There is a small swimming hole on the island but otherwise the pond is full of aquatic life. The sites and trails are maintained all year long and the forest is quiet and beautiful. I have planted over 3000 trees with the help of the Severn Sound Environmental Association. The forest is registered as a managed woodlot with the province and habitat preservation/restoration is the priority goal. Please DO NOT bring firewood for your visit. I have large bags of cured firewood that was sustainable harvested from the forest available. Invasive insects and disease can be transferred from imported wood. Guests are welcome to quietly explore the forest trails but are asked to stay on the trail. Many birds and animals nest in the forest. My campsite is family-friendly (and pet-friendly), and 420 friendly too. Guests can easily drive up to and park at all campsites. My camp site is tolerant and respectful of all humans, animals and things. The Yurtle structures were built from Hemlock trees that were cut from this forest and processed into boards, then engineered into unique camping huts. Large windows capture the glory of the surrounding forest and sun sets, while wood stoves warm campers on those cold days/nights. Pat grew up only 2.5 miles from where she lives now with her husband Gerry. The grandmother of her best friend owned the farm when she was a little girl and she played in the house all the time growing up. Pat purchased the farm in 1997 and has been here ever since.Fun Fact: Pat's first pony named Scout, grew up on this farm. He raised the kids of 2 different families before he was given to her by her parents for her 4th birthday. Thus began her lifelong passion for all things equine.

Ivan’s land is immediately comforting and relaxing. The open spaces are soothing to the eye and spirit, and he knows how to let people enjoy it without imposing and also when to check in. As I left, I already missed the place, and started planning my next trip back.

We had an amazing stay at Carl’s place! The location is peaceful and beautifully maintained – it felt like having the whole forest to ourselves. The fall colors around the pond were absolutely stunning, and paddling there was pure calm. Everything was spotless, the hookups (including water) worked perfectly, and there was plenty of firewood ready for us. It’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature – we’d be happy to come back again!

This was our second time at the farm. We had another amazing time. We were greeting by the host immediately and had everything ready for us, including a heap of firewood. We were happy to see our donkey friends Lily and Oliver, and alpaca friend Bullwinkel. The leaves were beautiful colours and weather was sunny and warm. We highly recommend SUJO funny farm

Weekend Trip to Everhill Farm

We had an amazing time camping at Josh’s beautiful property — it’s truly a hidden gem! The land is massive, with forests, farmland, and a peaceful creek running through it. Josh was kind enough to upgrade us to a creekside campsite, which turned out to be absolutely perfect — spacious, scenic, and shaded by gorgeous willow and maple trees. Having a picnic table and fire pit provided made it even better; relaxing by the fire at night was pure bliss. The outhouse is super convenient and clean. Even though we arrived later than planned and didn’t get to meet Josh in person, his son Riley took wonderful care of us. He was incredibly welcoming — he welcomed us with some cold beers, gave us a full tour of the property, and even showed us their private woods where we spotted wild mushrooms and local wildlife. As nature lovers, we couldn’t have asked for more. The combination of beautiful surroundings, warm hospitality, and peaceful atmosphere made this one of our best camping experiences. We’ll definitely be coming back again for a longer stay to explore more of this little paradise. Thank you so much, Josh and Riley, for your kindness and generosity! 🌿🔥🍻

This property was exactly what we were looking for! The area was beautiful and the sites they have to stay at are great spots to camp. The river that runs through the property was amazing. Weekend Trip to SUJO Funny Farm Camping

We had a great 2nights camping at Sujo funny farm. Although we think we were mistakenly directed to the wrong campsite from what we booked, the campsite that we had is still good coz it’s kids friendly and quiet, away from the road. The hosts are really nice and very generous. While kids are having fun feeding the donkeys with fresh apples from the tree, the dads enjoyed fishing in the nearby pond. We will definitely recommend Susan’s land to our family and friends for their future camping adventure.

Weekend Trip to Natures Acres

What a way to end the camping season! We were fortunate enough to experience Spring, Summer and Fall on Carl & Marsha's gorgeous property! We also got to share it with our eldest son and grandkids and just finished another weekend with our youngest! Getting to watch the little animal family grow was an extra treat too! Baby sheep from last year are no longer babies, the babies from the spring have grown so much. Every trip was an amazing, much needed escape from "real life" and every season brought different views. SO many memories were made on this property this year and we are beyond grateful. Carl & Marsha are truly two of the kindest, most genuine, helpful people and we are so happy that we have managed to meet them and spend so much time on their property!!
