Public beach is only a couple minutes walk away. Pelee Island is a like a natural reserve which contains some of Canada's rarest plants and animals. lots of birds, snakes and even if you're lucky you'll see a colony of pelicans. You could easily mistaken that you were in the Carolinas.

Welcome Hipcampers to Esterville Road in Southern Ontario where acres of farmland awaits you. This countryside glows green in the light of a bright sun, with the rustic wind that speaks of the olden days, as you're nestled along side a hayfield. Whether you'd like to experience a stay in the country, or just go back to your roots for an evening or two. Here at Crossroads you will have lots of parking, and close to your teepee tent which is 7' x 7', inside your tent will be a double airmattress. We provide a full bathroom with a stand up shower which is possibly shared with other guests as we also have cabins and vintage trailer to accomodate guests like you, and a port-a-jon is on site. At the restroom you will find a drinking water hose for your water needs. An outdoor cooler is beside your tent (don't forget the ice) and a comfy bench to relax at. Nearby you will find trails, boat launch, Oil Museum, eagle/deer sightings, grocery, local food, banks, parks. Or if ya'd just like to stay and join us at Crossroad Saloon (on property) to kick back and watch T.V. and tunes in the a/c! If you have a well-behaved fur friend please contact myself to discuss your pets stay, we understand as Crossroads is home to 2 barncats and a puppy. So what are you waiting for.. get in touch with nature, come enjoy the relaxation and quiet.

This property has an old farmhouse and barns on it, making for excellent social media pics. Only 10km from Harrow or Kingsville. There is also a nearby corner store called "Arner Stop" which sells snacks, gas, and serves breakfast until 2pm.

Very convenient sites for RVs with full hookup! The hosts are incredibly kind and provided us with firewood and mosquito coils. They also brought some colorful fire for our little guy to enjoy. I don’t think I’ve ever had friendlier hosts! Just minutes from Lake St Clair as well!

Wonderful little spot. The main building is air conditioned, has some free games (including pool), and some old school theatre seats. The screen is large and has a good picture, there are spots you can watch from your site, too. Food is delicious, bathrooms are clean - it's all clean, well maintained. Shaded areas and full sun areas pending your preference. Jim is great, too. Knowledgeable and kind! It was a trek for us to get there but it was worth it :)

The kids were thrilled with the goats, chickens, and pony ride, and we all fell in love with the beautiful horses. The farm's amenities were top-notch, with clean washrooms, a convenient shower, and a firepit that made cooking under the stars a joy. The golf cart ride to the tipi with our belongings was a thoughtful touch. TJ Stables delivered a delightful, family-friendly experience we can’t wait to revisit!

We stayed at the far end of the property but could get a view of the theatre right from our pop-up. Ziggy and his friend (forgot his name) were pleasant to talk to and pointed us in the right direction. Movie and camp right at the spot, couldn’t ask for more!

The camping was great. Ziggy was so helpful. It had just finished raining when we got there and he helped us pick a good aren for our tents and even gave us extra tarps for under the tents to help us stay dry. If you need wood no worries he has that too. Eve took time to help start our campfire while telling the kids about all the things they can do. Highly recommend going here. The movie choices were awesome for the kids too. We had a great time and already plan to go again this summer.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at TJ Stables - we enjoyed the off-grid cabin and the Spirit Horse Tour. We met Terry (the T in TJ) as soon as we arrived, she gave us a tour of the facility before escorting us to the cabin. Their attention to detail is impressive. They had the bonfire ready to go for us, a full tank of propane for the BBQ, extra firewood, lanterns, lighters, paper plates, utensils, thermacels, bug spray, extra blanket, bedding, you name it. We forgot cooking utensils and Terry generously let us use theirs from the staff kitchen. Flush toilets are nearby. Showers and bathrooms are available in the main building, accessible 24 hours. Zoe captivated us with her tour of the rare and beautiful Ojibwe Spirit Horses. All the staff are friendly and professional. It’s evident they care about what they do and put their hearts into their work. I’m looking forward to going back!

Nela’s space was a perfect couples getaway for the weekend! The space is private and quiet. The bathroom was clean, and the fire pit and picnic table were everything we needed for a weekend in Pelee. The campsite is also close to the beach and a quick drive to the winery. Pelee itself was amazingly relaxing and welcoming!
