Having flown under the radar for quite some time, New Brunsick is one of Canada’s most intriguing spots, sandwiched between Maine in the United States to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Evidence of Acadian and First Nations cultures is everywhere, from food to historical sites, and the famed Bay of Fundy offers sandy beaches and coastlines forged by the world’s highest tides. The towns of Saint John, Fredericton, and Moncton serve as gateways to expansive national and provincial parks, meaning that New Brunswick campgrounds and RV parks make for great spots to stay the night as you get out into nature. The Bay of Fundy is known for having the highest tides in the world—you can either walk the ocean floor when the tide is out, or kayak among the tall flowerpot rocks when it’s in. Set on the Bay of Fundy and easily accessed from the U.S. border, the former industrial town of Saint John is the most well-known in New Brunswick. It’d be hard to visit the province without a stop in at the breweries and boutiques here, but the port city is also surrounded by nature and opportunities for beach camping and RV stays. RV and tent camping can be found right in Saint John, while oceanfront campgrounds dot the nearby resort town of Saint Andrews.

The sparsely populated northern part of New Brunswick is known for remote camping and hiking opportunities. Climb the province's highest peaks and get treated to a view of 10 million trees in Mount Carleton Provincial Park, or head east to Caraquet, the heart of Acadian New Brunswick, to gorge on traditional foods and immerse yourself in the unique culture.

Please note when arriving that our driveway is clearly marked with our fire number on the gate and our gate is wooden and the property is completely fenced. (We hope to avoid you mistaking our neighbours driveway who also have trailer’s) Enjoy the quiet skyline and maybe even catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Our grass lots are backed with lush Appalachian forest and leads way to a slow brook. Check in is self guided as there is no host on site but you'll find it simple as all sites, as well as the toilet area are marked with signage. Camp fire wood is available at no charge. Just be mindful and leave some for others. There is no potable water on site however, we do have an out building with toilet. Free Showers and potable water are available at Murray provincial park during open season. You can reach us 24/7 via text or cell. We are Located just off the Acadian Coastal Drive, west of Murray Corner and minutes from the beautiful Fundy shore. We recommend taking shore drive for your travels here as Murray Rd is VERY uneven. You can bring your tent, RV, van or camper and choose from 8 amazing sites. Looking to see multiple provinces?? We are in the perfect spot to see all of what the East coast has to offer. View PEI’s spectacular Confederation Bridge from the shoreline and take a drive to PEI which is only minutes from us. Mainland Nova Scotia is less than a 30 minute drive and if you’re adventurous and want to drive the Cabot Trail then you can reach Cape Breton Island in under 2 hours! Catch a Ferry to Newfoundland if your heart desires.

We also own an off-grid camping area close to Fundy Trail Provincial Park, where I have made a hiking trail to an epic location which I have been developing for rock climbing over 10 years. From our farm you can pull a kayak on wheels to the river to be fishing in ten minutes, or roll through the forest on a fat bike enjoying a loop trail around the property. We'll include the bikes, rod and worms at no charge. You could easily fill a weekend here with outdoor activities and make memories you'll never forget. Wake up listening to the birds in this birdwatchers paradise. There is plenty wildlife such as deer, and turtles in the pond. Whenever we say we live in Jemseg the response is always, "It's beautiful there."

Welcome to Fundy Gateway Hipcamp! We have three unserviced sites. Two sites can accommodate units up to 25 feet in length, while one site can accommodate a unit up to 20 feet. We are conveniently located between Fundy National Park and Hopewell Rocks. The town of Riverside-Albert, where we are located, has a convenience store with a gas station, a pharmacy, and plenty of trails for both hikers and bikers. Take a trip down the Crooked Creek Trail to a waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip or simply take in the views. Directly on the property, there is private access to the Shepody Trail. One direction will take you to the convenience store, while the other leads to a covered bridge. You can also visit the Shepody Dam, which controls the river running through town.

The historic barns, deep swimming pond, sugar house, and stunning woods with trails that have 2 disc golf baskets all provide ample space, entertainment and privacy for a quiet and relaxing retreat. Learn more about this land: Come join us at the Gaylin Farms – home to four friendly goats, Newfoundland ponies, Chanticler chickens, two dogs and a cat. Stay at our completely private cabin (sleeps 3 comfortably, sleeping mats/air mattresses NOT provided) isolated within the centre of a gorgeous 25-acre forest with a private groomed c. 1.5 km walking/biking trail. The cabin is a 5-minute walk from the Trans Canada RailTrail which grants easy access for longer bike rides, runs, hikes, and four-wheeler adventures. You’ll walk through a horse pasture and a cow pasture on your way to the cabin. There is a large farm pond (10ft deep) on the property for swimming. Enjoy access to locally-sourced food, firewood (at a small fee), drinking water, a private firepit, small wood stove and our old-fashioned wood-fired cook stove. There is no electricity or running water (but we provide ample drinking water) and there can be access to a charger box so you may charge your devices or have a light at night. Bring your pets and enjoy a private retreat. The max capacity of the cabin is three people. An outhouse with double-duty bag and second luggable loo are available for all guests. Minimum stay: 2 nights. NEW ADDITION: A new room, a small annex, has been constructed to allow for downstairs sleeping and writing area. It is fully insulated with a wood stove so this area may be used year round. The annex gives one a deeper feeling of being a part of the woods.

Got site 1 for tent camping and it was perfect for our nights stay. We could pull up right to our site with our vehicle easily and the ground was flat and perfect and we even had a tree for shade. They supplied a whole table and chairs for us and a garbage bin. Straight forward rules. The animals were such a sweet touch to the stay and made it memorable. This site was perfect driving distance to champlain place and all major amenities. Hosts were so kind. Would recommend and will be back.

From the time I booked to the time we checked out Charlene and Jim were very attentive to our needs before and during our stay! We have just set out on a very long trip from Virginia to Nova Scotia and made a stop for two days to rest! We were parked on a nicely cut grassy area just across from the sheep pen. There was no smell at all. We enjoyed watching the chickens running about and hearing the rooster crow in the morning! There is a very clean porta potty on site with hand sanitizer available. If we are ever in the area we would stop and stay again! Thank you Charlene and Jim!

Not much has changed here since the 1800's. Feel the homesteading experience.

Super friendly family, took me to the best swim spot in a quarry! Cory caught a fish and shared it that night. They went kayaking the next day. Cory is from the area back to his grandparents and he knows how to show you around. I slept in my car up above the Orchard. Their homestead is a work in progress and I felt absolutely welcome and included.

Cory and his wonderful family were so welcoming! I had a beautiful, shady spot that offered privacy as well as access to everything with well kept trails throughout the property. They were kind enough to include me in trips to a secret swimming hole, and bonfires with their family friends who were also visiting. He was immediately responsive to my only concern, a lack of table, and I had dropped off one within the day. I was busy with day trips so didn’t spend as much time exploring ‘on site’ as I would have liked, but I would certainly return to do such. Beautiful property, and great hosts!

This campsite was awesome - the spot itself is very private, there’s a wood platform for your tent and a table which was great for games! Just a short walk down a trail to get to the river - we brought our paddle boards and floated down the river. The hosts are very nice and they have an absolutely amazing property! It’s also close to some great hiking options. There is no service though, which didn’t bother us, but good to know!

Weekend Trip to Paws Crossing: a woods retreat.

Peaceful and rustic retreat! You can't beat the privacy. I enjoyed nights around the fire and my dogs were so relaxed here. Location is right off the Transcanada Trail, so I trailered my ATV and enjoyed a ride to Port Elgin for lunch. The host is very kind and helpful. One of the nicer off grid experiences I've had. 2 nights at Old Mill Camp

This was a fantastic camp site! It rained off and on our entire trip but this was still probably one of the best camp trips we have been on. The water on the river is very clear , warm, shallow and slow running enough to be safe for the kiddos to play in but still active enough to not have to worry over blue green algea. The view is stunning and the area is super quiet. Was super relaxing at night falling asleep listening to the water going down river. Its not a crazy bumpy backwoods drive to the campsite like getting to many other off grid camp sites can be. The site is just like the picture. Tent was big enough for all our gear and the 3 of us plus our dog comfortably. The bed was very comfortable and tent was in great conditions. Super relaxing to get on site and already have seats and a tent set up with bed in it . Bonus being there was actually a camp light and string of christmas lights in the tent for us to use. Couldnt have asked for a more beautiful and well set up camp site to spend the weekend and the tree coverage was pretty decent too which helped break up the rain a little. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone looking for off grid camping without the hassle of lugging excessive gear. I definitely would go back in a heartbeat. The memories my family made this weekend will last a lifetime. My kids actually said this was the most fun camp trip yet even over other cabin trips made and I 100% agree. Book the site! you wont be dissapointed folks! 😊😊

Amazing spot! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful! My dogs had a great time running around on the huge hipcamp spot and I relaxed by a fire overlooking the pond. Great honey products too! Definitly recommend for the amazing spot and the hosts :)!

1 night at Laughing Pig Farm

Spent a night tenting with my old dog. Ellen was helpful and attentive. As advertised there were many animals roaming about, including two gregarious dogs. I was a little concerned as they were off leash and I needed to keep mine on leash, which isn’t always an ideal scenario with dogs, but we had no trouble. It’s a stunning drive in to the site too

1 night at Outback Campsite

This beautiful spot exceeded our expectations! We had this huge field to ourselves that was surrounded with lush trees to give some privacy! There was also an outhouse and firepit for us to use. The absolute highlight was the view of the Bay of Fundy, it was magical watching the full moon light up the water all night.

1 night at Yip Cider

We took a walk around the grounds…magnificent!! Camping in the parking lot was fine. Quiet and fairly private, even with other campers. I wish Yip was open on Mondays!! From the look of it, they know how to do things right.

Weekend Trip to Kavanagh Farm camping

Beautiful spot & very nice owners! We really enjoyed our stay & our kids absolutely loved the animals and all the room to run around! Perfect distance to town! My boys even got to name a baby bunny! They chose "jimmy sprinkles"
