We have owned the property for 19 years. The camping area was once a gravel pit which was rehabilitated in 2020. There is agricultural land that is farmed in the summer as well we host bees at that back of the property . A unique feature on the property is a natural spring that bubbles up and feeds the two streams on the property.

Heavens Acres has been a stop over since the 1850's for people travelling by horse from Toronto to Owen Sound. We have 100 acres surrounded by another 200 acres of conservation land. There is camping in the pine forest as well at the very back of the property where you will find a hardwood bush with trails. Please note that the hipcamp map shows a large body of water on the property, as does google driving maps. It is a marsh, not a lake. Google Earth shows it better. There is however, a creek and pond, but don't bring your boat. :) This is a "LEAVE NO TRACE" campsite, so please take all garbage when you leave. Please note that in the winter months. There’s a $25 surcharge. This is required for snow removal to access the sites that are at at least 1 km into the bush. We are in a snow belt area and it is very difficult to keep the sites open in the winter. Four-wheel-drive is required for access in the winter!

With three large windows, a dome skylight, and wool felt insulation, the yurt provides a wonderful "glamping" experience. The perfect place to stay for a remote escape. The sky out here will make you want to come back for more! The Amish built cabin is perfectly insulated, and even in -15 windy weather I was warm and cozy thanks to the wood burning camping stove. Rick is a great host! Highly recommend.

My children and I loved our stay at Rick's place. Tha cabin and airplane are in great shape and nestled in the middle of the woods. Rick was a good host and everything was as we expected. Lovely little cabin. Well-insulated, and has a wood stove. Doesn't take much fire to warm the place up. The main cabin has three single-bed cots plus a single bed mattress in the loft, but know there is very little headroom up there. Probably more suitable for a child. There's a table and four chairs. The plane has room for an adult or a couple of kids to set up sleeping bags. Very quiet. Didn't hear a thing aside from the wind in the trees. Just what I wanted for a Hallowe'en camping weekend. The outhouse is clean and as nice as an outhouse can be. Watch out for the dogs on the way in. They're friendly cuties, but don't seem car-smart, so drive extra slowly.

Firstly, Rick was the best host. Informative, responsive but left us to our own devices. My partner and I were looking for somewhere functional and secluded and this property hit all the marks. We stayed there with our 3 large dogs and were able to explore trails onsite that were easily accessible and intuitive. There's also a great clearing in the marsh where we were able to catch some shooting stars! The first night we stayed in the smaller cabin, which was a dreamy little slice of rustic bliss. Second night we stayed at the unique plane crash site - overall has more space and access to the plane worked as a perfect refuge to shelter from the elements, while conveniently placed steps away from the warmth of our campfire. Clearly both sites are treated with care, clean and filled No doubt, will be back.

This was our second time at the farm. We had another amazing time. We were greeting by the host immediately and had everything ready for us, including a heap of firewood. We were happy to see our donkey friends Lily and Oliver, and alpaca friend Bullwinkel. The leaves were beautiful colours and weather was sunny and warm. We highly recommend SUJO funny farm

This was our first experience using Hipcamp, and it was awesome! Suelaine and Peter were amazing hosts, they were super helpful in getting us situated when we got there. We (my dog Onyx & I) had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful A-frame cabin! It’s the perfect mix of cozy and peaceful, surrounded by nature and all the little details that make it feel special. The host’s kindness and hospitality truly stood out — they even gifted us some fresh raw honey and venison steak, which was such a thoughtful surprise. We also loved how dog-friendly the cabin was! Our Great Dane joined me for the trip and was welcomed with open arms (and plenty of space to stretch out). It’s not easy finding places that accommodate giant breeds so comfortably, and this one was perfect. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with warm hosts, beautiful scenery, and a truly personal touch. We can’t wait to come back!

My partner and I stayed at Emily’s Yurt this past thanksgiving weekend 2025 as a last minute booking. Emily accommodated our stay and was very quick to respond. The yurt was stunning, we’ve stayed at many hip camps and this was by far the best experience. From a eco friendly outhouse with a wood chip system, very clean and well stocked with necessities. The yurt had all supplies needed, along with many games and other activities to do. Can’t thank Emily enough for sharing her beautiful property and being so welcoming.

We have 5 multi-acre sites for Boondock camping that offer beautiful breezes off of Lake Huron and quiet private pastoral settings. Each site is groomed and offers a fire pit. You can bring up to 7 trailers into each site for a multi-trailer experience. We have approx 15 km of groomed trails to hike, trail run, walk all through Bruce County. We are close to numerous quaint Ontario towns and villages offering shops, bakeries, restaurants and more. The Saugeen River is located very close to the properties and you can rent kayaks in Paisley and go down the river towards Lake Huron. Lake Huron is a pristine great lake and we offer great beaches within 20 minute drive... Our settings are perfect for small or large gatherings and are private and secluded. Unfortunately we do not offer water, septic or hydro so your trailer needs to be self sustaining. TRAILERS and MOTORHOMES are the preferred method of camping. Learn more about this land: !!!!!!ONLY area A is still available to camp on!!!! The land is framed by the historic Bruce Trail to the north, Billy Bishop airport (only a few small prop-private flights daily) to the west, Concession 6 N on the East, and Highway 26 on the south end of the property.   There is a forest on the north end of our land where the bruce trail runs through (C) and the farm sits more to the south end (A). There's a pine-forest that one has to hike into (B- see map in photos). Generally, the area is close to swimming in Lake Huron, the property is large (100 hectares) and the neighborhood is large grain. This means you can have a chunk of the forest all to yourself. For area A you can drive in the main driveway and park by the house/ barn or on the field. Or walk to a camping spot. No 4 wheel drive is necessary. Please stay away from the Barn as it is dangerous to be close by.  For area C you can access the fields from Concession 6 N at one of the gates past (North) of the driveway. You will need a 4-wheel drive to not get stuck in the field. Please do not park on the agricultural field.  For area B You will park your car behind a gate right off Highway 26 and hike in to find a site to pitch a tent. There are about 3 spots for cars behind the first set of Pines. You might need a 4-wheel drive.  It's completely up to you where you set up camp. We ask that you do not light any open fires as this is a coniferous forest. Feel free to walk in as far you want to find your spot. If you walk too far you will come up to a field and the farmhouse. We ask that you do not camp on the agricultural fields.

Our camping sites are located towards the back of our property, so a 5-10 mins walk is required to get to your site. We can provide a wagon to help transport your supplies. THE AREA You will have access to 700+ acres of conservation/county forest beginning at your campsite. You can walk out of your tent and explore! There are 2 small lakes within a short drive of Dusty Hills. McCullough Lake is about 5 minutes by car or an easy bike ride to the public beach. Williams Lake is less than 10 minutes by car and also has public access. We are a 10-minute drive from Kinghurst Forest, which is 370 hectares of old-growth forest designated as an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSI). Centrally located, just south of the Bruce Peninsula -- you will be perfectly situated for day trips to Georgian Bay or Lake Huron. The sandy beaches of Port Elgin, Southampton or Sauble Beach are a 40-minute drive. Access points to the Saugeen River for fishing/paddling are also nearby. LOGISTICS We are a short bike ride away from the town of Williamsford, which contains a sprawling bookstore/café in an old mill, the famous Williamsford Pie Company, and a well-stocked convenience store (LCBO Licensed). Any other shopping needs can likely be satisfied in Owen Sound, 20 minutes north of us. We can provide drinking water, and have folding tables and chairs for your site if you would like them. Please note: Small group camping only (6 person max per site). No parties. No late arrivals. No ATVs. Any children must be supervised by an adult at all times. All flammable materials, including cigarettes, are to be extinguished and packed out. There is no garbage disposal, please take away the garbage you create.
