Your dogs or other small pets are permitted in the camping areas only as our herd is terrified of dogs. There is another large area (about 5 acres) where well-behaved dogs can run off leash. We have one RV site with septic, water and 50 Amp power and can fit a 40 foot unit and 2 totally private tent sites. There is a full washroom with tub/shower, toilet and wifi access in our old farmhouse which is complimentary during your stay. Enjoy 20 beautiful acres just 5 minutes out of Vernon. Close proximity to Kal Lake, Swan Lake and Lake Okanagan. Fantastic hiking trails, biking trails, and watersports close by. We currently have 7 dispersed sites. These sites are set up in a ring, each with their own fire pit when there is no fire ban. There are washrooms and showers at our shop just a little hike from the sites. The water is well water and quite soft, but it is potable. The skinny taps in the washrooms do have filtered water There is potable water for washing dishes ( warm and cold) at the taps on the outside of the shop - near the entrance door for the washrooms. We live on the property as well, up on the hill. We want everyone to have a wonderful experience but do also want you to have your privacy. We venture down to the sites periodically to check but do try to stay out of the way. We look forward to hosting you!

Weekend Trip to 4D Creek Ranch

Beautiful, peaceful setting, lovely view from the kitchen area. We enjoyed seeing/hearing the cows and sheep and some wild deer that wandered through. Bonus was hearing the coyotes singing at night. The common area kitchen area was set up very nicely. We enjoyed sitting at the picnic table playing games and having our meal there. Deanne generously let us stay in the yurt at site 5, though we had only reserved for a tent site. The campground is still a little rough around the edges, however. That’s understandable since this is their first year. They are still installing a horseshoe pitch and doing more landscaping. Right now it is not so great for tenting — no grassy spots to pitch a tent. And the common area is just bare dirt ground. But I’m sure it will be all nicely set up for next season. I would recommend this place.

Perfect place for an overnight while travelling through for our needs. Friendly welcome, nice atmosphere. There is some road/ train noise but that is to be expected so close to the highway. We really enjoyed it for a quick and easy stopover on our way through from Sk. to Vancouver. Thanks!

A beautiful property with cedar trees, a creek, vegetable gardens and pastures. Heather's mom Saundra was our host and what a lovely lady she is. She'll take you on a tour and tell you all about the animals as they are rescues. The washroom was clean. We had a lovely weekend there and will be back.

Weekend Trip to Dusty Acres

Had an amazing time. The hosts were really kind and welcoming. Sight was a great size lots of room. Felt private even with the sight next to us. The river was the selling points. A sort walk and so nice to relax at was a great stay
