Host was extremely kind and very responsive to messages. I did feel like we were right in someones back yard but still better than a busy campground. Was just the relaxing quiet place to pitch a tent we were looking for.

Arriving to Octavia's property was like arriving to home! The love, the presence, the service and stay was A1! She went above and beyond to ensure that my group was comfortable and had everything that we needed during our stay. It rained for some time before we arrive. As we walked up to our campsite we found our fire already started and lit, clean water and canisters available, outhouse clean, and the space ready for us to pop up our tents. Octavia and her mother made sure we had everything that we needed while still giving us the space we needed during our getaway. The night was peace and views of the mountains, trees, and stars were just breathtaking. In the morning, they happily served us tea with lemon and honey, grapes and blueberries as we chatted before we left to go home. I cannot wait to return to camp out on this hipcamp property again! I highly recommend this campsite for experienced or new campers alike.

Overall the experience was good. The host was very welcoming and responsive. The provided spots were a bit uneven but we were able to pitch our tent and have room for a table and some chairs. It was awesome that there was firewood and water provided. The main downsides were although the spot was very forested the proximity to the house made it feel like we were in a backyard. It would also be good to note that the soft soil had some thinly veiled rocks (hard to see but easy to feel/remove after tent was put up) and the sound of music/smell of weed (from the house) reach the campsite.

A fantastic host that couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. Octavia’s place is in a great location within easy reach of some great trails as well as amenities to pick up supplies. I had the best time.

The site was nice and tent friendly, and Octavia had a couple bottles of bottled water sitting on the site, which was nice. It was very quiet.
