As private as private gets but only 6 miles to Newport Vt. There is a creek and a one acre pond (20 feet deep). It is all mixed hard and softwoods. It has some magnificent old growth trees 100 foot tall. There is a good rd that my friend has used with his Lincoln. Most any vehicle (car or Pickup)can get to the site. It gets a little tricky if you are pulling a trailer. A small one is OK but a large one - not so much....... The rd goes 1/2 mile to the rear of the land. Moose, deer and other critters visit too. We live 1/2 mile away from where you enter the woodlot. Our house is on Brownington Pond (200+ acres) & campers can use this site for swimming, boating & fishing. Hello, this Cedar Cabin is located on a private Dead End Road with direct ATV access from the cabin, this area is also known for great Wildlife moose, deer and much more. 10 minutes from the camp location is little diamond and big diamond pond, great fishing and kayaking. The property is equipped with an outdoor kitchen, gazebo with fire pit in the center, firewood bins full for purchase as an add on through hip camp, two kayaks with life vest no extra charge to use them just make sure that after they have been used they are rinsed off and put back into the original placement. property has power a functional toilet in the cabin along with a shower, also there is a Porter potty insert outhouse. There are three beds inside the cabin, bunk bed with a full size on the bottom twin on the top and a futon couch ***bring your own bedding, towels washcloths, paper products, plates, silverware** This Camp is rented through an honor system and because I rent it this way it saves you money by not paying all the cleaning fees like Airbnb, but you must leave the camp in the condition you found it or better taking anything brought to the property away ** especially trash or anything in the refrigerators** at your departure date. If anything inside or out was moved during your stay make sure it is placed back in its original placement, feel free to set up as many tents that will fit along with Easy Ups.

There is also golf at Dufferin heights, cycling paths, shopping and quaint villages to explore. I would be delighted to help you plan some activities to make the most of your visit.
A recently planted, fenced in food forest with picnic tables is the perfect place to watch the sunset as you let your dogs run free, while trails in the forest allow you the opportunity to explore the forested area by the river.
A fire pit, two picnic tables with umbrellas, four Adirondak chairs, washrooms offer additional amenities to enjoy your stay.
Please note that though I only accept 1 group of campers per visit so you can enjoy your intimacy in the evenings with your friends and family, you will not have exclusive use of the food forest during the day as I may need to attend to my trees for weeding, harvesting or other. Most guests leave at some point for an outing so schedules can easily be coordinated.
Extras include: a $5 per pet extra charge, $5 hot coffee morning service, and $10 local maple syrup. Please note that the base rental price includes 2 people so any more (for a maximum of 6) are charged $10 per person.

In the tipi, the wood is included as well as a bed, just bring your sleeping bags. We have a summer kitchen also for you to cook your meals!

First camp is where we ask that you park your car/trailer. If riding ATV's or snowmobiles, this spot is closest to the trails! We have a small camp on this spot that we stay in on most weekends. There is a tent/camper site on the side of the yard. Parking is also available in the door yard. These spots have access to an outhouse that is fully stocked with anything you would need. There is also a picnic table and large fire pit.
The second site is for the remote camper! These spots are at the end of the property tucked in the woods. Set up your tent next to the babbling brook that curves around this site OR travel up a mountain and sleep under a canopy of trees.
There are tons of hiking trails nearby as well as kayaking and moose watching. Feel free to reach out to get suggestions for where to go or what to do during your retreat!

With 2000 secluded feet on the spectacular Tomifobia river in the Eastern Townships, Riverstone Farm is the perfect camping getaway for nature lovers of all ages.
Enjoy the quiet shores of the Tomifobia on site or venture out- There is lots to do in this part of the Eastern Townships minutes from the Vermont border. Hike Mount Orford, Mount Pinnacle in Barnston or the Coaticook Gorge, spend the day at the beach- Lakes Lister, Massawippi and Memphremagog are nearby or cross the border into Vermont and swim in the clear waters of lake Willoughby. There is also golf at Dufferin heights, cycling paths, shopping and quaint villages to explore. I would be delighted to help you plan some activities to make the most of your visit.
A recently planted, fenced in food forest with picnic tables is the perfect place to watch the sunset as you let your dogs run free, while trails in the forest allow you the opportunity to explore the forested area by the river.
A fire pit, two picnic tables with umbrellas, four Adirondak chairs, washrooms offer additional amenities to enjoy your stay.
Please note that though I only accept 1 group of campers per visit so you can enjoy your intimacy in the evenings with your friends and family, you will not have exclusive use of the food forest during the day as I may need to attend to my trees for weeding, harvesting or other. Most guests leave at some point for an outing so schedules can easily be coordinated.
Extras include: a $5 per pet extra charge, $5 hot coffee morning service, and $10 local maple syrup. Please note that the base rental price includes 2 people so any more (for a maximum of 6) are charged $10 per person.

Hi everyone! We offer four tipis close to the beautiful Victoria River in the region of Lac-Megantic. It's a wonderful place to enjoy nature. There's sentier for hiking and two lakes to enjoy with a kayak. There is a bicycle available to go for a ride.
In the tipi, the wood is included as well as a bed, just bring your sleeping bags. We have a summer kitchen also for you to cook your meals!

Pitch your tent in our wooded trailside retreat and have access to picnic tables, fire pit, and an outhouse!
First camp is where we ask that you park your car/trailer. If riding ATV's or snowmobiles, this spot is closest to the trails! We have a small camp on this spot that we stay in on most weekends. There is a tent/camper site on the side of the yard. Parking is also available in the door yard. These spots have access to an outhouse that is fully stocked with anything you would need. There is also a picnic table and large fire pit.
The second site is for the remote camper! These spots are at the end of the property tucked in the woods. Set up your tent next to the babbling brook that curves around this site OR travel up a mountain and sleep under a canopy of trees.
There are tons of hiking trails nearby as well as kayaking and moose watching. Feel free to reach out to get suggestions for where to go or what to do during your retreat!

The A frame cabin (Fen’s Den) is a super sweet cozy cabin in the woods. The sight about a 10 min hike up, has access to gorgeous woods, nice back country skiing, as well as many ski resorts. The wood stove kept us cozy all weekend and the cabin kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Kimberley and Alex were amazing hosts! Can’t wait to camp up there again.

Cozy, well-equipped and built with warmth and lots of love, the tiny house was exactly what we were looking for to welcome the new year :-) Alain was kind, welcoming and very responsive; he made sure we have everything we needed, and went above and beyond to find a solution for a little technical issue related to the wood stove (thank you Alain!). We spent a peaceful down time, recharged, and were even able to enjoy snowshoeing in the beautiful vast terrain. What a treat!

Frank is a really nice guy and has a beautiful property. His land is tucked away deep in the woods down a dirt road. His house is on the property, but he’s got a really large lot of land with beautiful views of nearby mountains. I stayed on his property in winter, and he was super accommodating, he plowed for me, helped me pick out the best spot that would be shielded from the wind, and even provided me with an extension cord for power and some wood. I’ll definitely be back. He’s got amazing views and a very private feeling property. He even offered that I could stay in his finished lower level if I got too cold. Cool property and it’s really close to Mt Pisgah where I was doing some hikes.

3 nights at Camp whiskey throttle
Anthony's venue made one of the most memorable trips possible for my friends and I, as we made space away from our day jobs.
The camp is remote, scenic, and close by to most necessary resources (there is a LaPerle's market a few minutes drive away with everything we could imagine!). Additionally, there is a beautiful waterfall just 15-20 minutes away called Beaver Brook Falls with small trails and picnic benches.
Despite NH being on drought warning and our group not being able to enjoy a campfire, we felt no setbacks in our plans. On top of this, Anthony provided excellent turnaround in communications and incredibly gracious accommodations.
Excellent camp, even more amazing host. I would recommend this hipcamp 1000/10!

My Girlfriend and I had a perfect night of camping thanks to Don and Luna. Don was very accommodating and extremely kind. He helped us with anything we needed like camp gear as well as firewood. This is a great little spot! You can tell a lot of love was put into it. The outdoor kitchen was our favorite thing- even in the pouring rain you could cook a good meal on the flat top and then eat it under the gazebo with a fire. It’s on a dead end road, and not a single person passed the cabin all 4 days we were there. Extremely quiet. You can ride ATVs right from camp. Everything you could possibly need is available. And the surrounding location is absolutely stunning.
The only downfall for us was the sulfur smelling water, the warm shower water only lasting 5 minutes (so for two people needing to shower after off roading in the mud, that was a little rough) then it’s cold. There were some crumbs and stains on the counters, the toilet, shower, the fridge, and toothpaste stains in the sink - but I guess that’s to expect with there being no cleaner. And that’s not the hosts fault- some campers just don’t follow the rules.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and plan on booking another trip for next year.

Great tent camping experience. Quiet, great walking trails, amazing views,
Surrounded by gardens, apple trees, grazing cows and you will be among
several old historic buildings and farming implements from 1800's.
I real bargain for the price! I went on a Monday into Tuesday when the museum and buildings were closed, this made for a private quiet experience.
If you go during open times or peak summer/ fall times you may see more tourists passing through. Look forward to going again!

We loved camping here it was very secluded and we were able to enjoy a nice campfire right under the beautiful Vermont sky. The host Tony was very nice and showed very kind hospitality, he allowed us to use his kayak on the actual pond although there is a pond on the site it's just a small pond that you can swim in if you want or you can go to the hosts main house and go in the real pond. I fished the big pond and caught a ton of yellow perch and some catfish in the pond by the site. We definitely would love to come back again someday.

Canoeing, cycling, rock climbing, swimming, and paddle surfing keep campers active in summer waters as well, while snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are available in wintertime. Camp within the park at its rustic campsites or in more amenity-filled campgrounds with full restrooms and supply shops.
Lake Memphremagog
Explore the 21 islands of Lake Memphremagog while sailing or canoeing through its waters. The lake is especially popular for fishing—it teems with sunfish, yellow perch, rock bass, largemouth bass, and bullhead catfish. Campers can stay in nearby cabin rentals and campsites close to bait and tackle shops, supply stores, and restaurants.
Bleu Lavande
Renowned for its lush lavender fields and gardens, Bleu Lavande farm offers lavender soap-making workshops and other farm events to interested visitors. Bleu Lavande is open year-round and features an onsite boutique as well as nearby cabin rentals, campsites, and RV parks.
Coaticook
Visit Coaticook on the Coaticook River to traverse the longest suspended footbridge in North America. Campers will also enjoy exploring the town’s historic features, such as the Château Arthur-Osmore-Norton, which was built at the turn of the 20th century and now houses the Musée Beaulne. Coaticook is also renowned for its dairy industry, so take a moment to sample its famous cheeses and ice cream during a daytrip.
