My wife and I had a wonderful time. Sandra is an amazing host who greeted us on arrival and gave us a detailed run down of her farm and where we could walk to in the immediate area. She was available for questions and, being very knowledgeable of the area, she gave us so many options for things to do. It is a working farm and Sandra was quick to update us of anything happening that might have disturbed us. Sandra’s farm is beautiful and very well maintained and tidy. Even though the campsite is beside a barn and close to her residence it was still very private and peaceful. There is an abundance of birdlife, and butterflies and dragonflies were everywhere. There is a pollinator garden that attracts various birds, butterflies, bumblebees, bees, and other insects. I could go on but needless to say we would be happy to stay there again. Thank you to Sandra and her family.

We had such a wonderful stay at this farm campsite! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and great location for biking to different vineyards. The campsite was spacious and easy to pull in with a trailer.
The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and experience the charm of nature and farm.

We loved tent camping on Ziggy's land. He was a very helpful host. We had a group of 9, and everyone has the same, very positive experience.
The drive in movie setup is about as good as it gets, the concessions were delicious and fairly priced. I will be back for sure. Thanks again!

Ziggy met us as soon as we arrived on site. He made us feel welcomed and was flexible to accommodate our needs.
My toddler loved the playground, though the equipment was a little rundown.
Our site was in a lovely forested area and other patrons were friendly and considerate.
Fair warning, the campground is right next to the highway, so traffic can be heard at all hours of the day.

I fell in love with this island!! Tom was responsive and helpful. The site is residential but the neighbors are summer/seasonal cabins. The back part of the property is a field to buffer noise and add privacy. I really appreciated that there was electric and water available. It felt private to me as the neighbors were not there. Tom built a small adorable cabin on the property. It was shaded and good for tent camping. It is just off the road however very little road noise because the island is mainly bikes and golf carts. Beach was a five minute bike ride away and enjoyed biking to the winery as well as art store and restaurant for dinner. My dog and I had a great time. I wish we would’ve stayed three nights.!!

Very nice property, it’s just off the highway and very close to a McDonalds. It feels cozy camping in the trees here but there is also open field. Ziggy is a great host. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. We plan to go back again.

A few minutes from the quaint town of Mitchell’s Bay this well appointed site has everything you need and more. Steven is an incredible host supplying firewood and he brought us a sweet welcome gift. He even tweaked the Wi-Fi at our site so we could work remotely easily. But the most incredible part of this site is the show Mother Nature gave us. The fireflies here are unlike anywhere else, it literally looked like a natural fireworks show. We will definitely be returning and can’t wait to stay here again.

Overall we loved our time at Bridgewood Farms. It was very peaceful. At first, it was a little weird being parked up against and in between 2 (albeit charming) barns, but the propery view was spectacular. It quickly grew on us and we felt safe and peaceful there. Sunsets were amazing. The night sky was awesome. The firepit is situated perfectly out in the back grassy area, next to a picnic table, the most wonderful views all the way around. We had power hookup but only a water refill station, which worked fine for us, but some who need water hookup need to be aware of this.
We appreciated being invited to use their beautiful inground pool, especially with the heat wave we were in that week.
My husband enjoyed a nice long walk with our pup through the woodsy area and along the creek. A wonderful little property!
Locally there are so many sweet little finds: a little stand selling flower bouquets, wineries, and more.
The property also includes the section across the street and up to the water's edge, and we were able to enjoy sitting in the Muskoka chairs along the water's edge, basking in the breeze and view of the lake.
The owners were very kind and friendly and we will definitely be back.
Highly recommend. This is a great place to find peacefulness.
If I could make an adjustmentment, it would be to move the power down further so campers wouldn't be between the barns but behind them. We'd lose the half day shade, but gain more view. .. otherwise, perfect!

One of the most fun experiences I’ve had car camping. Restrooms are clean and well maintained.
Ever wonder why there’s no local drive in near you? It’s because people always think “we should go” and then they don’t. Here’s your chance to not only go, but to chat with a cool cat. Ziggy had the stories and was a gracious host.
Plenty of camping options. Want to be alone in the woods? Want to be middle row of the theater? Want to be off the side in the back with a big play area for your kids? Yep… those are all options.
Sat inside to watch part of the movie from theater seats (AC was blowing like .. the wind).
Visit and create some lifelong memories.
