Many trails throughout the property have diverse character and back onto hundreds of acres of crown land with an abundance of wildlife. This wilderness escape is just a 2-hour drive from Toronto yet completely secluded. There are no people or houses in sight, no cars, no lights – only the whispering of the towering pines and the sounds of nature.
There are three comfortable cabins on-site, Pine Ridge, Vista, and Brooks, each uniquely positioned for maximum privacy and unobstructed views. The cabins are accessible by a short walk from the parking lot and come equipped with a kitchenette, a fully screened porch, and a tree-house-like sleeping loft. Vista and Brooks have a wood-burning stove and can be used in winter. Pine Ridge is a 3 season cabin with no heating source.
Come here and enjoy nothing but silence - the serenity makes you feel that you are the only one on Earth. Stroll down to the lake to canoe, paddle, swim, fish, or grab your backpack and head down to the QE II Provincial park to explore extensive canoe routes and hiking trails. Nobody around for miles - LITERALLY! on site if you like to ride and camp all at the same place. Gorgeous and serene !
Pricing for trail rides - sleigh rides separate. You can also bring your own horses for horse camping we have a beautiful new facility to accommodate almost any equestrian need.
Upon arrival you can safely park your car and we can if desired carry your gear and you pack to the camping acreage via our tractor or golf cart or simply walk yourself - it’s not far. Our outhouse is near the main house - we have access to a SOLIS X for an extra fee if you need WIFI. Farm fresh eggs also available to cook over your fire from our 12 new and amazing chickens ! Free of charge ... we will do anything possible to make your stay comfy and relaxed. Please note - firewood is available for an extra fee (we prefer if you don’t bring your own since some can be infected with invasive species and we try to protect the area as much as possibles). Firewood is $6.00 a bag and typically includes starters and kindling) depending on the local supplier we use.
Coming in the summer - fire pits - bunkies - GLAMPING - and more but for now - come walk / hike our endless trails lined with black berry bushes and wild strawberries along our “secret garden” and enjoy absolute privacy and solitude knowing we are sort of nearby if you need anything at all. We are new at this - just bought this amazing property but we are here to share the experience- WELCOME to our journey - we are at the first step. If you have any questions please ask ! We want to accommodate everyone as best we can :) Need a baby seat or carrier - we can help ... if you forgot your rain coat just text us, we’ll run one out to you and if you want to ride the horses as well .. just let us know your experience level and we will try to accommodate (it may not always be possible so please ask in advance it cannot be done on arrival) . We have very skilled trail guides and coaches on staff and we offer husband horses for those in the know :) We don’t have any set prices for trail rides yet so give us a shout and we’ll work it out but typically we offer lessons at - it’s difficult to price not knowing skill levels and staff required to support your experience so we hope you understand. Mostly we want you to come - unload your baggage and walk into our little slice of heaven ... we call it respite for your soul and we think you’ll think so too.

Good spot. Very private and quiet. Camp and cabins were well kept. Camp was well stocked with chairs, tables, bbq's. Solar lights in cabins were a bonus. We would have brought less gear if we knew how well stocked it was. The lake is not for fishing. We'd book again knowing what we're getting.

Very cool property with an impressive view. Host is friendly and acocmodating. The cabin is very cozy and we enjoyed using the sauna. I can see that this place would offer something unique in each season, would deffinitely need to check it out again.

This place exceeded my expectations, the location is easy to find but still feels remote enough to feel private and isolated. Initially booked as a stopover camp site between parks we ended up scrapping a days plan just to spend a full day at this site!
