I have owned the property for over 16 years now, and moved here from Toronto about 4 years ago, living in nature has become my life. The property is full of Wild life and history. The 18 acre orchard was turned into a white pine forest about 40 years ago and has recently been thinned out to promote healthy growth. Bee hives have recently become part of the life that exists here. The area is surrounded by a Mennonite community and the Amish are also within a 15 minute drive from here. On the map you will see that this property is a part of the original Queen's bush. The highest point in the township with amazing views all around. Here to enjoy and experience for all.Learn more about this land:64 acres of forests, a pond and an open field filled with wildflowers, butterflies and a vast variety of Birds. This place has 6 distinct forests to explore and forage. The campsite consists of an acre of groomed grass snuggled up against a vast forest and a frog pond with lots of activities to enjoy.The campsite is only 15 minutes from Port Elgin and Southampton. Beautiful sunsets from our open Meadow by a spring-fed pond. Lots of wildlife, butterflies and wildflowers!We have one site available for tent and RV campers. We provide a toilet, potable water and a picnic table. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban, pets are welcome.The forests are full of foraging options that might be of interest to some campers. Very close to rivers for those who love canoeing. 15 minutes from amazing beaches on Lake Huron in both Port Elgin and Southampton. Sauble Beach is less than 30 minutes away. Our 360 acres is located in Paisley Ontario in the Township of Bruce. We have 5 multi-acre sites for Boondock camping that offer beautiful breezes off of Lake Huron and quiet private pastoral settings. Each site is groomed and offers a fire pit. You can bring up to 7 trailers into each site for a multi-trailer experience.
We have approx 15 km of groomed trails to hike, trail run, walk all through Bruce County. We are close to numerous quaint Ontario towns and villages offering shops, bakeries, restaurants and more.
The Saugeen River is located very close to the properties and you can rent kayaks in Paisley and go down the river towards Lake Huron.
Lake Huron is a pristine great lake and we offer great beaches within 20 minute drive...
Our settings are perfect for small or large gatherings and are private and secluded.
Unfortunately we do not offer water, septic or hydro so your trailer needs to be self sustaining.
TRAILERS and MOTORHOMES are the preferred method of camping.
It is being used for Boondocking, weddings, mediation and yoga retreats and we look forward to hosting you also soon.

This was our second time at the farm. We had another amazing time. We were greeting by the host immediately and had everything ready for us, including a heap of firewood.
We were happy to see our donkey friends Lily and Oliver, and alpaca friend Bullwinkel. The leaves were beautiful colours and weather was sunny and warm.

We had an amazing time camping at Josh’s beautiful property — it’s truly a hidden gem! The land is massive, with forests, farmland, and a peaceful creek running through it. Josh was kind enough to upgrade us to a creekside campsite, which turned out to be absolutely perfect — spacious, scenic, and shaded by gorgeous willow and maple trees. Having a picnic table and fire pit provided made it even better; relaxing by the fire at night was pure bliss. The outhouse is super convenient and clean.
Even though we arrived later than planned and didn’t get to meet Josh in person, his son Riley took wonderful care of us. He was incredibly welcoming — he welcomed us with some cold beers, gave us a full tour of the property, and even showed us their private woods where we spotted wild mushrooms and local wildlife.
As nature lovers, we couldn’t have asked for more. The combination of beautiful surroundings, warm hospitality, and peaceful atmosphere made this one of our best camping experiences. We’ll definitely be coming back again for a longer stay to explore more of this little paradise.

We had a great 2nights camping at Sujo funny farm. Although we think we were mistakenly directed to the wrong campsite from what we booked, the campsite that we had is still good coz it’s kids friendly and quiet, away from the road. The hosts are really nice and very generous. While kids are having fun feeding the donkeys with fresh apples from the tree, the dads enjoyed fishing in the nearby pond. We will definitely recommend Susan’s land to our family and friends for their future camping adventure.

This was a spectacular little gateway in nature. We had a whole big spot surrounded by evergreens and felt a sense of privacy. Donkeys, alpaca, bulldogs, oh my! We also had a great experience birding! John was very kind and helpful and met us upon arrival. I will be returning because this place has a ton of nature to explore. I loved our night there!

Susan and John were BEYOND attentive to my numerous inquiries....Always responded kindly and super quick.
Could not have asked for a better place to stay.
When we initially pulled up I was like "oh this is kind of close to their house"
(You could not see the house, just occasionally my girlfriend hounds me to turn our music up and it gives me terrible anxiety)
You couldn't hear a thing; literally felt like we were in the middle of nowhere
Pre purchased firewood as well as the hydro and water hook up which I highly recommend...
Had a nice chat with John when he delivered our firewood both days.
The donkeys are super friendly, the place is superb, and I would definitely stay there again
Can't begin to express how much this little trip meant to us, and can't thank John and Susan enough for their hospitality

Our stay at Pasture 1 & 2 was fantastic! Josh, the host was very nice and helped us on our needs. They really take care of this campground and their guests. I love that land is grassy great for kids running around. We catch some fish and crayfish on the river as well. It is a perfect place for family camping and we might be coming back again.

The beach is beautiful and sandy there. Easy to park and enjoy the day. They had live music Saturday evening. All in all a quaint beach experince!
