Spring Arbour Magic Forest &Trails!

Pitch your tent in our picturesque Carolinian forest in the heart of Norfolk county! Choose from 9 tent sites and 1 lodging site spread across 10 acres of wooded area on our 49 Acre farm. Well-kept trails to explore throughout. We are proud to have made the runner-up list for best Hipcamp in Ontario 2023

The terrain is mostly flat but interesting. Campsites are private with good separation from each other. Sites contain a picnic table and fire pit. Campfires are permitted according to our approved burn plan before midnight. 

5G/LTE cellphone service is good for Bell, Rogers and Telus networks. 

FREE Firewood can be gathered on the forest floor or pay for on-site pre-cut wood. Outhouses are close to campsites....but not too close 💩

Port Rowan is only 12 minutes away by car, most amenities can be purchased only 1 minute away at the local Busy Bee gas station.

We are situated in the middle of a Recreation Hotspot! Our site is within 3 minutes of paddling the Big Creek, 3 to 10 minutes to several A+ hiking trails, 15 minutes to amazing freshwater beaches of Long Point and Turkey Point, and the area is abound with cycling trails, motorcycle routes, geocaching, boat launches (we have room here for your boat!), cider/wine tours, and more! We are the perfect basecamp for everything the Long Point Bay area has to offer

We have some great watering holes nearby like burning kiln winery, hounds of Erie and Charlotteville brewing company. 

Birders Paradise!

The ‘Long Point Birding Area’ in Norfolk County is one of Canada’s premier birding locales. With over 400 species of birds observed, Long Point looms large as one of the most exciting places on the continent to observe our rich birdlife.

There are looping trails through the forest for campers to explore. The forest is dense and provides plenty of shade.

Firewood is available for campers to use. The host keeps these stations replenished. 

This is another site located at the entrance to the forest. It can easily hold 2-3 tents. 

The outhouse is a refurbished chicken coop. Good ventilation and battery-operated pot lights inside for nighttime use.

When Dave purchased this 100 acre property almost 40 years ago it was overgrown and unmaintained. Over the years he added many features to it, including this large pond.

Dave knows his property like the back of his hand and open to a guided tour. 

Tincan Ranch

This is a secluded and quiet property tucked back off the road in the bush. Lots of room to roam, trees to relax under and let your dogs run. We have three dogs that roam the grounds and are a welcoming committee. 
We have lots of sites tucked into the greenery for privacy. We operate a vintage trailer restoration shop on site and have lots of interesting units around. 

Lots of firewood available, a shower and bathroom indoors along with fridges, coffee maker, microwave and fresh water for some guests.

Sunset beautifully lit our site until it was gone, and we could comfortably fit four of us around the fire and sleeping space.

Liz H.’s Land

This little magical pond was another feature while walking the forest path. Really striking, this property is truly full of natural elements that make it very special.

While the host provided two chairs, we also packed some unfordable ones since there were four of us. Just keep that in mind!

Trees in the camping location were perfect for setting up the hammock as an additional option for relaxing.

Not an ideal demonstration of hammock usage, but a great spot never the less....

The chicken coop on the property is bigger than my apartment...sad and impressive!

Potable water is so pleasant to have easy access to and we got it here, it's a little walk from the camping spot, about 5 minutes but if you wanted you could drive up too. Still super convenient!

The fire pit is large enough there's no need to fight for prime marsh-mallow roasting locations.

Greener Pastures Eco Farm

Our 75 acre ecological farm is just south-east of Woodstock, ON, with easy access to the 401 & 403.  Camp out with views of rolling pastures of cattle and free range chickens.  Explore the 25 acre bush, where you are sure to see our heritage pastured pigs rooting or lazing around.  You will be greeted by our German shepherds, Ruby and Brooks, when you arrive. 
Experience a taste of place by visiting our on-farm store featuring our 100% grass fed beef & and other heritage pastured meat products, as well as a large variety of locally produced groceries.  A quiet, beautiful space to explore awaits you.  Farm tours or picnics are available for purchase prior to your arrival as extras in your hipcamp booking.  

While here, be sure to visit the On-Farm Shoppe for fresh eggs, meats, and other great local products.

private creeks, forests, and a private beach on beautiful Lake Erie. You will enjoy amazing views of the lake and have an unforgettable serene experience.

Private Beach Tent

Tucked back 2 kilometers from any form of civilization, this secluded paradise is the perfect getaway to ground yourself back with mother nature.

Eight different tenting sites to choose from with three different paths going down to the beach. You can enjoy swimming and free kayak rentals all from our private hidden oasis.

Overnight Parking:

This is a

pull-in overnight parking site. Located conveniently on the scenic highway number three (Talbot trail.) It is

a great spot to stay and spend the night/day to then continue on your way.

Horseshoe Overnight And Riding

This is a Ranch. Come and interact with horses here. Nestled in the forest are 15 campsites for horse lovers. Non electric sites only.On a beautiful 15 acre property with horses and riding programs. Enjoy a quiet night stay or arrange a peaceful trail ride. Close to trails for ATVs bicycles and walking.  Surrounded by small Lakeside villages with wineries zip lining and some of the world nicest beaches


Farm Camp & Art Retreat

Looking for a private farm campground with 30 amp? We have a lovely organic farm, run by my Canadian husband. I myself am a Dutch journalist and oil painter.

FACILITIES

We have a beautiful organic farm and a few spots for you to stay alongside (or in) our fields. You really get off grid here. We have water to fill up your tank and 30 amp electricity.&nbsp;There's&nbsp;wifi near the house. And for a small fee you can get&nbsp; wood for a campfire.

For swimming we recommend the beautiful beaches in Rondeau Park, only a few minutes away! Also, you can walk or cycle to town for an ice cream or groceries.

* Nearby there's plenty to do. You won't get bored: Greenview Aviaries Park&nbsp;and Zoo (7min),&nbsp;Rondeau Park (19min) for beaches and birdwatching, breweries (25min)&nbsp;and Josiah Henson Museum of African-Canadian History (31min).&nbsp;

Little White Farmhouse

Welcome to Little White Farmhouse!  

This is a great place to park your RV as a place to rest on route to your final destination.  

We are surrounded by farmers fields and located on Norfolk Street South/HWY 24, Simcoe, ON.

We are located near the Lynn Valley Trail and only 10 minutes to Port Dover, 20 minutes to Turkey Point and 35 minutes to Long Point.

Our paved driveway is the perfect place to park your RV.  Your front door will open onto the grassy area overlooking the farmers field.  We have beautiful sunsets.

Campfires are permitted before midnight provided Norfolk County isn't under a burn ban.

Furry friends are welcome provided they stay on a leash.  We have two dogs that will stay in our fenced backyard.

We are only 1 minute to Sobeys ,Tim Horton's and laundromat.

We have some wonderful restaurants, wineries and breweries in the area.

Nestled into the lush green forest on a beautiful family farm, our fully furnished cabin and bell tent await you.

You can choose from one of two listings: a bell tent or a cabin. This secluded and quiet haven sits atop one of the farm's rolling hills, letting you gaze into the forest view below. Watch the sunset or rise and listen to nature's music as stress melts away.

The farm is surrounded by quaint country roads, farms, and homes to explore.

This is the perfect place to unplug, relax, clear your mind, read, meditate, and get away from the noise of everyday life.

Nearby off-the-beaten-path hiking to immerse yourself in nature & greenery (forest bathing!). The farm itself is surrounded by quaint country roads, farms, and homes to explore. Follow the river road to do some wading, fishing, swimming, or simply sitting in this gorgeous bucolic setting to calm your nervous system and let the stress melt away.

Nearby, within 20 minutes drive, are Stratford and St. Marys - both lovely towns with lots of beauty & culture to offer if/when you're wanting to re-enter civilization!

Sit on the large deck and enjoy the peacefulness of the area. 

The cabin is cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

In the heat of summertime this is such a lovely spot to splash around and cool off!

A generous pile of firewood is provided to keep you toasty and cozy in the evenings before turning in for the night.

Midway between the outhouse and the cabin at the end of the laneway, you should be able to find a deer trail to follow into the woods.  This photo is taken directly beside the best entrance, looking back towards the outhouse/tent area.

Braemar Valley Nature Sanctuary

A nature enthusiasts private 18 acre backcountry-style getaway. Located in the beautiful Braemar Valley- 10 minutes from Woodstock, Ontario. Pine/oak/walnut stands, babbling brook, wildflower fields. 3+ km's of hiking trails through the forest, along the fields, across the creek and overlooking the valley. Cyclists can try out the km's of scenic gravel roads in the area.

The camp site is&nbsp;located in&nbsp;a creek-side wildflower field surrounded by silver&nbsp;maples, cottonwoods and pine stands and&nbsp;has a thunder box,&nbsp;&nbsp;picnic table, and fire pit. Pets are welcome&nbsp;so&nbsp;long&nbsp;as&nbsp;they&nbsp;are controlled and cleaned&nbsp;up after.
