We didn't end up going to the location after booking it for a night because of snow but Nancy was flexible enough to provide us refund. She from her own told us its ok if you don't come over even on the day of the booking. This shows that she has some values. We will try and go over to her location anytime soon. We had an amazing stay at Carl’s place! The location is peaceful and beautifully maintained – it felt like having the whole forest to ourselves. The fall colors around the pond were absolutely stunning, and paddling there was pure calm. It’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature – we’d be happy to come back again!

This was our second time at the farm. We had another amazing time. We were greeting by the host immediately and had everything ready for us, including a heap of firewood.
We were happy to see our donkey friends Lily and Oliver, and alpaca friend Bullwinkel. The leaves were beautiful colours and weather was sunny and warm.

The back glen was absolutely perfect. I went in the end of September and the weather was perfect. Charles was very kind and accommodating as well! You can fish and swim in the water, as well as walk some trails along the fields. I set up a hammock by the convenient porta potty and it was perfect. The ground is very level as well for anyone with tents. I will definitely be coming back again!

Weekend Trip to Heartwood Farm & Cidery
We had a wonderful stay at the Heartwood Cidery. We chose the Spruce Sanctuary which was more secluded and had a private outdoor kitchen with everything you would need. Val was a welcoming host and provided a complimentary flight of ciders upon arrival, (and enjoyed some live entertainment too)
Serene property, relaxing, a nice easy get away.
Enjoyed meeting the farm animals too! Would recommend staying here :)

The owners are wonderful people. They will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable.

We had a great 2nights camping at Sujo funny farm. Although we think we were mistakenly directed to the wrong campsite from what we booked, the campsite that we had is still good coz it’s kids friendly and quiet, away from the road. The hosts are really nice and very generous. While kids are having fun feeding the donkeys with fresh apples from the tree, the dads enjoyed fishing in the nearby pond. We will definitely recommend Susan’s land to our family and friends for their future camping adventure.

What a way to end the camping season!
We were fortunate enough to experience Spring, Summer and Fall on Carl & Marsha's gorgeous property! We also got to share it with our eldest son and grandkids and just finished another weekend with our youngest!
Getting to watch the little animal family grow was an extra treat too! Baby sheep from last year are no longer babies, the babies from the spring have grown so much. Every trip was an amazing, much needed escape from "real life" and every season brought different views.
SO many memories were made on this property this year and we are beyond grateful.
Carl & Marsha are truly two of the kindest, most genuine, helpful people and we are so happy that we have managed to meet them and spend so much time on their property!!

This was a spectacular little gateway in nature. We had a whole big spot surrounded by evergreens and felt a sense of privacy. Donkeys, alpaca, bulldogs, oh my! We also had a great experience birding! John was very kind and helpful and met us upon arrival. I will be returning because this place has a ton of nature to explore. I loved our night there!

Susan and John were BEYOND attentive to my numerous inquiries....Always responded kindly and super quick.
Could not have asked for a better place to stay.
When we initially pulled up I was like "oh this is kind of close to their house"
(You could not see the house, just occasionally my girlfriend hounds me to turn our music up and it gives me terrible anxiety)
You couldn't hear a thing; literally felt like we were in the middle of nowhere
Pre purchased firewood as well as the hydro and water hook up which I highly recommend...
Had a nice chat with John when he delivered our firewood both days.
The donkeys are super friendly, the place is superb, and I would definitely stay there again
Can't begin to express how much this little trip meant to us, and can't thank John and Susan enough for their hospitality
