We share our backyard with our guests, we are very close to everything that Bruce county has to offer, port Elgin, Southampton, golf courses, different accesses to saugeen river where u can go fishing canoeing, tubing etc., supermarkets, native reserve, sauble beach and dozens of other ones…all at max 15 minutes distance… in the property you will find everything u need for a peaceful stay, hard to describe everything you will find but u can read our reviews, some of them have beautiful descriptions of what is here for you, you must love animals, since we have our pets all around, u are also super welcome to bring yours. One of the high points of here is the interaction u will have with the pets, they are all super friendly and will play with u every time they see u, they believe u r here for them, between, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc they will be part of your stay, this is theyr home, u r theyr guests, that’s how they think, so u must be a pet lover. We have 5 multi-acre sites for Boondock camping that offer beautiful breezes off of Lake Huron and quiet private pastoral settings. Each site is groomed and offers a fire pit. You can bring up to 7 trailers into each site for a multi-trailer experience. We have approx 15 km of groomed trails to hike, trail run, walk all through Bruce County. We are close to numerous quaint Ontario towns and villages offering shops, bakeries, restaurants and more. The Saugeen River is located very close to the properties and you can rent kayaks in Paisley and go down the river towards Lake Huron. Lake Huron is a pristine great lake and we offer great beaches within 20 minute drive... Our settings are perfect for small or large gatherings and are private and secluded. Unfortunately we do not offer water, septic or hydro so your trailer needs to be self sustaining. TRAILERS and MOTORHOMES are the preferred method of camping. The land is framed by the historic Bruce Trail to the north, Billy Bishop airport (only a few small prop-private flights daily) to the west, Concession 6 N on the East, and Highway 26 on the south end of the property.   There is a forest on the north end of our land where the bruce trail runs through (C) and the farm sits more to the south end (A). There's a pine-forest that one has to hike into (B- see map in photos). Generally, the area is close to swimming in Lake Huron, the property is large (100 hectares) and the neighborhood is large grain. This means you can have a chunk of the forest all to yourself. For area A you can drive in the main driveway and park by the house/ barn or on the field. Or walk to a camping spot. No 4 wheel drive is necessary. Please stay away from the Barn as it is dangerous to be close by.  For area C you can access the fields from Concession 6 N at one of the gates past (North) of the driveway. You will need a 4-wheel drive to not get stuck in the field. Please do not park on the agricultural field.  For area B You will park your car behind a gate right off Highway 26 and hike in to find a site to pitch a tent. There are about 3 spots for cars behind the first set of Pines. You might need a 4-wheel drive.  It's completely up to you where you set up camp. We ask that you do not light any open fires as this is a coniferous forest. Feel free to walk in as far you want to find your spot. If you walk too far you will come up to a field and the farmhouse. We ask that you do not camp on the agricultural fields.

This was a magical and tranquil camping escape. The waterfront spot was perfectly quiet and peaceful. The clear skies and zero light pollution provided phenomenal stargazing nightly. Chris was very generous host. He provided us an abundant and complimentary supply of firewood. It made our evenings effortless and cozy. We will definitely return!

What a lovely weekend we had at Ivan's property 😀 He's a wealth of knowledge about native fruit trees & berries. The front of the property has an extensive orchard that Ivan has worked on for ten years. Check his booth out at the Meaford Farmers market if you have the chance! The campsite was in a lush grassy area neighboring a cover crop plot that provided lovely views. An old fire pit was provided and we made good use of it. The farm is close to town and you can easily make a visit to owen sound/ thornbury/ Collingwood to flesh out a full weekend trip. We had a blast and highly recommend 👌

Super friendly Pedro was a fountain of knowledge and helpfulness upon our arrival. Pleasant relaxing night spent with 2 fur babies who had the time of their lives. Relaxing Hottub and an amazing fire & movie night. 15 min away from the beach and amazing restaurants. would highly recommend. Pedro even suggested a dog-friendly beach that was close by!

There were more amenities in the Bunkie than expected (toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, small fridge, AC and heater and more). The hot tub and fire pit area along with the swing on the tree were bonuses. Thank you for having us.

We loved staying at Mojitoville! The site was secluded and clean, and had really handy amenities. We loved sitting around the fire pit after cooking up a nice meal on the grill. The washing up station was super handy for cleaning up afterwards, and the on site shower was great to freshen up the next morning. Denise was very responsive to any questions and was a great host. Highly recommend this awesome site.

Excellent campsite, the river access is a great spot with stairs going down. Do wear good water shoes for the large rocks. We made a raft of four donuts and floated down the river to the conservation site. Very fun, the trek up river was a task as the river seems slow when going down. Have fun! Next to the field we saw lots of butterflies and stars!

Georgian Bay Islands National Park

Sixty-three islands make up Georgian Bay Islands National Park—part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Beausoleil Island is the park’s largest at 8-kilometres long and features lakeside vistas that campers can hike or bike to for the night. The park also hosts 130 campsites among several campgrounds—some are more primitive while others offer amenities such as flush toilets and showers. Keep in mind that the park is only accessible by boat or kayak, but there are shuttle boats available.

Tobermory

Scuba divers flock to Tobermory, the “freshwater scuba diving capital of the world.” Explore Bruce Peninsula Grotto, a wave-carved cave in the bay. Or explore shipwreck dive sites at Fathom Five National Marine Park. Then visit nearby Driftwood Cove to witness its famed stands of cliff’s edge trees—among the oldest trees in eastern North America. Its distinctive ecosystem is also home to rare orchids, like the ram’s head lady slipper.
