A short walk to the campsites away from the main road allows for multiple tents and a more secluded experience. A tranquil forest surrounds the area with lots of wildlife to watch including birds, rabbits, deer, raccoons, groundhogs, toads and much more. Fireflies in the early summer months are a must-see along with the sounds of turkeys in the spring and coyotes occasionally howling in the distance.
