Welcome to Fundy Gateway Hipcamp! We have three unserviced sites. Two sites can accommodate units up to 25 feet in length, while one site can accommodate a unit up to 20 feet. We are conveniently located between Fundy National Park and Hopewell Rocks. The town of Riverside-Albert, where we are located, has a convenience store with a gas station, a pharmacy, and plenty of trails for both hikers and bikers. Take a trip down the Crooked Creek Trail to a waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip or simply take in the views. Directly on the property, there is private access to the Shepody Trail. One direction will take you to the convenience store, while the other leads to a covered bridge. You can also visit the Shepody Dam, which controls the river running through town.

Enjoy direct access to the Shepody Trail for hiking, walking and biking, plus fishing and outdoor adventures right nearby. Just a 2-minute drive to the Shepody River for kayak or canoe launching, and 2 minutes to Crooked Creek Lookout, trails and waterfalls. Ideally located within approximately 15 minutes of Hopewell Rocks, Alma, Fundy National Park, Cape Enrage and Dennis Beach. Nearby conveniences include a gas and diesel station, convenience store with alcohol (NB) and basic groceries. Pump-out service and water fill are also available. A great home base for exploring the Bay of Fundy, with plenty of space to relax between adventures!

Sam was one of the most helpful friendly hosts. Thought about our needs even before requested. Nice grassy Terrain. One hour bike to Hopewell Rocks. It was private as we were the only ones there. Don’t know how it would work with two or three, ground can be soft so check with him in advance. Other than that 5 Star!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sam’s Hipcamp! From the moment we arrived, Sam gave us such a pleasant, warm greeting and made us feel right at home. His hospitality was outstanding and truly made our stay special. The property itself is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, spacious, and such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Sam even had boards available to help us level our rig, which was incredibly thoughtful. He also made potable water available so we could fill our drinking-water jugs and our wash-water tank, which was a huge convenience for us while camping. And one of our favourite parts? Hearing the cows! There was something so wonderful and peaceful about waking up and hearing them—it really added to the whole experience. Sam has created a beautiful place, and his kindness and hospitality make it even better. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend his Hipcamp to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, welcoming place to camp. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
