We really loved the RV-site (#1)! It has a beautiful view of the mountains and Dan was very welcoming. We even had the opportunity to pick some raspberries, which were really really good! Thank you Dan!

We enjoyed our stay at Silver Tip. Beautiful spot with great views of the mountains and amenities. The parking is quite level with consistent power and great drinking water which can sometimes be hard to find. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. If you stay at the right time you can even enjoy the raspberry patch. Was a great treat during our stay.

Raspberry Patch with Mountain Views

Every thing went well. The host greeted us when we arrived he gave us the lay of the land. Helped is get settled and invited us to enjoy the raspberry patch. The raspberries are delicious. The campsite are well planned. Attention to the sites design for full mountain views good access and privacy has been created. We felted welcomed and relaxed. It was great.

Silver Tip Site #6 was an excellent place to stay and exceeded my expectations. The site was peaceful, well-maintained, and a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. Dan (host) truly embodies Canadian hospitality—friendly, polite, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. Communication was prompt from the time of booking through check-out, and any questions I had were answered quickly. It was clear they genuinely cared about making sure guests had a great experience. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable place with a responsive and thoughtful host, I would highly recommend Silver Tip Site #6. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on a future trip.

My partner and I camped here for 1 night as we were heading through to Wells Gray. Was such a beautiful and peaceful stay! Dan came and greeted us on arrival and was so lovely and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Dan’s beautiful spot treated us well! The view from the RV site and fire pit were spectacular. Changing clouds over the mountains along with the rainbows were soothing to our souls! The town of Valemount didn’t offer too much, unless you are an avid mountain biker- then the nearby bike park looked amazing! There were some nearby hiking trails but we were in the mood for a lazy day and this place served our needs! Dan is a great host.

Very nice host and a excellent location in a wonderfully maintained lot/ yard. Lots of space around you. The girls enjoyed to just run around. We stayed for only one night in between a mount Robson and Blue River safari tour. We were the only RV guests and Dan let us pick where to park. Thanks a lot Dan for the pleasant stay and all the conveniences.

We loved camping here, weather was beautiful the mountain view from our site was amazing and the hosts were very welcoming. Only downside was there's no outhouses and our site was right on the side of the road, all though there wasn't much traffic on it so not very noisy. Our daughter loved running around looking at the mushrooms and picking flowers.

The water situation was not good. For future rv campers, the water was a hand pump and it took quite some time to pump water out of the ground, otherwise everything else was fine. Also there was not any washrooms near the site

Nice and private place to stay overnight with full services near highway 5. The water is really good to drink, we stayed a couple nights. The only concern would be the train going by quite often during the night, but if you keep all windows closed, you’ll be OK.

Beautiful views. We explored Mt. Robson and did the Aloha trail while visiting. It was near the end of the season but I enjoyed picking raspberries each day. The lot could use some leveling. Overall, a great stay.

Missing camp manager, basic infra

Camping Manager not onsite for checkin and no deputy available. Poor Wifi (loses all the time connection after connecting). Wifi password not sent, I needed to question for it. Basic infrastructure. I cannot recommend this campground to a friend. Rating; 2.5 stars of 5 stars.

Best start to our camping journey!

This is the most scenic, beautiful stay of our camping trip so far. The site is off the beaten track so it offers a peaceful stay facing the snow capped mountains. We originally booked for 3 nights but extended it to 5 nights when we got there. There site is quiet and Dan was the perfect host. He helped us back our 35ft RV in too (newbies). It’s a full hook up site and although Hipcamp says the water isn’t potable - it really is. It’s the same water used in Dans own property and let me tell you that it’s the BEST drinking water I have ever tasted. Our dog played endlessly with Dan and Barbs pugs and my son got to raspberry pick and see Dans pond with rainbow trout. There was one or two mosquitos but not nearly as many as some other places we have been too . It was a wonderful start to our R.V. journey and if we are back this way we will stay again for sure! PS make sure you fill up the water before you leave because it’s hard to find water that’s as good anywhere else.

Absolutely stunning unbeatable views of the mountains, we were at site 1. Beautiful property. Full power and water hook up and a huge fire pit! Fell in love with the town, less than 10 mins away. Unfortunately at the time we went the Miskitos were bad. Dan was respectful and gave us full privacy. Over all a great experience!

We enjoyed our stay at Silver Tip. It was peaceful and much quieter than a "standard" campground. From our site we had a lovely view of the mountains. The property is well-kept, and Dan was friendly and helpful. Our site had full hook-ups, and was close to town for supplies as needed, close to hiking trails in Mt. Robson park, and close enough to Jasper to explore there, too. There was some road noise from the highway behind the property, and some trains, but neither were loud enough to bother us, and should not be a deal-breaker for anyone considering staying here. Highly recommend.
