
No loud music is to be played at any time.
Children:
Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area.
Dogs:
Must not to be left unattended.
Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available).

It’s a lovely place with nice tents and things to do for the kids. My little one is 3 years old and she loved the bell tent and the hammocks and badminton. The cafe is lovely too. We live in London and it was very easy to reach with public transport. Maybe bring some ear plugs because you will hear airplanes.

Beautiful setting. The tents were set up inside so comfortably, shower and toilet block clean and beautifully rustic with gorgeous smelling soap and shampoo etc. Added bonus of having the firepit available with added safety precautions with current dry conditions. Great onsite cafe. So close to great walks and pubs too. Would very much recommend to friends.

Amazing space. We stayed in a roundhouse that had a birds nest in the roof. Everything about the place was great, the kids loved it, felt the most relaxed I've felt in months just walking around the site with my 13-year-old son. Cafe is amazing, just a shame it wasnt open all week. Will be returning.

A fantastic place we never knew was there, just down the road from us. We wanted a couple of days away but didn’t want to travel far so this was ideal and close to the stables we were going to to ride. We felt a million miles away. Incredible set up, Charlie was great and everything was pristinely clean. The cafe was fab for breakfast.

If you're looking to relax and soak up nature this is a beautiful spot on the edge of the forest. We stayed in a Bell Tent with lovely extras with some nice fruit tea bags and sugar stir sticks. Everything looked brand new.
Very clean showers and toilet blocks - modern and fresh.
Nothing was too much trouble - don't normally camp but I would have been happy for a week with a good book but sadly could only stay one night :-(

Lovely ‘wild Glamping’ set up. Off grid.
Each bell tent was equipped so that all you need to bring is bedding, food and a tea towel.
We stayed on a very hot evening so the tree cover was welcome. Plenty of shade and protected from elements. There is a little field if you want to get out from the woods (and play a little badminton). Bucket shower was great.
I also over stayed by an hour or so (thanks!) and saw just how much effort was put into the cleaning of the cooking equipment etc by the staff who were wonderful.
I did take a camping stove as I wasn’t sure I wanted to cook over a fire during the heatwave but actually I made a fire anyway as it is always fun and could have coped without.
If going in wet weather I would make sure you take decent footwear - that’s all! Thanks for a lovely stay

We had a brilliant stay at The Barn KT9. It’s even better than the photos. The tents were huge with comfy beds and clean sheets. The room diffuser was a lovely touch. Beautiful views and a relaxing space. The kids really enjoyed finding the different activities you had laid out in the field. The cafe was even better than hoped! Wonderfully peaceful place with so much birdsong. The roundhouse was the perfect temperature after a hot sunny day on the beach. Great place to explore from and the cafe was just perfect, serving delicious food from the farm. Shop with honesty box really useful for last minute meals at the campsite too. This was a truly unique experience that my two boys (6 and 8) loved. Morag made us feel very welcome and gave them lots of opportunities to interact up close with the animals, the rabbits and pigs being their favourites. The camp has a relaxed feel and is really welcoming of well-behaved dogs. Having a river that the kids (and dog) can play in all day was a treat in the hot weather. I would recommend taking some cooking pans because they did get taken by other campers, making them in scarce supply. This is not a luxury experience but one that certainly puts you at ease, with comfortable surroundings and all the basics you need. My boys have talked about it every day since we have been and are keen to go back.
