With two easy-access large tree houses, swings and a big picnic shelter, there's lots of room to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Our spot is not far off 64 and close to 69. It's a late 1800's farmhouse with an antique barn situated in the middle of an industrial park, so it is loud during the day.
Since we've added a gravel parking lot for barn concerts, there are just a few camping spots. Vehicles are welcome. We usually have a portajohn.
You can sit around a fire on our property and look at the stars by night (when there's not a fire ban).

Conveniently located along the east side of U.S. Hwy 41 in Oaktown, IN, New Vision RV Park is easily accessible. If you're traveling from Vincennes, it's just a 14-mile journey north, while those coming from Terre Haute will find us approximately 45 miles to the south. Spanning 16 acres, the park features well-maintained interior roads made of crushed limestone gravel, ensuring a smooth experience for all visitors.
Our facilities include 23 back-in sites equipped with full hookups (FHU) and 20/30 amp service, each measuring 40 feet wide by 60 feet long. Additionally, we offer 16 pull-through sites with full hookups and 20/30/50 amp service, each 40 feet wide by 65 feet long. For those seeking a more rustic experience, we have six primitive tent camping sites available, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts looking to immerse themselves in nature without utilities.

Since its inception, the club has organized numerous events, with the Turkey Trot Festival being the highlight. This annual celebration, held the weekend after Labor Day, has been a staple of the community since 1972, attracting visitors with its lively atmosphere and performances from renowned country music artists. The festival grounds have seen significant improvements over the years, including the addition of a new playground, upgraded campground facilities, and expanded blacktop driveways.
In addition to the Turkey Trot Festival, the Montgomery Ruritan Park offers a variety of outdoor activities, making it a perfect getaway for nature enthusiasts. While the once-popular Indian Rock Lake Beach has closed, the park continues to draw hundreds of campers from Southwestern Indiana and beyond, thanks to its serene environment and well-maintained facilities. In April there were violets and Redbud's in bloom, that splash of purple was magical. We loved the cows, goats and chickens on the far end of the large fenced in field. The fire rings and cute benches made from crates were super creative. We saw cottontail bunnies, white tail deer and heard turkeys. A nice relaxing stay under a full moon.

Weekend Trip to Sleeping Bear Retreat
I loved camping here. The teepees are such a great retreat, I chose one with power which was a luxury. Enjoyed cooking over a fire with my own picnic table nearby. Even set up my hammock behind the teepee with some well placed trees. The bathrooms were very well maintained and even had an outdoor sink to wash hands and a separate large sink to clean dishes. The grounds are lovely and I will definitely be back to camp again.

This was a lovely camping spot! The views are gorgeous. The signage and directions to the site are easy to follow. Hosts were communicative and friendly. We love a secluded campsite and this felt like we were surrounded by nothing but trees and rolling farmland. The site was large with plenty of room for our tent and vehicles. We loved watching the sunset here! 10/10 recommend and would love to visit again!

I hesitate to give a great review only because I want to gatekeep this spot so it’s always available when we want it! If gorgeous sky and landscape views, privacy, and a cool dip in the pond is what you’re after, you cannot go wrong with this Hipcamp. We enjoyed going into Huntingburg and Jasper for the day, and then the next day, we enjoyed never leaving. We’d live here if we could. Already planning our next weekend getaway.

This was our second trip to Hill Spring Campground, and once again, the pond site was absolutely perfect. The views are breathtaking, and the pond is such a peaceful spot to relax and fish. We even had the treat of watching a rainstorm roll through, followed by a stunning double rainbow—it was pure magic. This truly is one of our favorite places to camp, and we can’t wait to return again!
