Learn more about this land: Set in the forest with scenic views of Procter and Hosmer Mountain in the majestic Elk Valley. Hartley Creek, a tributary of the Elk River, can be heard from the various camp locations. Your access to the property leads you into the backcountry and there are numerous tourist destinations in the area. Hartley Lake, Sulfur Creek, Bull River, and the infamous Heiko's Trail are all nearby. Access biking, hiking, and ATV trails from your campsite. All this privacy and yet only a short distance to Fernie. We have a picnic table, potable water, and wifi available. Pets are welcome and campfires are permitted. Had a great stay at Brian's spot on my way west. He gave good directions and information to make my visit as smooth as possible. The location is quintessential Fernie! Thanks, Brian!

We were only there one night. We specified we’d be late in early out. Host didn’t respond to messages after we booked. We arrived at 10pm as specified host wasn’t home and I’m pretty sure I woke his wife up for which I felt bad. She directed us to where we could park it was very quiet which was great. There was a boat blocking the pull thru so leaving in the am was a bit tricky. Good location close to Fernie with a super cute dog. Might try again definitely not in the dark tho.

Nice location outside of Fernie. Lots of green open space to enjoy and the property is well maintained. Brian and Sarah are very friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed our stay!

Brian's property was perfect for using as a jumping off point for Fernie! It was in a beautiful location, the yard was beautiful and surrounded by wildflowers, each spot had a picnic table and everyone was super friendly (including their sweet pup Link)!

Great place to stay in Fernie. The relaxing feeling of feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere one minute and then you can be in the middle of town the next. Hosts were friendly and relaxed which was nice. Highly recommend over the crowded camp grounds in the area.

This was a great spot to camp out for me and my family for the weekend. It's a beautiful property with stunning surroundings. Brian and his partner where very friendly and accomodating and I would highly recommend checking this spot out!

This is a little slice of heaven!

The morning birdsong was a delight to wake up to and the host was great! My dog got a little pool to cool down in and I was made to feel very welcome. If you wanted a place to camp with a small group, this would be a nice place to do that. The area cleared for camping is fairly flat, but treed for shade, and easy to access. You won't be disappointed!
