Camping at Olich Creek Farm is unique and family friendly. Most of our rescued farm animals roam the property freely and absolutely love human visitors. Families with children will also enjoy the natural play areas the farm offers including a shallow creek and visits with our chickens and ducks. Your dogs or other small pets are permitted in the camping areas only as our herd is terrified of dogs. There is another large area (about 5 acres) where well-behaved dogs can run off leash.
We have one RV site with septic, water and 50 Amp power and can fit a 40 foot unit and 2 totally private tent sites. There is a full washroom with tub/shower, toilet and wifi access in our old farmhouse which is complimentary during your stay.
Should you find that your desired dates are already booked, please reach out to us as we may have a back up spot available.
Please keep in mind we are an organic farm homestead that offers an agritourism experience. We are not a manicured campground :) Your camping fees go directly to support our aging farm animals and horses.

There is great hiking behind the property and beautiful waterfalls within a 45 drive.
Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban. We have two livestock guarding dogs that take car of the property so unfortunately no pets please.
Our property is located in Barriere, BC. Barriere is a special place with its own unique character. It is located in Kamloops Country in the Thompson Okanagan region of British Columbia. This is a small, friendly community, located only 45 minutes north of Kamloops, that has all the major conveniences of a city but offers a life of quiet, relaxed living. Surrounded by rolling, forest-covered mountains, the local scenery is an excellent example of why British Columbia is known for its spectacular beauty.

Beautiful, peaceful setting, lovely view from the kitchen area. We enjoyed seeing/hearing the cows and sheep and some wild deer that wandered through. Bonus was hearing the coyotes singing at night. The common area kitchen area was set up very nicely. We enjoyed sitting at the picnic table playing games and having our meal there. Deanne generously let us stay in the yurt at site 5, though we had only reserved for a tent site.
The campground is still a little rough around the edges, however. That’s understandable since this is their first year. They are still installing a horseshoe pitch and doing more landscaping. Right now it is not so great for tenting — no grassy spots to pitch a tent. And the common area is just bare dirt ground. But I’m sure it will be all nicely set up for next season. I would recommend this place.

We stayed in our trailer at the Barn site and what a great experience! The goats, sheep, horses, rooster and ducks were all grazing around us. Some came over to say hi but we're never bothersome. A beautiful property with cedar trees, a creek, vegetable gardens and pastures. Heather's mom Saundra was our host and what a lovely lady she is. She'll take you on a tour and tell you all about the animals as they are rescues.
The washroom was clean. We had a lovely weekend there and will be back.

It's a nice spot to stay with friendly hosts and wide open views of the surrounding hills. You'll be in a grassy fenced in area with no amenities too far away.
NOTE: Double check the destination if tapping directly from the Hipcamp app to Google Maps because the first place it sent us was down the wrong road. We had to type in the actual address, then we got there okay.
