Learn more about this land: Enjoy a waterfront view of Lake Erie 105 feet above the water! This quiet private area is surrounded by forest with a beautiful view of Lake Erie. It’s off the main road on a dead end road with no authorized access, situated at the back of a 12 acre property. The camp site is ____ sqft plus a path that can be walked on through the forest (there is some private property and private areas around the camp site that should not be accessed, they will be marked) The 5th wheel trailer with 2 single beds can be combined into a double bed. The trailer has many amenities including, a fridge/freezer, bell satellite TV, Stereo system, Kitchen with some supplies, potable water, toilet with a septic system, outdoor furniture, propane bbq, 2 burner hot plate, picnic table, and fire-pit. Many chairs to sit at both the fire-pit and deck, the trailer has a retractable awning that can be used to provide more shade for the deck There is no direct beach access, however, the beach is 5 mins driving time to Port Bruce, 15 mins to Port Stanley or 25 mins to Port Burwell The trailer is an older 5th wheel in livable condition, set in the forest, the trailer has signs of aging, there are animals that call the forest their home, we do the best we can to keep them out but animals will be animals it is not luxury, but very comfy, quiet and peaceful It does have its limitations No heat, no hot water, no WiFi, no shower, no oven, no stove, no microwave The water pump switch has to be turned on and off during use Some phone service providers work better than others on site As the property is on the edge of the cliff at the back, please use common sense when close to the edge, the edges are not meant to be stood on, it is quite safe if you don’t go right to the edge if you are looking to turn it off for a few days, get away from busy city life for a weekday/weekend or just simply reconnect with nature- this is the place!” Any questions please feel free to ask We look forward to hosting you!

Get in touch with nature and wildlife as you wander through trails and 40 acre forested area. Sleeping loft accessible by ladder comfortably sleeps 2 (double bed futton pillow). Enjoy watching the starts at night by the fire and visits from the abundant wildlife. Dog friendly! The space Come to the Hedgehog to completely relax and disconnect (seriously you will because there is no cell service!). You can drive up to the Bunkie all year round unless your vehicle has especially low clearance. The road/path out to the bunkie started as a well-made tractor path that has held up well over the years but has some rocks and bumps. Once through the gate it’s only a 1-minute drive to where you will park. This road may be a bit muddy! If you are looking for a Winter Bunkie getaway, we would be happy to host you; please note the following: - If there has been a lot of snow the private road from the street to the Bunkie is not plowed. Depending on the type of vehicle you are driving, you may have to park at the gate entrance and walk in (4-5min walk) to get to the Bunkie. - There is a wood fireplace in the Bunkie for sleeping, it will keep you very toasty. - There is lots of free wood available for an outside fire. We have a small grill available for cooking, bring your own coal. - Bring your own extra blankets and sleeping bags. - NOTE: There are 2 other bunkies in the area and camping spots in the summer; you will have lots of privacy but be aware you may not be alone across the full 40 acres! DETAILS: Sleeping loft accessible by ladder comfortably sleeps 2. We provide a futton pillow/mattress, pillows and some blankets but you can bring your own sleeping bags. You'll have an outdoor fire pit, grill (we have lots of wood but you can bring your own charcoal for cooking). Enjoy watching the starts at night by the fire and visits from the abundant wildlife. There is porta potty outhouse that is cleaned, bright and easy to access. There are hanging solar lights that can be turned on as needed. By the spring/summer we will have an outdoor shower facilities and another washroom! In the spring there will also be well water in the bunkie for cooking/cleaning. Do not drink from tap unless you bring your own filtration system. The bunkie has solar lighting for the evenings. If you don’t want to find your own firewood in the forest you can pick it up from locals on your way in for $5/bundle (see stands at the end of driveways). It is a big chunk of land but you can't really get 'lost' on it for any significant period of time. We are bounded by roads so eventually you will find your way. But, if you aren't experienced in the woods you may want to keep your wandering short, to start, as you get familiar with the land. Dog friendly!! We provide: • Bed mattress, pillows and blankets • TV (plug in your phone to watch downloads) • Keurig Coffee Maker • Toilet Paper • BBQ Grill • BBQ Utensils • First Aid kit What to bring: • Drinking water • Keurig Coffee Pods • Coal (for grilling) • Extra blankets • Dishes, cups, utensils • Food + anything required to prepare/eat your meals • Ice • Bug spray, sunscreen, etc • Garbage bags Guest access • You will have access to the entire bunkie and fire pit location with the surrounding outdoor space and parking. There are a couple other bunkies around but they are spread apart and you will have total have privacy! • 15 minutes from Port Dover or Simcoe – it’s the perfect retreat for a quick getaway. You can bring in your own extra kindling or bring own saw/axe to chop. - Bring your own extra blankets. DETAILS: Sleeping loft accessible by ladder comfortably sleeps 2. You'll have an outdoor fire pit, picnic table and 2 grills (we have lots of wood but you can bring your own charcoal for cooking). Enjoy watching the starts at night by the fire and visits from the abundant wildlife. There is 1 queen size bed in the loft for sleeping which is accessible by ladder. You will melt into the pillow-top mattress, luscious linens and don’t want to wake up heavenly pillows. There is porta potty outhouse that is cleaned, bright and easy to access. There are hanging solar lights that can be turned on as needed. There isn't running water in the bunkie but we are happy to provide you with as much well water that you would like, for cooking/cleaning. Do not drink from well unless you bring your own filtration system. No shower space but sponge/cloth bathing possible. There is a small table for 2 inside the bunkie or you can prep food and eat outside on the picnic table. A small fridge cooler is available to store any perishable food you may have. Bring your own ice. The bunkie has solar lighting for the evenings. If you don’t want to find your own firewood in the forest you can pick it up from locals on your way in for $5/bundle (see stands at the end of driveways).
