Second time at this adorable cabin. Very well stocked but also minimalistic. Great place to extend the camping season if you don't have a hot tent. Fantastic little well-equipped bunkie with excellent privacy on a quiet and spacious lot! Chris and Denise were wonderful and very easygoing hosts who ensured our group had what we needed and gave us a quick tour of the site before giving us free range for the duration of our stay. The shop has an impressive array of trailers onsite to gander at while there, and the shop building bathroom was a nice luxury to have for group camping. Loved our time there, a very unique spot to spend some time.

1 night at Happy Buddha Bell Tent

We had an awesome night in the bell tent! It was one of the most secluded sites we've ever stayed at. The tent is set back very far on the property, which made it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. The weaving hiking trails were a great walk in the morning, and the viewpoints along the way were incredible. We'd definitely recommend staying and would love to come back!

An exceptional stay with outstanding hosts. The off-leash policy was a highlight, and the resident dogs were friendly and well-behaved. I’ve have come to Cardinals Nest twice and both times I have loved it. The cabin is beautiful and spacious, and hosts have all basic amenities you need in it. They also have started adding water jugs to the cabin which was super helpful. There is a nice stream for puppers to play in and a ton of room to roam/ hike. Cabins are spread out so you don’t feel cramped. Very highly suggest !

Beautiful and cozy space! Right near the lake, a walk down the road there, perfect place to swim and cool off on the summer days. Nice spot for campfires at night. Brought e-bikes and explored the back country roads but there’s nota of trails around as well to be discovered. Definitely recommend!

I had a great time staying in this little trailer. It’s a cozy setup with just enough space to feel comfortable, and it’s located on a beautiful open property right next to the forest, perfect for a quiet getaway. There’s bathroom access close by and a firepit just a short walk away, which made the evenings extra relaxing. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a peaceful spot with a bit of retro charm.

Absolutely breathtaking. This site is extremely private, it has many trails in which you can’t really get lost in as they all loop back into one another. The tent is extremely spacious and cozy and has just about everything you need. The only thing I would recommend is to purchase extra wood in advance or even whilst there as the kindling doesn’t last long.

We had a great night at the cabin! We were longing for the camp fire in the evening, so we enjoyed the stars while roasting marshmallows. The cabin was very cozy with the wood stove. Scott had the place stocked with lots of dry wood for both the campfire and stove. We both slept well on the fold down futon. The mattress was very comfortable. We played cards, games and just unplugged from the world. The cabin was a short 1.5 hrs from home and was a great get away from the city for a night. We look forward to our next visit.
