We had an awesome night in the bell tent! It was one of the most secluded sites we've ever stayed at. The tent is set back very far on the property, which made it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. The weaving hiking trails were a great walk in the morning, and the viewpoints along the way were incredible. We'd definitely recommend staying and would love to come back!

An exceptional stay with outstanding hosts. The off-leash policy was a highlight, and the resident dogs were friendly and well-behaved. The property is expansive, featuring a fascinating collection of Airstreams and Bolers to explore. Chris and his wife were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. Weekend Trip to Maitland River Campground

I’ve have come to Cardinals Nest twice and both times I have loved it. The cabin is beautiful and spacious, and hosts have all basic amenities you need in it. They also have started adding water jugs to the cabin which was super helpful. There is a nice stream for puppers to play in and a ton of room to roam/ hike. Cabins are spread out so you don’t feel cramped. Very highly suggest !

I had a great time staying in this little trailer. It’s a cozy setup with just enough space to feel comfortable, and it’s located on a beautiful open property right next to the forest, perfect for a quiet getaway. There’s bathroom access close by and a firepit just a short walk away, which made the evenings extra relaxing. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a peaceful spot with a bit of retro charm.

Absolutely breathtaking. This site is extremely private, it has many trails in which you can’t really get lost in as they all loop back into one another. The tent is extremely spacious and cozy and has just about everything you need. The only thing I would recommend is to purchase extra wood in advance or even whilst there as the kindling doesn’t last long.

Weekend Trip to Sunrise Silo Acres

We stayed in the safari tent November 16th. Despite the colder weather, the tent was cozy and comfortable with the help of the wood stove. Aiden provides wood for your stay, along with potable water and pretty much everything else that you need. Bring your beverages and food and unwind. Everything is curated with thought in mind, right down to the rechargeable lights in the outhouse automatically turning on when the door opens. The bed was unbelievably comfy! We will be back.
